Vie Voo is such a relaxing Nail Salon. It's appointment only so you never need to wait. My nail tech is so sweet and her work is flawless, my mani and pedi are always done with perfection. I've been going there for 5years and my Tech knows what I like and always encourages me to try the latest nail art or gel polish. It's clean and always nice music playing or you can catch the tv on but on mute in closed caption so you experience a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Read Less

Extremely rude lady and the owner, I told the guy I just wanted my gel removed he said it will be $12 and if I get a manicure with the gel removal it will be cheaper $20I said okay let's do this.So this lady Diana something if I am not wrong some Vietnamese Chinesse lady stated doing my removal extremely rude.. No smile no greeting at all, kept acting as if she is doing me a favour and just doing it for the heck of it!!!!Keep pushing my hand away and forward with a force.. Didn't do any manicure just removed the gel and put new regular color with her extremely rude attitude and weird looks and charged me $20 for this Crap!!Right after me she started doing another American lady's color and was very sweet to her.. May I know why the discrimination?!?On my complain to the manager that I didn't get any cuticles removed or anything, is that suppose to be a manicure he went and ask that lady in their language and told me even if u calculate it separately it will be the same price !!!! I'm not one who usually leaves reviews but I felt like this was significant and needed to be shared. I went to this nail salon because my usual place was closed for the day. My nail tech was pretty careless with my nails and rough, hitting the sides of my fingers with the mechanical filer a few times. The biggest issue though is that i got a gel manicure and the day after my middle finger was already chipped. Today is day two after the manicure and the same finger has chipped even further. I get my nails done so that they will not chip so this is a big problem and I am very disappointed. I will not be visiting this place again. My usual place I have never had any issue and they are not over priced like this salon. Read Less

Extremely poor service, by this one Vietnamese lady. Other staff seem to be okay.  She was rude, did not smile, did not acknowledge me, no type of proper greeting either, was rude, kept pushing my hand away forcefully & would not utter her English,......However it seems like she sure indeed spoke it.  This is the 4th  time I've gone here in the past 3 years ......& 2 out of the 3 times were bad experiences.  I don't get my nails done a lot - but when I go maybe  4 times a year for a gel nail polish -  I'm just going to stick to the Korean salon down the street as they are much more friendly, & have smiling faces.  I will not come back to this salon, as most of the staff & owner seem rude & lack proper customer service skills!  I usually tip well, but tipped low cause of her rude attitude.    Will never come back ever. I have been going to Vie Voo nails for over a year. Today will be my last appointment. I had an appointment with Diane for a french manicure. The french manicure started coming off the next day. She used a new gel top coat that didn't work. I called the salon advised them of the issue and made an appointment for today. When DIANE started my nails I showed her how the white was coming off. As she proceeded with what I thought would have been to airbrush the nails. She ended up doing a refill while I asked her several times why the nails weren't just being airbrushed. Of course what happens she wants to charge me for a fill in. Why would I get and pay for a fill in when I was just there a week ago. I paid the discounted rate but will NEVER return. Came in for a pedicure after work. They asked me if I wanted a manicure. When I was done with my pedicure I asked where I should go for my manicure and was told "We are closed" so now I can't get my nails in the same color. I was charged 45.00 for a pedicure which was not bad but very overpriced. I will never go back- there is absolutely  no way they should turn a customer away especially after 2 different people asked me if I wanted a manicure. I have been here three times so far.  Cons:The first time I went Nancy was my tech.  She was very nice, but she was very slow doing my pedicure.  While I enjoy a good pedicure, and wouldn't mind the extra time, this was a little too slow for me.   She also did my nails, and while it looked nice and neat I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years so I know what they should look like.  There were lumps where she hadn't smoothed down the acrylic.  Nothing noticeable to others, unless someone picked up your hand and looked closely,but I noticed it.  The second time was just for a polish change to the tune of $20. Talk about expensive.  The bottle of polish didn't cost that much and you are charging everyone that uses your polish $20 a pop.  A pedicure and fill with design cost me $65No spa Pedi's offeredPros:The staff seems to all be very nice, except the owner.  She is a bit rude. I inquired about a color on the color chart and she didn't want to answer me, but instead told my tech what she was saying. I've gone to this salon before, however today I only wanted on Nail fixed and they declined me service. The tech stated they were busy and I should come back later. There were 5 people in the salon and instead of asking me to have a seat and wait a few minutes she told me not now. I'm extremely disappointed in today's short visit. Over priced and poor quality. I had the IBD gel fill and the tech, Stephanie was fast and sloppy. She slathered my nail in gel, didn't leave it in the uv light long and the final product came out thick.Not pleased with my experience, based especially on the cost, an extra 5 dollars just for an accent nail color. I tried Vie Voo Nails for the first time after becoming dissatisfied with my current nail salon.  They were able to give me an appointment right away and my nails were done by Kim (I am not sure if that is her correct name). She sits right next to half wall. I needed a full acrylic set since I had cut my gel nails down.  I couldn't be happier! I was in and out in less than an hour and my nails look great!! I am a regular at another fantastic nail salon but since I was pressed for time and this place was the closest, I decided to get a mani/pedi here today. My general thought about businesses in the services industry is...customer satisfaction/good service is paramount; greet your customers when they walk in, slap a smile on your face, and eliminate the attitude.  The woman who serviced me must have been the owner or she just didn't like what she was doing for a living. She gave me attitude from the moment I walked in. She just had a bad attitude. During the pedi she didn't care to know what I wanted, when I asked her a question, she was not happy answering it, she was pushing, shoving, and pulling my leg. Once she finished my pedi, I told her I'd like to see which color (out of three) would look best against my complexion and she didn't like that. She asked me to place the plastic nails against my nail to see whether I liked it. Then when she started to work on my mani and started to file my nails, I mentioned I wanted a square edge on the nails and with attitude she says "see what I am doing! It's square!"I simply got up, said I will pay for the pedi, did that and walked out. I will never return.  Attitude and bad customer service is unacceptable. Maria gave me an awesome manicure. She filed and polished my nails perfectly. My nails usually chip right away, but they haven't yet. This was my first visit, so I'm not sure how the other nail technicians compare. The salon would only earn a fifth star from me if they focused more on creating a relaxing ambiance for guests. Soothing music instead of chit chat among nail techs, maybe a few plants...there are lots of ways to make guests feel more pampered without having to spend lots of extra money. Read Less

Reasonable prices and fairly clean.  The tools were unwrapped right in front of me.  My manicure is just ok.  The person doing my nails was a little rough while trimming my cuticles.  My main problem was that his hands were dry, cracked and looked like he had been doing construction.  His nails were dirty and that's not a good look on your manicurist. This new nail salon in Somerset offers fantastic service, but most importantly a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that makes all patrons feel relaxed and at home. The staff are very personable with every customer while professionally providing the best mani/pedi. They offer so many options for customers including gel pedis, waxing and even partial-full body massages!!!
