One star because it's necessary for a review. I needed my nails done for an event. The wait was "15" min as the 2 women working were taking care of other clients simultaneously. Once it was my turn Kelly soaked my nails then went to another customer. She trimmed my short nails with what seemed like unclean equipment leaving my cuticles bloody. She did not file my nails correctly and the result was a hot mess. She quickly applied gel color that came out in globs. I politely asked if she was going to fix it. Yet she responded to put my nails into the light like the light would magically fix this disaster. Once done I put my nails to her desk light pointing out the disaster. She said For me to come back later to fix it free. I will never return to this "wall-mart for nails" I peeled it off myself and painted them on my own. A giant waste of money!! Read Less

I literally have jagged edges. Like a serrated knife. And that was after asking her multiple times to fix them. I have multiple band aids on. And I kept asking her if I could go wash my hands because of the blood and open cuts and she just kept filing and ripping them further open. I had to rip my hand away from her to wash my hands. My daughter went here the day before prom to get an acrylic full set w/ gel. Her experience is exactly like everyone else who wrote a review here. PRice in the window clearly said $20 for a full set., but she was charged $40. I guess gel costs $20 extra? Technician was rude, snippy, cut daughter's cuticles twice. The nails were way too thick and started to lift the next day, and a few were actually crooked. Don't go here!! Wish I read the reviews before she went. Read Less

Never have I posted on yelp before , but this salon warrants it. I went two weeks ago to have an acrylic set with French gel polish put on. She cut 4 fingers, when I asked her for round she said square was better and that today "we do square". I had to basically force her to make them somewhat round. Grand total 45 dollar! Even though the front window states a full set of acrylic was 25, you figure adding gel polish at most would raise the cost 10 dollars, but I paid and left. Today I very stupidly went back in for a refill because it's right by my gym and was convinient , never again. She AGAIN cut two fingers with her tools and squared off my nails. Grand total for a refill, 40 dollars this time!!!! How could it be 45 to orgininally put them on and now 40 to refill. I said 40?? The sign says 20 for a refill, she said 40! I amChalking this up to her thinking I'm young and stupid and that she can make up her own pricing to take my money. No tip for her. Unbelievable please don't give them business, I know I won't! I  needed to find a new nail place and decided to try this one out. My sister and I got gel manicures, mine lasted pretty long so I have no complaints but my sisters chipped the next day. My biggest concern about this place is the hygiene. I work in a microbiology lab so I don't get grossed out easily but this place had me worried. First, the woman who did my nails stopped in the middle to cut her child toenails...fine but she came back to me and didn't even wash her hands! Also, the little bowls that you put water in to soak your nails were not clean. They fill them up with regular tap, soak your nails and then when they are done they dump the water out and out them back on the shelf and reuse them. No soap. No hot water. Gross. Read Less

Horrible. Nail broke the day I got it done. Princess nails of Flemington tried to fix their horrible job by adding more gel which saved me for a week than all my nails broke and ripped. Horrible place super expensive. Princess nails of Flemington lasts me 3 weeks this place didn't even last a day. Read Less

I wish I could put a zero star rating. The nail technician cut my cuticles so short that I began to bleed. This happened twice, once on my toe and another time on my finger. On top of that, my nails were filed unevenly and there were still hangnails on the sides of some nails. Obviously I was not pleased with the final result and when it came time to pay I said that the pedicure was fine but the manicure was unacceptable and there should be a discount. The nail tech said she would give me a five dollar discount. Are you kidding me? After saying that I would gladly remove the polish right there to avoid paying for the botched manicure she told me that I would have to pay MORE if I wanted to remove the polish there. Side note: I've worked in very demanding customer service jobs and I know how hard it can be. Please know that I NEVER try to start any problems with someone working in the service industry but this was ridiculous. What a horrendous experience!! While I appreciate that they were relatively clean and took me as a walk-in, it took over an hour for JUST a gel manicure and my nail technician was ABSURDLY rude! I've never had someone act like such a jerk and then still expect a great tip! My nails were not even, they weren't filed well and the gel was lifting in less than 3 days. The price was OK, but by no means cheap. If I'm paying you for a salon service, I expect you to at least pretend you're pleasant and I expect it to last more than just a few days. Next time I'll have to just drive the extra 20+ minutes to literally ANY other salon! I would not return here if they were GIVING AWAY free services! Read Less

