Very excellent service, friendly staff and affordable prices! They also provide complimentary beverages for all of their guests. I just moved here from Virginia and this was the first nail salon I stopped by at, I was very satisfied with my nails and they used a very good brand of dipping powder SNS, my nails lasted a very long time. My friend and I went here because we wanted to see if there were options to have nails done for a cheaper price since it seems like customer service is always a variable whether or not you pay more. Anyway, we found this one was still open and came in almost half an hour to close and it was PACKED with girls. The man at the front desk was initially nice enough and listened when I told him what I wanted, and what my friend wanted as well. He gave us some swatches to look at and then sat me down in a chair to start removing my gel polish. My friend sat up front. After some time I asked him if she could sit next to me when she had her manicure done, he said sure, and beckoned her over and we both looked at polishes and decided on our colors. Then a lady and her customer needed the chair my friend was in and sent her away, and moved me to another seat. The lady that actually did my nails took a long time, she wasn't friendly, she didn't talk much, and out of the nearly 20 girls in the store, only my friend and I were black, so of course she made me pay first, when all the other girls got to pay after their manicure was done, so by then I was already annoyed and embarrassed by the blatant racism. I wanted a design too but since she made me pay without asking me what I wanted first, she missed out on that opportunity.After waiting for to do a really average manicure I noticed no one had yet beckoned my friend open. Ladies were leaving. Chairs were open. So I asked my manicurist who was going to do my friends nails, and she had the AUDACITY to look at me with a blank face like, "oh, she wanted her nails done too?" UH, YEAH!! We both came in and said that. The guy at the front desk defends himself saying that he thought she was just my friend tagging along and wanting to look at the polishes, because yeah, girls come in all the time and do that for no reason. She even literally told the guy what color she wanted. The other hostess lady tried to appease my friend by offering to get her nails done but by then it was already past 8 and my friend was over it. I was so disgusted by the attitude that the guy gave my friend and I suggesting it was our fault when he should have just apologized for wasting her time or at least staying quiet, that I quickly left when the nails were dry, with a dry tip for the girl as well. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. EVER. PS - The nail color options are bland, they aren't OPI or anything, I saw a few Kiara Sky but most seemed like sketchy, off-brand polishes.PSS - They charge you more for using a credit card and don't let you tip on the card either. This is usually a place I would go with a friend to get our pedicures, and we usually love it there. This last time though we were told to come back in a half hour, so we left and came back and then we were told to come back in 2 hours. There were 2 people that came in behind us and they were told to go pick out a color for pedicures. My friend and I were extremely disgusted with this. Read Less

I am new to the area and I haven't had my nails done in a long time.  I wanted to find a place close to my house.  I read so many reviews and it wasn't until someone said that they should have gotten their nails done here because a friend had a great experience.  So I decided to go and get a gel mani/pedi.  The manager was really nice and the girl that did my nails LENA was great.  Even though the place was starting to get crowd, which tells you that they do good work, she did not rush me through.  She did a fabulous job and I will continue to go back. La Bella is great! Hannah and the girls are always so nice to me, they always squeeze me in even when they are busy. You can see how hard they work and they always do an amazing job. Manager is very nice, offers water etc. the girls look overwhelmed though. They r busy and you are just another 50$ for them, so they will try to be done with u asap and move on. My girl was irritated when I could not make up my mind about the color.Have to edit review once again because I had the worst experience ever there!!!! I went for a gel manicure, place was empty. most of the girls were free. I started looking at colors, I new that I haven't made up my mind about the color, so I wasn't rushing to the chair. however the girt insisted I sit in the chair so she can start taking my old gel off. I picked the color quickly, she informed that one they don't have. I picked another combination of 2 colors, they did not have one of them. she started suggesting color options to me that were ridiculous (I told her I can not have bright colors because of my job). she was very irritated, she told me: "you know we can't wait that long, you have to pick color before u sit in my chair" . that was so rude, especially that salon was empty and she told me to go sit down while I was still looking at colors. that is actually the same person who I mentioned after my first visit.OTHER ISSUE is cash price is different from credit card. they say that they have to pay fees to credit card companies !!! on top of that they can't add tip on credit card(BOTH ARE NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!) So the girl that was doing my manicure asked me to use ATM around the corner to pay cash/tip. I said that I'm not using that ATM because I will end up with $6 ATM fees. she kept saying: go ATM ! go ATM (which means get cash, I want my tip). Read Less

I went to Bella Nails for the first time this past weekend, on Saturday. I have gotten gel polish for years so I am very familiar with how long it typically lasts on my nails which is 2-3 weeks. I found that they did not have a lot of gel color choices so I went with a french because the colors were so limited. When I left the salon, my nails looked great. By Monday, my polish is already lifting off of my nails. I have already had to cut where the polish has lifted. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. Read Less

My boyfriend's mom treated myself and her daughter to a pedicure Saturday afternoon.  The pedicure itself turned out great; the nail color is nice, they had a good selection of colors, the woman doing it didn't cut my skin or anything.  However, the woman who was doing my pedicure was incredibly rude to me.  She sat me down and asked if I wanted a manicure as well and I replied with no thank you.  She then asked if I wanted my eyebrows waxed (I recently had nose surgery and have stitches at the top of my nose, very noticeable as there is gauze sewn to my face) and I said no thank you.  She then proceeded to push me by telling me I NEED to get it down and asked me two more times.  I told her I have stitches and can't have anything pulling at my face and she told me she would tweeze.  If someone says no thank you, it means no.  She proceeded to do my toes and at the end she asked if I wanted a pattern painted on my big toe.  Unfortunately, I could not hear what she said initially and had to ask her to repeat herself.  I couldn't understand her again and apologized and said I was having trouble hearing her...she replied with laughing out loud to the girl doing someone else's pedicure.  I did NOT appreciate being laughed at or being spoken to in this manner.  The only reason she received a tip was because my boyfriend's mother did not know this had happened and gave her a tip.  I will not be returning to this location.  The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the pedicure itself turned out nice, but the service was awful. My BFF and I stumped upon labella after first king to Lyly down the road and inexplicably finding it closed.  From the outside it certainly doesn't look like much.  It's located in the middle of a semi-abandoned strip mall, and still boats a Hurricane Sandy-induced giant hole in the ceiling.  In the inside it doesn't seem any different than a regular nail salon either.  The only thing I know is that I have beer often a manicure like the one I had here.  Usually my polish chips the next day. I've made peace with that. But this time around my manicure lasted completely chip free for two weeks.  I don't know hat kind of lack magic they dabble in here, but I'm a believer! Labella will certainly be my new go-to spot when I need a mani with staying power. Read Less

Perhaps my search is over!  Since I moved to the area, I have tried several different nail salons, including one within walking distance from my house.  La Bella Nails is a bit more of a drive (um, approximately 4 minutes), but is worth the effort of starting the car.Unless I'm already clad with my usual coffee, I'm offered a complimentary bottle of water.  All of the technicians are very friendly.  I have seen someone different each time, but my manis and pedis always last a decent amount of time without chipping.  I've also gotten gel manicures with no issues.The only negative about this place is that a lot of the polish bottles are missing their labels.  Since the choice between two colors often comes down to the name for me, this is a kind of annoying.Still, it's a great little salon for some quick drop-in pampering.
