It's good for a quick cheap fix, but there's really only 1 person who can do anything so if they have two customers they're "booked" they are also a bit judgmental and will rush you to get to the next client. So if you're looking for a simple polish I'd go here but if you're looking for more I wouldn't recommend it. Read Less

I've elected to come here a few times due to its convenient location to my work place and each time found the quality of service average at best. While the place seems reasonably sanitary and the people are nice, they really do a half hearted, rush job. You definitely don't get the sense that you're being pampered in the least! My most recent experience was notably unsatisfactory and will be my last time. Spending only 25 min from start to finish on a gel manicure is ridiculous and unacceptable! The technician seemed distracted and annoyed to be doing my nails and spent next to zero time on my overgrown cuticles, leaving behind 90 percent of them. The paint job was equally rushed and sloppy. The insult to injury was the "hand massage" at the end, if you can even call it that. She literally slapped a dollop of lotion on the back of each hand and hardly rubbed it in saying "all done." I couldn't believe it. Convenient location aside, there is nothing positive about the manicure service here. I feel badly writing such a negative review when the people are nice enough. However, they don't even try to make it a pleasurable and relaxing experience. I will not make the mistake of returning again. If you're looking for above average manicure service and a relaxing experience, do not waste your time or money here. You will be disappointed. Read Less

This place is not as great as these reviews say they are. When I was there I would not call them technicians. Anyone could do a pedicure like they did. The pedicure I had was nothing special. Also the pedicure basins were not clean. When she put water in mine something came lose and she had to screw it back on and black stuff came out from behind the thing that fell off when she stared to circulate the water.  The basins next to me looked like they were not clean after they were used. Where you put your feet up on the foot rest that was not clean. The nail instruments they used on your feet where not taken out of a sterilized bag, they were just sitting in blue water. She put it back in the blue water then pulled out another one. I wonder if this is done from person to person. When my pedicure was done she drained the water and walked away from the basin, not cleaning it at al. I came to this place based on all the good reviews. Read Less

Jen H. has NO idea what she's talking about! This is my favorite place to get both manicures and pedicures The technicians put real attention into their work, which leads to long lasting manies and truly HAPPY nails! The pedicure chairs are super comfortable and adjustable. The music is always soft and a TV remote is always within arms reach. I love this place because it is never crowded---this is actually a catch 22 because I'm fairly certain that it's only the owner and a single technician working the floor: this means you will have to wait if you don't call ahead. But, call ahead, and you'll receive the best reasonably priced manicure in a 20 mile radius ($10.00!) ! The first review posted was written before the newest owner took over. He is amazing and super friendly, soft spoken and has great energy. He is extremely professional and is also a very skilled technician. The new staff is also really good, and this is by far the highest quality mani/pedi you will receive in a 20 mile vicinity. The Prices are great, the pedi chairs are top notch, and you are given the remote to control the TV (I always turn it off and no one objects)This place is lovely and doesn't smell like fumes. I will continue to be a customer there whenever i am in the areaManis last a week easily, and my pedi will last two!A+, Happy Nails! Read Less

I had a really BAD experience here, and when I say bad, I don't mean I was just annoyed. I left there bleeding and COMPLETELY unhappy. I called there on my day off, a Wednesday, last month, and since it is the only free day I have in the week, I like to schedule my day, in order to maximize my time. When I initially called to setup an appointment, I was basically barked at and told to come in at any time and an appointment wasn't necessary. Mind you, I asked to make an appointment REPEATEDLY and was shot down. I make appointments almost everywhere I go, if it's available, in order to avoid having to wait, which brings me to the next awful link in the bad experience chain. I get there only to see that the two women there have started working on customers. No one is at the front desk, and neither of the women even turns to look at me. One of the customers actually ended up telling them I was there, and the lady says it'll be 20 minutes. Was I not just told to hurry down there ASAP?! So, at that point, I was fuming, but given that I had already made the trek out there, I decided to stay. I went to Tony's, grabbed a slice, and came back. To make a long story short, the girl that did my pedi (Sanya?) went to town on my cuticles that I barely have and ended up cutting my big toe. After she stopped the bleeding, my toe was throbbing the rest of the pedicure, but the WORST part of the whole thing is how disgusting the place is. When she started sawing at my toes, she pulled these deteriorating, ancient files and buffers out and threw them back in her rolling caddy, after she used them on me. Then, the woman next to her, who I later found out was the owner, grabbed the same file and buffer and started working on her customer! OMG, I should have bolted, right then and there, with warning flags 1 and 2, but like an idiot, I just kept my mouth shut and told myself it couldn't get worse. So, I'm sitting there grossed out and in pain, and I start to notice that the low lights aren't just for ambiance. They are actually hiding the filth of the carpet. I didn't notice it at first (who examines the floor, as they are walking?), but once I was high up in the pedi chair, I saw all of the toenail clippings stuck in the carpet - so gross! Plus, that gross navy carpet is all over the salon, even in the bathroom! OMG, don't get me started on the bathroom. Okay, fast-forward, the pedicure is finished, I ask where the bathroom is, and she says it's at the end, to the right. I go in, and the light switch doesn't work. It's dark as a frickin' cave, and I ask her if the light is broken - to which she replies that's all the light there is. The light, in question, is one bulb on the floor of the bathroom, in the corner. Um.. :/ Okay, whatever, I needed to pee. I do what I went there to do. Then, I go to flush, and there's no water pressure - no hint of water movement. Embarrassing, much? Can you imagine if it was anything else? I would be beet red asking someone to help me flush the toilet, knowing we would both be standing around it, working feverishly to get it to flush. Yeah, so, I finally exit the bathroom (if you can call it that with no working lights or toilet), and I go to dry my toes. I am sitting there for a solid 20 minutes, and no one checks on me - not even the girl that did my toes. Finally, I decide to oil my own toes, pull the paper out, and head to the register, but the owner, who is now sitting at the first table, doesn't even turn her head to acknowledge me! I was beyond LIVID! After all of this, you can't even put forth the effort to extend your hand to TAKE MY MONEY?! To top it off, 3 DAYS LATER, I had an infected toe, and the polish on both of my big toes was already chipped off! I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place at all. I had the worst nail experience I have ever had at Happy Nails, and to add insult to injury, I'm still nursing my toe back to health. :I Read Less
