Would not even give a star if possible. Completely appalled at how I was treated here! Went in for gel manicure and reg pedicure. The girl that took me was rude right off the bat. No smile-nothing. Then she got annoyed because I asked her to cut my toes down a little more and she told me she can’t cut them anymore. I said I’ve had them much shorter before, so she proceeds to do that as roughly and crooked as possible, and then again as roughly as possible pushes back my cuticles. She then asked me about color for toes(which I had picked gel color for nails) but wanted similar for toes and told her this.So she says “well go get it”. At that point I was done and told her she was rude and asked to speak to manager who basically did nothing but say someone else could do them. So I proceed to wait and wait and wait and ended up walking out. I warn everyone of going here because upon further examination of my toes more closely- they are extremely crooked, there is dirt still under my toes and blood from her cutting so roughly. Thought I would try a new place because I needed my nails done in a hurry. I brought a simple design in that I found on Pinterest. The gentleman (if you want to call him that was somewhat rude). Despite the negative reviews, I tried this salon out anyway, and at first glance, it seems really nice. The inside is beautiful and spacious, it appears very clean, the host was incredibly nice, etc., etc. The lady who did my pedicure was super sweet and helpful with making suggestions with color choice so that a slightly transparent glitter polish I had picked out would appear more solid to match my nails. She took her time and only tried upselling once (which is a plus in my book), so I had a very relaxing time. Unfortunately, the polish job didn't last as expected. The 'combined' polish choice I mentioned above was only on two nails, so that wasn't the cause either, as I had issues with multiple nails. It's almost like maybe the polish they use is slightly too old and simply doesn't set as well? I'm not sure, but I ended up removing it myself less than a week later due to initial smudges and later, chipping. Read Less

Just got done at la chic about an hour ago. i Went in with a picture I found online that I liked. It wasn’t any thing super fancy. I showed the woman the picture and asked if it was possible. She said they did not have that exact color I wanted so I’d have to pick one of there’s that is similar, but other than that she said she could do them. I had no problem with picking a similar color, I liked the color I picked better any way. She started to do them and they look nothing at all how I had ask. I’m not impressed with them at all. Then it came time to do my eye brows and she hurried through doing them and you can tell. They don’t match any more, the one is now thicker and the other has a small bald spot that makes it looks squiggly. I’m going somewhere else to get them fixed. The lady who did my nails was super sweet and took her time but I'm highly disappointed with the outcome now. After I had taken a shower the nail polish started to chip off and I had chosen an OPI nail polish I had used before. Nails are eventually going to chip but not necessarily the first day.. Read Less

Loved this place! $20 for my color changing gel manicure with an extra $5 for the beautiful design on each hand. It did take a while to be serviced, but it was busy and only a few people were working, so just take that into account when you're planning your day. Overall, very happy. This is the biggest dump! There was a sign on the door advertising specials and the only reason I decided to try them out. During the cheesy pedicure in which she spent all of 10 minutes doing,she got up and left to go do waxing on a person who just walked in. After waiting 10 more minutes for her to get done, she came back and finished the pedicure. She barely did any filing or anything. Applying lotion and massaging was like 3 seconds. She said the sign that was advertised didn't apply to my service. When I told her that what she was saying and what was on the door didn't make sense, she said no salon would do it for that price.  Do not go to this place!!!!! You will be wasting your money! this place is just awful. i went there to get a full set and everyone was just so rude. the lady who did my nails was too busy talking on the phone to pay attention to my nails and now my right hand looks COMPLETELY different from my left. they're not even the same shape i wanted coffin shaped and she did that on my left hand but on my right hand they're like oval shaped. this place is awful i don't recommend at all. Save your money. Got a gel manicure and pedicure and work was just sloppy. Design work was equally poor.  I left there unsatisfied and ready to go have my nails redone elsewhere. After leaving I went shopping for a half an hour only for my thumb nail to look like the picture. I then had to go back to have it fixed and it still had an air bubble in it after she fixed it. Le Chic Nail Salon performs subpar manicures and pedicures. The male host who greeted us was the best part of the experience.. very personable and hospitable. 1. The nail color visualized on the tester nail was not the same color that ended up on my foot (it was supposed to be 'Perfect Peach', but ended up being a transparent babydoll pink instead of an orangish pink-- see images below). 2. The gel color and matching nail polish were not in fact matching. My sister got a brilliant neon coral on her toes (Pink Panther) and a lighter pink on the nails (see images below). We believe they thought it looked "close enough" and decided to try to sell it as the matching color. Fail. 3. My sister's manicurist did a very poor job painting her nails. I've never been so disappointed with a mani pedi ever!!! I went with a friend and she had an awesome experience... She was pampered and massaged by her girl... My lady literally just slapped lotion on me and my set looks so uneven. I was rushed for time so I went in and nobody was there at all. Yet she still rushed through everything. With family members that do nails, I still tipped her very generously, but when I had a little accident during the drying process she sucked her teeth at me. And she also said to her sister "she's fancy? She tipped me $15..." But still didn't want to do a good job. But her mother sat in a pedi chair and she spent and least a half hour on her. I understand that's her mom... But I am a generous paying customer. I wished I read the reviews beforehand. Doubt I will ever return, but my friends lady was pretty awesome (the Hispanic tech)... I will never go here again. I went once several years ago with family before a vacation and remember being unhappy, but being that it was several years ago I figured I would give it another shot. This happened today 6/23/14:I wanted a gel manicure which is typically faster than other types of manicures. Despite this fact, this was the quickest, most half-assed manicure I've ever had. The man spent 2 minutes filing and shaping my nails then had me stick my hands in a bowl of cold water to soften the cuticles. This made it quite uncomfortable when he pushed them back and removed them.I was not directed to wash my hands after the filing and cuticle cutting had been done. Further more, while he clipped my cuticles and removed dirt from under my nails, he dipped the tools into the bowl of water my hand my soaking in to remove the debris! I should have left then.The manicure stations don't have built in UV light spots to place your hands. To set the gel polish, there is a table-top device that he took off the floor and plugged in! Rude And Unprofessional. I went here years ago, thought I had a review for them, apparently Not. Trying to forget my experience. My girlfriend recommended this place , going to her wedding. Asked for airbrushing-french to be Exact.The guy in charge of airbrushing , told him what #, he painted some hideous thing on my nails. At this point , i told him that wasn't what I requested,.He said , oh , the number you want , top, not bottom..As they spoke Vietnamese, clearly Laughing at me, Right in front of me!! Beyond rude, And surprised still open, as they are the worse nail place, service, products were very cheap, didn't try to fix it, laughed & talked about me , as I was sitting there getting my nails done. 1-star-being generous should be Minus 10 Star.Be forewarned,WAnt good quality & service, This Would NOT be place for you, go elsewhere .They suck balls.!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!
