After hearing bad things about this place, I went in with an open mind. First off, prices were very high, $30 for a basic full set and $30 for the most basic pedicure. When getting on my acrylics, the guy repeatedly hit my skin with the drill which hurts! Then proceeded by terribly painting them (I could have done a better job myself). Next came the pedicure which was the worst part. It was close to closing time so they were rushing, the guy didn't ask my how the water felt or anything just shoved my feet into lukewarm water. Water that he did not put any of the antibacterial stuff in that made the water blue which I saw at every other chair. The didn't even put a plastic lining in the soaker before filling. So basically my feet were soaking in plain old water that many others have probably used. When I left there I was disgusted and felt like I had just wasted $70 (with rip) on something I could have done a better job at myself. Read Less

Worst gel manicure ever! First she thought that it was a good idea to take the prior nail polish off by just peeling it off... no alcohol or foil. She ripped my thumb nail off and I asked her to do it the right way. My nails came out like trash! Bubbles in the polish. Pooling off the nails and she kept touching the paint and painting over it. Then she decided to file my nails down again at the end when there was new polish on and now the skin is broken around my nails and painful. I almost didn't tip. I have been getting my nails done now for about 20 years.  For the past 5 years I have been going to Tina at Royal.  Everytime I have left people constantly compliment my nails.  She always does a little design on my ring fingers.  I also have had pedicures and all I can say is that it is the most relaxing (massage chairs are great) and they take there time.  Always there for at least 45 minutes.  I would highly recommend this place. First time customer and I will definitely come back! Even though it was a busy Saturday my technician took his time and did an amazing job! I got shellac nails and they came out fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is that it's a little bit of an older salon and could just use some updating but everything I saw was clean a neat and I should note they have convenient parking! I am not sure why this place gets bad reviews, it seemed fine when we went. They had 4 techs and they were all full so we had to wait 15-20 minutes but they were courteous and acknowledged us and got to us as soon as they could.The manicure came out great and the price is reasonable. I am not going to give 5 stars as it wasn't the 4 seasons, but it was a nail salon that is getting beat up and made me almost not go if it weren't for a personal referral from our host at a local B&B. I would have to say that this was the worst pedicure that I ever had. She barely did my cuticles, she never cleaned out underneath the toenails, she never buffed the nails to make them smooth. I also got the Calais remover that was an additional 10.00. She spent 25 minutes on my pedicure and the total was $40.00. I really did not enjoy my pedicure here I thought for sure that it would have been $12 or $15 dollars since we didn't spend more than 15 minutes having our pedicure actually done. I assumed (my fault, I understand, that perhaps there was a a cheaper pedicure option as opposed to the $30 spa pedicure)  I was stunned when I was told each of our pedicures came to $33.00 each !They barely soaked our feet, the person performing my service cut my cuticle and it hurt, while the other person working on my friends feet cut her cuticle and there was a bit of blood.  They barely tried scrubbing our calluses.  They put lotion on our feet, they was no cuticle treatment other than to cut them off, and they barely massaged our legs at all.  I was incredibly disappointed in my experience and will not go back here.If it had been just one thing, I may have considered trying them again but not with all they didn't do.I have had many, many pedicures in my life and this was not the very worse as the painting portion came out decently but other than that, not worth it. I have been here on two occasions. The first time I got my acrylic nails put on. This is the first and only time I have had my nails done so I can't really compare, but my experience was great. They were efficient and my nails lasted awhile.I recently had a pedicure done as well and was pleased with the results. They got us right in and were very pleasant. Read Less
