I absolutley love this place and enjoy coming here all the time. New owners Fiona & Ray are very accommodating, helpful and ready to go out of their way to assure every client gets perfect service and happy with everythinig. I usually go there every 3 weeks to get spa pedicure with a gel manicure. Also I did eyelash extensions few time and Hannah did a great job. Fiona and Hannah are true artist and always making sure my nails are perfectly done and stay this way for 3-4 weeks. I love wide array of colors, finishes and designs they offer and able to execute. They never rush me and really take time to do a perfect job. I feel that service and professional level of design they can do on your nails is really the best in the area and for a very reasonable price. I had been to many nail salons in Fort Lee and in Manhattan but none of them make me feel so welcomed and offers such a great service for such reasonable price. I am lucky to have them few steps away from my home and always looking forward to my hours of pampering on a day off. Small family run nail spa with friendly atmosphere and great service. Owners and their staffs speak Chinese(native), Korean(they hire some staff who can speak Korean as Fort Lee is like a K-town), and English(limited but simple and easy to understand). The price is reasonable, too. Read Less

As any woman could agree to the unexplainable fear of a new nail salon, I too was sweaty palmed while walking into PB nail & Spa. However the customer service was so mind blowing, that I totally forgot I was nervous after seconds of being in the business. From the cleanliness, to immediate service all the way down to the reasonable prices, I was blown away. The work was so detailed and I didn't feel rushed at any point. The first time I came here, Tina did my gel mani, & for that, I am adding an additional star, because Tina was great. She took her time and very carefully did my nails. I was excited to finally find a place that did my nails well. Although I had to wait a long time (despite appointment), I was pleased.Fast forward two weeks, and I come back. Tina was unavailable. I waited about 20 minutes until a young man (owner/manager?) took my polish off. I waited another 20 minutes, watching someone who had come in while I was waiting for my polish to soak get her nails started & then finished. The young man then filed my nails & did cuticles. He did a terrible job filing, & left my edges rough. Finally, the young lady, Hana who finished the lady who had come in after me finally finished (20 min after that), & started working on my nails. She was talking to another customer the whole entire time she was doing my nails. By the time all was said & done, I was racing for the door, because I had been there so long and had to go home. Later that evening, I noticed how rough the  edges were and the polish was uneven in places. Also, there was a small space between polish & nail on one of my nails!!! No problem. I'll just live with it and not go back.Two days later, my nail polish oh my right thumb PEELED OFF on the top. Nail didn't break, & I didn't bump it into anything (you have to do a lot to mess up gel--hence the reason I get it).I go back the following day to fix it, & despite only one other customer in salon, I wait 20 min to get my two nails fixed. That was on Monday. Today is Friday, & I woke up to the SAME two nails with the polish peeled off. Very, very annoyed. Been coming here every 10 days for gel mani. I usually don't even last 10 days. I can't stand the look of nail polish riding too high above the cuticle line and my nails grow super fast. Tina is a 5 star nail technician - she's patient, kind, and extremely detailed. Gel manis done by others have chipped more often than not in just a couple days. Hers hold up for the whole 10 days and probably would more if I wasn't so ocd. I took off a star because this place needs a serious face lift. The machines, tools, and furniture are all soooo old. It's $30 for a gel mani and I usually give about $8-10 tip, so a $40 every 10 day for nails ain't bad at all!I've gotten my pedicure here before but I am generally against getting pedicures (again, OCD). They did a good job but they should get more color options - the wall of polishes are smaller than most (for both gel and pedi). I haven't tried getting a design yet - I'm generally short on time and the 1 hour and 10 mins average in getting a gel mani is already too long for me. Anyway, I make an appointment ahead of time to see Tina. I've waited over an hour on one occasion before and that was gruesome - never again. Read Less

Apparently the owner, Ray made a mistake in scheduling my appointment. I waited 10 minutes and was never acknowledged, greeted or spoken to by either Ray or his wife, Fiona. The manicurist finally informed me of an error and asked if I could "come back later." I left and would never return. The owners are poor business people; instead of apologizing and explaining their error, they chose to ignore the customer of three years. They lack business skills and professional courtesy and their business will suffer because of it. Read Less

