The lady did a very sloppy job with putting on shellac it was uneven and bulgy, they used a dirty bucket with questionable tools and dirty grey towels to wrap around feet for “spa” pedicure treatments ... this place needs to be closed down and renovated. First of all, their website says they close at 10pm. Me and my friend called asking if we could come in around 8-8:30, and they said sure! So we came in at 8:30 and were greeted with rolled eyes and snobby attitudes. They then proceeded to not talk or make eye contact with us the whole time, only to yell at us to come earlier next time! I tried to explain the miscommunication with the website and apologize, and I got ignored. How professional.Second of all, my friend was finished with her nails a solid 30 minutes before me and this is because they drilled my nails down so little and thin for so long it took an entire appointment time, literally my friend was getting hers painted and I still was dealing with the drill.  My nails turned out okay after that, a couple misshapen nails but not a huge deal.  My friends nails however came out horrendous, different shapes and lengths so bad that she had to go somewhere to get them fixed within two days.Safe to say they lost two customers who could've been pretty regular, considering we both work across the street.  Will never go back! Was my first time going there. Went there to get dip color. Had an appointment at 5:15 got right in but I did not leave until 730. After I got home they didn't let the top coat dry fully and it left bubbles on my nails. I just think after sitting there for 2 hours I expected them to come out better than they did. Read Less

I have been looking for a new salon to get mani/pedis for a while now. I've been to other places based on recommendations from friends and family and have never been happy with the result. You know, crooked nails, lumpy polish, streaks and sometimes horrible looking cuticles. I had gone to another salon for a gel manicure before my vacation and the job  the lady had done was just awful. I was in the mall grabbing one final thing for my trip disgusted at my manicure I saw Purelux and thought why not. They took me right away. The guy was super nice and asked why I wanted a polish change on what looked like freshly done nails. I pointed out all the issues and he seemed to get my frustration and worked quickly. My mani came off with minimal effort, a horrible sign, and he helped me pick put a really nice color. This was by far the best painting job ever!! My nails looked amazing. About 3 weeks later I went to another salon that was a tad cheaper and I wish I hadn't. The manicure looked weeks old after she was done. I went back to Purelux and have not been disappointed. I make appointments now to make sure I get the same guy every time. It's worth the little extra money. Last time I had a broken nail and he fixed it no charge. Absolutely love them!! Read Less

Not pleased! I've been coming here for a few years now. I've been pleased with my services for the most part and never have complained. I went in the other day for a mani/pedi with a friend who was just getting a fill. The particular person that worked with me seem rather rushed by the incoming customers who I know most are walk-ins. He gave me a pedicure and did a full set of nails of nails(dip powder). These both were finished at the same time as it took my friend to get her fill. I was suggested to do the dip powder stating it'll last longer. Less than a week after I notice they're coming up along the edges and two broke! I called and said when I had been in and they say come on in and they'd fix it for free. Upon arriving I had to explain the situation to three people before them deciding If I could indeed get these fixed. The woman that assisted me was rude and clearly talking about me in another language to other staff. I knew this because she was looking directly at me making eye contact and speaking in her language. I most certainly plan on finding a new salon going forward. Came in today with my mother for my first pedicure since my one and only on high school and her first ever.  Fast and friendly service which felt thorough and very relaxing.  I don't know if it's standard practice or not, but they had massage chairs to sit in while you had your pedicure done, and they very much had a positive impact on the whole experience. At the end, my toes look great!  Would love to come back and have it done again at some point. Read Less

I had my nails done here today checked in about 430 wasn't seen until about 515 other clients were seen before me even though I checked in. I asked if they could do a gel manicure meaning gel nails not nail polish they said that they did. After they started doing the nails I noticed they're putting on acrylic powder on I sat in silence with disappointment but thought oh well. she asked if I want rounded or square and I told her I wanted an in between but definitely not square.... I ended up getting full square nails even after saying more round. Ok, it's fine I thought I will file them down. And then she began to polish a base coat so dirt would not show through my nails and then a sparkly coat. Another client walked in she began to rush only putting one coat on nothing like the demo nail that they had Showing how beautiful it could be. I then spoke up that's not what I asked for explaining how I wanted the same as the demo now she then told me there's too many coats it will chip off. Unsure of what I was supposed to do ask her to shave it all off start over? So I asked for another coat she put it on and it still looks terrible. I'm not a person that will speak up for myself when I got home I noticed it look like I already needed a fill on my nails from the huge gap in between the nail in the cuticle bed its very noticeable. She didn't clean off the chunks of acrylic powder underneath the nail tip. I gathered up the courage inside me and called them asking for a refund that I just was not happy and I didn't want them repaired due to the quality of work. She said that I would have to come in to fix that they don't do refunds that speak to her boss then I asked when the boss would be in she said I don't know you come in some other time and we fix and we bickered back-and-forth that I didn't want to come in to have them fixed I was going to go somewhere else she said there is nothing I can do for you come in and speak to my boss. I really don't feel like I'm being picky I didn't get a single thing of what I asked for and I'm out $45 bucks and I'll have to go some where else. Rather disappointed. Read Less

