Absolutely terrible!!! Made an appointment days in advance for a mani pedi and they were very rushed to get me out of the way for other customers and it wasn't even busy. The woman that did my pedicure caused an ingrown toenail from cutting too much. The manicure was horrible!! He didn't even soak my nails. I went with my mom and I was done 10 minutes before her and she started before me! I would give 0 stars if it were possible! If you want to enjoy a relaxing mani pedi go somewhere else. Read Less

I picked this spot because of the reviews, and wish I hadn't. There was nothing spa-like about the experience. My sister-in-law and I each had a mani/pedi. Both technicians rushed us along like we were on an assembly line. I have mani/pedi's all the time back home in KY and they take at least 90 minutes to 2 hours. These were done in 60 min! There was no massage....barely any work on the heels, rough spots...no pampering at all...just a rush job. The technicians were rude - especially mine! He was gruff, made sounds of frustration if I didn't move quickly enough, or place my hands the way he wanted them. Thank goodness I can go home to a decent nail salon. My sister-in-law - who lives here - says she will never go to Serenity again. My advice: spend your hard-earned $ elsewhere. Read Less

Have been here a few times, in the past have been pleased. But this time, the girl was very persistent trying to upcharge me to do gel instead of a regular mani. I persistently declined, I only wanted a regular mani. She was not pleased with my choice, telling me that my regular mani won't last, I continued to tell her I only needed it for one day for a bridal shower the next day. She said "it won't even last that long" REALLY? why are you providing services that won't last until TOMORROW?? I assured her it would be fine and I only wanted the regular mani. My nails looked great! I was pleased with how they came out. But the next day, I noticed the clear top coat started looking funny - it was turning blue over my pink nails! She didnt completely cover my nails with the top coat, so you can definitely tell that's what changed. She was right, they stayed pretty for a SHORT time, I felt like she did it on purpose. Serenity is the only salon I'll go to. PT does my nails perfectly. I get stiletto nails which can be challenging with some nail people because either they make them too rounded or force me to leave them too long. PT does exactly what I want and I won't go to anyone else. To all the people saying they are a 'nail factory' and get as many clients done as possible.. You need to make an appointment. This salon is usually very busy! PT sometimes takes up to an hour PERFECTING my nails. I've never felt rushed here. When you become a regular with one manicurist AND make an appointment, they will allot the appropriate amount of time for you. As with anywhere, appointments are prioritized. For an acrylic fill and gel polish, the amount I pay is so minimal for the perfection I receive. I HIGHLY recommend PT if you like to stay on trend. Read Less

I've been to several nail salons and have never been as happy and satisfied as I am here! My nails ALWAYS come out looking fabulous! All the staff there is amazing, kind, pleasant and great at their job. They are helpful in picking out colors, have creative nail designs and style. I've been a client at Serenity since shortly after they opened almost 8 years ago!  I've been consistently treated well there & am always happy with my service (and on the one occasion that I wasn't, it was made right) and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.At one time or another I've had appointments with most of the staff and they always take great care of me.  I've had gels, gel polish, regular manicures, pedicures and waxing.  I've also referred a number of (now) long time regular clients.  I'm always happy with my nails before I leave - their knack for nail art is wonderful! -  and I always look forward to my next friendly appointment, with not only the staff, but the other clients. Felt inferior in this place. They scrubbed the arch of my foot so hard I bled. That's not a problem area either. When I got my manicure she put my nails on the towel and there was someone else's nail clippings on it!!! Where is the board of health in this town?? I asked for a new towel and got a bad attitude. Went for a pedicure with my sister and niece and it was fine. Whatever you do- don't get waxed there!!! I got a simple eye brow wax, and the next day I woke up with an insane breakout of pimples from the wax. They did not wipe my skin clean before the wax either to remove any oils or makeup. I went 3 times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt..... I got a gel manicure the first two times, they each didn't last a week. Third time I did a traditional manicure/pedicure - even though I had an appointment it was very rushed, probably the worst mani/pedi I have ever had and now I have an infected toe. Horrible. I have been to Serenity many times to get a pedicure because it is fair priced, and I have had more bad experiences than good.  I notice that most times I will get put into a chair for a pedicure and will be completely finished before the person next to me, who had been there before me.  They skimp on buffing, massages, and seem to get angry when they ask if I am getting a manicure as well and I say "No."  If I am paying for a pedicure, I expect that I am given the same amount of attention and time to my feet and toe nails as anyone else who is getting the same service as me. I've lived in Clinton for 8 years and have never been here until today!I walked in without an appointment and was taken right away.  I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure for $45.  The salon is clean and bright.  Staff is friendly and efficient.Yes, it's a bit more pricey than the other salons in the area, but not by much.  The best part is the salon has taken the time to match regular nail polishes with the gel nail polishes, so it's super easy to select your colors!  No other nail salon in the area does this, and for this convenience I'll gladly pay a few dollars extra!I will definitely be coming back! I made an appointment to get my nails done here (as did my mother) the day before my wedding.  We were told by my mother's hair dresser that this place did great work.  Upon arrival, we were both coerced into getting gel polish, because we were assured it would last.  I wanted something natural on my nails for my wedding day, but ended up with pepto-pink, which is definitely not what I was going for.  The tech who did my mother's nails did a nice job, but I was not satisfied with mine.  Aside from the color being terrible (and I'll add that this is what the tech assured me would look "natural", I did not choose the color), there was bubbling under the polish upon drying.  By the next day, it was already lifting, so obviously, something went wrong with the process.  I wouldn't return to this location. I was disappointed with my experience there. After reading the reviews, i thought this would be my new nail spot. The salon itself is nice. Pretty clean, and there are a lot of stations and full staff. However, the nail polish selection was small compared to other places I've been. I think what turned me off was the person doing my pedicure. I went to this place because of the great yelp reviews for $63 I got acrylic french tips and waxing with 20% tip included!! I went here for a "girl's day" with a couple of my old college roommates. I've never been here previously, but it was equidistant from all of us, so we decided to meet there. The salon was able to sit all of us together for pedicures and manicures so we could catch up and it was quiet and did not have that horrible nail salon smell.
