I showed the older lady a pic. I asked for acrylic but she did dip powder. It took almost 2 hours and I could tell she was talking about me to the other ladies, laughing, being rude and fake af. My nails looked so bad and the quality wasn't there. She charged me to take off my old nails. A full set was $60. I used to love coming here religiously with my mother and my friend. When it first opened, they cared so much about their customers and I was always so happy with the final result. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be coming back here. The last few times I have come in I have left very unsatisfied. The staff doesn't care about their customers anymore. I feel rushed and I often leave with poorly painted gel nails, only to chip a few days later. I went for a pedicure last week, it lasted about 20 minutes total and I was rushed out by the man who did my nails immediately after which resulted in me smudging the polish. Today, I went in with my mother and sister for a manicure and after an hour of waiting, they took my sister and I, but by the time we finished, they still had not gotten to my mom so she left. My nails are jagged and rough, he did not do my cuticles properly, I felt rushed, and my nail polish is uneven. So disappointing compared to what it used to be like :( Now we have to find a new salon to go to. Read Less

Disappointing experience today at Ideal. After sitting down gentlemen did not speak more than 5 english words to me. He and his colleague spoke very loudly in Asian language most of our time there. They were so loud I could not hear my daughter. I liked this salon as they are usually caucasian friendly. Not today, very disappointing. Read Less

I used to go here all the time but it had a different owner the last three times I have been there with the new owners have been a big disappointment I just went this week on Wednesday and on Thursday my fingernails were chipped and peeling this is the third time this is happened. The first two times I thought OK I'm up at the lake and I'm in the water so it is my fault that the polish is coming off within days so this time I figured I am not going up to the lake I'll get my polish done on my nails and see if it lasts. The very next day my index finger nail polish was wearing off the next day on my other hand  -two fingernails had the polish coming off and I cannot blame that on being in the water all the time at the lake.  Also I agree with the last person they did have a price increase that they do not tell to you aboutI am going to go back today and have them fix my nails and once they're done I am going to tell them that I am not returning due to this being the third time this is happened there!!!! I think they do a really nice job and the atmosphere is very nice/clean/calming. What really grinds my gears is when nail places suddenly decide to change their prices, DESPITE what they price sheet says. Two weeks ago they had a signature pedicure for $25 on their paper price sheet. I went in yesterday to get one and suddenly the cheapest one was $35. Even the girl next to me spoke up and said "Didn't you used to have a $25 one??" and they lied right to her face and said no, that it was $30 what she was thinking about. A $10 price jump??? Every other nail salon does a basic pedicure for $25. What also ticked me off a little was how on both the old and the new price list, it say "shellac manicure $25." But she suddenly charged me $28 yesterday. I like this place but I'm fairly annoyed with them now. I may not return. Read Less

When this location first opened I was not impressed. I have been 2x in the last 7 days and both times had great experiences. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF which is wonderful to experience at Asian run salons. They were also happy to accept my credit card payment, many places really push you to pay cash. (I did tip in cash however.) Read Less

I had my first visit as a walk-in and was impressed. Had a manicure first but not enough time for a pedicure so returned the next day. Salon at both visits was clean and neat. Chairs comfortable. Staff polite and accommodating. Very professional and appreciative of my business. Other customers seemed happy. Two weeks later and polish still looks great. I'm going back! Read Less

This is a fine place for a mani or a pedi, but not somewhere I would come back to intentionally. The massage function of my pedi chair was broken (bad start), and the staff questioned my color choices a few times (I want what I want, sorry!). Ultimately the paint job was just ok, but not perfect.When I opted for a mani with no polish, they literally just soaked and trimmed my cuticles and put lotion on me. So sad and disappointed. I always had great experiences here and I was just promoting this salon to my friends. Walked in a few minutes before they close and was told that they would not help me out because they needed to get home. While I understand at the same time if it was my place of business I stay open and take customers till 5 minutes past closing time.
