Came here for a gel mani and pedi left here eager to return.  The women who did my mani and pedi were funny, quirky, detail oriented and pleasant.  They gave me a loyalty card and told me if I have any chips within two weeks I can get it fixed hassle free.  I will be back and I recommended a friend. Should be no stars!!! I was visiting from out of town, but my daughter-in-law had just starting going to Nails 4 U. The owner pretended not to understand when I asked for a gel manicure. She upsold me to what she called "UV nails " - which were plain d Gel nails...which no one does any more. She charged me $60. I paid the fee - but less than a week later one nail on my non dominate hand had popped off. I went back in today, told her I didn't want these gel nails last week, showed her the damaged nail. Please take them off and give me a gel manicure.....what I wanted last week. She said OK, but then asked/charged me another $45. So, I ended up paying $105 for a gel manicure. Today, I went to 4 U Nails with my two daughters. My experience was great, however, my daughters's were quite the opposite. I was treated to my pedi first and then it was my 8 year old's turn. Everything was fine at first, until I left to get my manicure. When my daughter finally came over to get her manicure, she told me that the lady had rolled her eyes at her repeatedly. Next, was my 15 year old's turn. Her pedicure was great until I had to run out and pick up my son. When I returned after 15 minutes expecting for both my daughters to be done, I found them sitting under the dryer-neglected for 15 minutes. After they finally finished the nails my 8 year old smudged one of her nails. When I asked the girl to fix it nicely, she rolled her eyes. Of course, I had already paid and tipped very generously. Well, long story short - I am never going to this salon again. They treated my children and I disrespectfully. If you are okay with a good product but bad service this place is perfect for you. I'm very picky and after trying out several nail salons from Hillsdale, Park Ridge, Rivervale, Closter and even a place in Waldwick (!) - I found my new spot and nail technician: Dana. I get gel manicures and I'm particular about thickness of the polish and the straightness of the nail filing. It drives me crazy when the polish looks think and the nails are filed crooked. I know this seems obvious, but it's more difficult to find than you would think!Very clean and service gets better as they get to know you. Become a regular and you'll see the difference.You definitely need a reservation. I wouldn't consider walking in at all unless you have time to kill. Read Less
