Been going here off and on for 2 years.  Every time I go I remember why I haven't been in so long.  I always get the same thing-acrylic fill with gel polish- and yet each time I go it is a different price.  Not only that, but what typically takes me 45 minutes elsewhere has me here for over an hour.  The polish is usually messed up after a week, the acrylic is not high quality, and  overall my nails are all uneven.  I am especially annoyed after my most recent visit having to be told over and over how I needed a new set, knowing I had just gotten one last month, I let her know I did not want one and she would not stop hounding me.  Lots of nail places in Glassboro with better service. First I will say the location itself was comfortable clean, they attended to me fairly quickly, and they were all very nice and helpful. I went in for a full set, I had a picture and knew what I wanted ahead of time, I was fully aware that it would be a higher price and was fine with it however when I showed them the picture and explained they tried to discourage me from choosing it. After sticking to my original desire for my nails for quite a while they then told me it would upwards of $50 (way to much for what I wanted let alone for a college student). I then relented and changed to short almond nails with a natural pink gel color (Bubble Bath). Anna did my nails and she did a very nice job. I should have followed my gut and gone somewhere else for what I originally wanted, especially since these were going to be my birthday nails. The charged me $40 for a full set with gel, no design nothing fancy. From my experience that is beyond overpriced because they charged for gel color, length, and shape even though they were shorter than medium length and a simple almond shape. On top of all of this not even three days later, one nail had fallen off and four others were lifting. Now a week later, 2 nails are gone and my nails are grown out and look closer to 2.5 maybe 3 weeks old.  Would not recommend them for acrylics. Read Less

I wanted to give this place a chance. They’re very nice and personable initially but i had a horrible experience. The nails are uneven and the polish was layered on way too thick. She must of not let it dry enough under the UV light in between coats because the nail polish popped after a few days and was wet still underneath the layers. I still waited to give a bad review because sometimes there’s just one bad nail tech at a good salon. But I went to (not even ask for a refund) get the nail polish changed because of the mess up and explained what happened. She was super rude and walked me around pointing to her nail techs asking me which one. Once I told her what nail tech it was she just said that they’ll changed the color but they’re charging me and “It’s not her fault”. I explained that I either wanted a refund or just to have the color changed since they messed up my nails and she just repeated herself. I guess they don’t value their customers money or time. I had my first experience with Lush Nails and Spa on Thursday, September 14, 2017. I went in and had next to no wait time, and had the sweetest nail tech, Margie. The gel manicure came out beautifully, however, five days after my nails were done, a few started to chip and one nail completely ripped off due to a weak spot in the polish, and anyone who has gotten gel knows they last at least 2 weeks and this was uncharacteristic of this type of polish. I called the salon the next day when they opened and the woman I spoke to on the phone asked me to come in so they can fix it. The same tech I had before, without hesitation, brought me back and fixed them. Most places I've been to charge around $10 to fix a nail, they did it free of charge(which was mostly because of the short length of time the manicure started to chip). The amount of accommodation and eagerness to please their customers is by far better than anywhere else I have been. Busy place.  Waited a long time to get a mani pedi. The positive was they sat us in the pedicure chairs so we could soak our feet and use the massage chair while we waited. Where to begin...well I have been to this salon a handful of times. This salon is very close to my house and the pictures on Yelp lured me in. I went there for a full set and refills after. The first couple of times I had an okay experience. The nail techs I had were not very friendly but did an okay job on my nails. Then the third time I got a refill, a man did my nails. He made me bleed twice and one of my pinky nails was VERY crooked. When he was taking off the previous color he did not remove the color completely. I mentioned it and he was not pleased but tried to fix it. The next time I went for a refill and a different woman worked on my nails. My nails were a dark grey color and my refill was to go to a baby pink color. Well my nail tech did the same as the man I had had before and did not buff out the color enough because by the time I paid and got in my car I had grey patches underneath my pink color. It looked horrible. I showed the woman at the front desk who happened to be the manager. She was very upset that someone did this to my nails and she walked me around the entire nail salon showing all of the nail techs my nails. I was pretty embarrassed that she paraded me around the salon and I knew it made the nail techs upset. The manager redid my nails but my nail tech that did the job gave me a dirty look and after I got up to leave she said something under her breath to me. I absolutely love this nail salon !! Super clean , super friendly and they have patience like no other doing detailed work and what is best fit for the client. Product knowledge was key for me as it gave me a better understanding on what was best fit for my nails and what services I needed to have my set last longer and looking great !! Nails cut down way too short then French manicure with way too thick white polish across top. My baby toenail is nearly gone. My left hand nails were really long & my right working hand had a few short but none lower then top of my fingers. I asked the girl to cut the left to match the right & she cut my right hand shorter then the tips of my fingers. Then did the same with the left hand. This does not bode well for a French manicure unless the white tips are super thin but no, she painted thick white uneven sloped lines of polish. & polished the clear top coat into the skin on the tops of my fingers. I'm not a mean person so naturally wasn't going to "give her a piece of my mind" but will never go again. I was with a friend & we thought it'd be fun to do this together. We weren't anywhere near one another in the shop. Each time I attempted to start a conversation with my tech, the tech next to her spoke to her in another language. I hail from an extremely culturally diverse city & love to hear others speak their native language but I'm paying $55 w/ tip for a lousy mani/pedi/French manicure & you're outright rude to boot. Plus, she didn't even ask if I wanted change when I gave her a $50 × a $5. Super disappointed with end product. Would not recommend. My friends looked great & she paid $5 less. She had a male tech. The lady that took care of me was quick and efficient on what she was doing. She also took time in every details on my nails and made my nails look perfect. The price was reasonable for what i got. Worst nail salon I've ever been to in my life. Wanted to start off the year nicely but nope! The man fucked up my nail color by trying different ones because they kept drying out! On top of that he has the nerve to cut my thumb and put alcohol on it afterwards??! The gel light barely worked and when he went to wipe them off at the end with alcohol the color came off with it! Got a full set today and I love them. We were waiting outside of the salon at 9:30 and they showed up around 9:40 which is no problem at all. The ladies and gentleman were very nice. nice looking place, conveniently located, but damn it is the ENDLESS up-sell here. If I wanted a service I'd ask for it.  I don't really wanted to be pressed or queried as to why my friend is getting X but I am not.  There are constant options on offer without mention of additional fee, so if you aren't careful, you are going to add $$ to your basic mani/pedicure without meaning to.  This is too bad because the salon could stand on its own without the pushy sales job. I went to this place twice since I got to Rowan. The manager is extremely rude, she's the little lady who just has an attitude problem for no reason at all. I got acrylics done and they were sooo sloppy. I went for the coffin shape btw. & i could tell that they were not on secure. When I went for a REFILL at a different salon, the nail tech there had to take off all of my nails because he said whoever did them did a poor job and they were barely on my nails. I will never ever ever ever go there again. Not even for my brows, because I went back for my brows and they did a sloppy job with that as well. Please safe yourself the money & go somewhere else.