The nail tech had an attitude as soon as I sat down and said I wanted a regular mani rather than the gel mani that she was pushing. Sure, they took me as a walk-in for a regular manicure (mind you I was one of 2 people in the entire place) but boy, did they make it obvious that I was inconveniencing them.  Technician was extremely rude and didn't even do a good job (was painful in cutting my cuticles, zero hand massage and filed a couple of nails crooked which I didn't notice until I left).  Zero customer service...never going here again. Went here once for a mani-pedi and won't be back. Perks are its clean and accepts walk-ins. I paid $35 for a basic mani-pedi ( no gel/ French manicure etc), which is $10 more than I pay in Summit. The nail tech rushed through it and barley paid attention. My big toe clearly needed an additional layer and she just finished up.  She used the pumice stone primarily on the middle of my foot? And barley massaged my feet. After my manicure, I accidentally stubbed my finger and messed up the polish and she did the bare minimum to repair it and walked away. When I handed her a tip she didn't even say thank you. I will be trying other nail salons. Read Less

WORST service I've ever recieved getting a mani and pedi. Not only did I wait an hour (when there was only one other person before me waiting) but she was so rushed she cut off a chunk of my skin during my manicure. I hate to write bad reviews but I had such an awful experience here that I felt it was necessary to share with others. HORRIBLE SERVICE. They love to waste your time by not turning you away if they are understaffed or too busy. They'd rather make you wait for an unreasonable amount of time while telling you only "5 more minutes". This has happened more than once to me. It's extremely aggravating and unprofessional. They also had the nerve to charge me $12 for a "manicure" which only included soaking the gel polish off my nails. Never going back and I suggest you do the same.There are much better nail salons in the area than this one. Read Less

I don't like writing negative reviews, but if I can spare someone else my experience, it's worth the discomfort. I went to Nail Pro seeking a simple French manicure with gel, as I'd heard that this treatment can last for about 3 weeks. Alas, the manicurist was exceptionally rude and snarky, grunting at my attempts to make friendly conversation, then laughing with other employees in a foreign language. She repeatedly told me my nails were very short, and cut my cuticles so close they bled. I did not see any measures used to sanitize instruments, which made me a bit nervous. My nails did look very pretty at first. Unfortunately, the manicure started to chip after just 4 days, making it a very poor value for $30. Between this and the excruciatingly poor customer service, I'm afraid I would strongly discourage anyone from using Nail Pro. Read Less

If you're not looking for a quality manicure and want to get in & out and leave with some color on your nails this is the place for you. I recently had a manicure/pedicure at Nail Pro and found that the technician cut several corners in order to rush me in & out in addition to doing a sloppy job. Being a cosmologist myself and having both a full hair and nail license I know the business and can easily identify professional and quality service. Even with an appointment, you may have to wait for the technician which alone is unprofessional. However, on 5 28 09, I had an appointment with Kellie. I waited 50 minutes for her to finish up other clients which I had no problem with. Another client came into the shop, who had the same appointment time I had with the same technician. Although Kellie acknowledged my being there, she attempted to do the other client nails who arrived 50 minutes after I did. When I privately voiced concerns, Kellie continued to work on the client and asked me to go to another technician. I refused and the only reason she ceased servicing the late client was because the client became uncomfortable and also voiced concerns and suggested Kellie service me first! The client had to defend me! I will never go there again! Kellie gave me a $5 discount as compensation but she never once apologized. I guess that discount was her form of an apology. Read Less