Shant (not sure if I am spelling her name correctly) and Hannah really understand nail care and mani/pedis. They never rush, and they listen to their customers. I have sensitive cuticles and my nails are thin. Shant and Hannah take care to smooth my nail edges and push back cuticles gently.  There have been a couple of times when I have been too busy on weekends to come in for my weekly appointment, and my manicures still look pretty good even after 11 to 12 days. If you want a creative look, they do beautiful as well as whimsical decorations.PB Nail & Spa is also exceptionally clean. This is a nice enough place. I stopped by, because I was in desperate need for a mani/pedi, but my regular salon was closed for vacation. They were able to take me immediately as a walk-in. Decent selection of colors, though it seemed as though they hadn't been replaced in a while, because many were half full.The pedicure was nice, they do a complimentary paraffin wax treatment for your heels as part of a standard pedicure.The manicure was fine, as well. But when I looked closer, I did realize that there were a ton of air bubbles in the polish. They were small, but I still wasn't thrilled.They also have a TV in the salon, it's muted with subtitles, which people may feel differently about. It was tuned to Judge Judy, meh. But I kind of liked that they provided something to do while your hands are out of commission.That and for a mani/pedi was packaged together for a "holiday deal," so it wasn't quite as expensive as some of the other salons in the area. I tried this place out because my friends raved about how nice there designs and gel manicures were. my appointment was at 6:15 they made me wait until 6:50 almost 7:00 until I actually started. The lady who gave me a manicure was rude. The place was not that sanitary esp the pedicure tub. The lady who did my pedicure rinsed the tub off with water for like two seconds and told me to sit..... No soap and scrubbing........ They also use like reusable foot scrubs .... not disposable ones. I won't be coming back to this place.. Read Less

This place is a joke!!Basicallly this is a waterless pedicure unless you get the $70 package.  The pedicure I booked just included a gel polish change for $40..  Add $10 for callouses and if you want the leg massage with water in the sink below, that is the deluxe.The manager has no personality at all, was extremely negative when telling me what my pedicure included and did not include.and  they only booked my pedi amd did not include my manicure.  They did not apologize and asked me if I wanted to come in the next day. Went to get mani & pedi after work. Place is quite small but was packed. Since I did a walk in, she asked me to wait for about 20 mins.  Had a standard pedi & gel manicure done.  I am pretty particular about how they clean the cuticles and let's just say I was pretty satisfied with the outcome. Brought my own color for the toes and got a simple clear with gold glitter gel for may nails. Everyone was busy. Everyone was nice. Price was a bit higher than I anticipated ($55 for gel & pedi) but I didn't mind paying it since they accomodated me when I walked in at the end of the day. Read Less

Never coming here again!  Been coming here for 12 years, (although other owners).  I had a manicure this past Saturday, don't know his name.  Dirty...dirty, I have had manicures and pedicures for over 30 years, and I swear this is the first time anyone has ever gouged my cuticle.  Funny, how it just happened to bleed after he gouged me!!  He tried to blame me that I did something to my cuticle-what?- he is guilty right there.  He then buffed my nail and the blood spread all the buffer and tools.  How do I know they were even clean to begin with.  Now my finger is red and swollen and it hurts like something I have never felt before.  Common sense about blood -  Hepatitis, HIV, etc...did you ever hear of that, and never mind me or others - what about yourself just "playing" around with my blood - not that I have anything, but you must do this with everyone and he puts the buffer back in his drawer! Later, he tried to stop the bleeding with the green liquid medication and was contaminating the tip of the bottle with my blood, he just kept pushing and pushing the tip into the cut and the blood was getting all over it.  Also, you are suppose to let the blood and germs come out, not push them back in. Didn't wash his hands or anything, gross, no wonder people are spreading germs and getting sick in general.  Also, on a side note, it stunk in there of food odors so bad, I hate cooking odors, especially in a place that is suppose to be a clean environment (well, no, not here), doesn't anyone ever open their windows or doors anymore?I am reporting this to the State of NJ. This place sucks. Im a nail tech myself and recently moved from a different state to NY. My mom and I came here for the first time for some good mom and daughter pamper time. This is NOT the place to go when u want some good service. This is a Korean shop and prefer a korean shop cuz they seem to be cleaner even if their prices are higher I dont mind that. The technicians are rookies and the owner with fake lashes is super rude like shes on PMS or something. I cant believe how she didnt even bother with my cuticles. She was so bossy and talked sh*t about groupon customers with other technicians. She didnt sanitize her nipper she used on her customer before me. They werent even busy but she had 3 techs rotating on my manicure and it was so freakin frustrating. Do not go this place. Read Less

Trying to redeem a groupon they would not honor!!!Because they said we have been there before! Yes, was there with a friend before but I purchased the first time and my friend purchase the other groupon and they will not accept!!! And if you are a walk in customer they will say 5-10 mins they made a customer wait 45 minutes and the the customer walked out very upset without getting her nails done!!! Read Less