Honestly I've never been to a better nail salon! First off it was very quick turn around time from when I walked in to when I got my appointment. Next I have never had such attention paid to my nails, and I've been to lots of different nail salons. Also they were so attentive to exactly what I wanted. My person was nice enough, but the pedicure I got was definitely not worth the money and not the least bit sanitary. I watched how they barely sprayed something after my pedi and re-filled the tub without scrubbing or anything for the next customer - disgusting!! Won't be back.  Went for a mani-pedi today and it was not a good experience.  Started out okay, but when it came time to doing my polish on my toes I started to become concerned.  The bottle, while looking like it was half full, must have been empty.  There was barely enough to wet the brush and she had to add something to make it more liquid.  I told her to just get another color similar, but she continued with the one I chose.  They turned out just okay.  Then the mani.  I specifically asked for nail hardener.  She, I assume, did not understand me and called the manager over.  He told me I don't need a hardener and not to do it.  What?  It's what I, the paying customer want!  So onward with just the topcoat and no hardener.  I'm getting seriously annoyed now, but decided to wait to see how the rest went before getting angry.  Yet again, problems with the polish!  It was either bad or she was terrible (or both is my bet) at applying it.  It came out streaky and "gloppy" looking.  I said something and again manager was called over.  I was told after 3 coats because it's pink, and then the top coat, it would look good.  I observed it was becoming thick and would chip easily.  He said no it's fine.  I was exasperated with them by his point and said just finish up and that I'd never be back again....and I won't.  Got home and the nail beds and cuticles look terrible and I had to peel off the polish that was all over my skin. We were walk-in's and when we go there it was packed. We were greeted right away and both of us only waited maybe 5 mins. My nail tech Emmy was nice and friendly and did a great job. I got French manicure gels ($35)and my mom got solid color gels($30). I will definitely go back again. Read Less

I have been to many nail salons and I was very impressed with PureLuxe Nails.  I loved how they have made it easy to select a nail color using the nail samples versus just looking at the bottles.  I got a classic pedicure and a shellac manicure and was very pleased with both.  My technician, Tuen (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong!) was AMAZING! I never felt like she was rushing through either of my services and she checked in with me to make sure I liked what she was doing.  The leg massage for my pedicure was honestly 10 minutes (I'm used to maybe a 3-4 minute leg massage)!  The salon was very clean, which is something I always look for when getting my nails done.  Their prices are fair compared to other salons and I will definitely be a repeat customer! While the salon was clean and staff was polite, the end result of my service was disappointing. One of the appeals of gel polish is that it's generally not significantly different looking than regular but lasts for a long time. One of the downsides is that if the technician isn't careful in their application, it turns into an ugly mess really quickly. The polish and topcoat was applied so thickly that it appears that I have acrylic nails, I found myself getting snagged on fabric because somehow there are rough edges, there was one nail where extra polish (both color and top coat) pooled in the nail bed and I've had to file it off, and multiple nails that only got 2/3 covered with top coat. I didn't love the way my nails were looking as I was leaving, but most of the issues were only apparent when I got outside in bright lighting. It wasn't worth trekking back through the mall for a fix since it really would've required a full soak off and reapplication.Top that off with charging several dollars more than my previous manicurist who has moved... Won't repeat. But as I said, it was clean, well organized, and the staff was friendly so it could have been a worse experience. Read Less

Very clean and organized salon. There is normally not too long of a wait if there is a wait at all. Staff is very nice, not very talkative, but nice. I've gotten my nails and toes done by multiple staff members and they all do great work.
