This nail salon is wonderful. I have a special needs son who I took for a pedicure and they treated him as any other client. He had a blast and is excited for his next visit. When I am in getting my nails done they even ask about him. That alone means a lot. All I have to say is good things about this nail salon ! I request Jimmy every time I go in and he is THE BEST NAIL ARTIST I HAVE EVER COME AROSS. For years I have looked for someone to actually check every single nail to make sure they are straight and all the same length and that is exactly what jimmy does he has always taken his time with me and had never hurt me or rushed my service the salon is very relaxing and professional and I definitely recommend EVERYONE GO THERE !... Hands down best nail salon I have ever been to. I started going here back in the fall while being a student at SNHU. I looked online and decided Impulse sounded like the best fit and I haven't stopped yet. Everything from the customer service to the cleanliness is always on absolute point. I believe I have had everyone who works there do my normal fill and color change and regardless of who does it, it's always perfect. After refusing to go back to my old nail salon, I needed to find a place I could trust. I loved  my nail tech but the atmosphere where I had been was not warm and friendly. Sadly you were just another walk in unless you were one of the head phone guys favorites. In my search I found a newly opened Impulse Nails. Walking in I actually got greeted with a smile even being five minutes late and last minute customer before closing. Who had mind you nails that were a hot mess due to a fall. My nail tech was educated on different ways to put on permenant nails, which I loved the choices. The fill I used was a colored powder that your nail slides into your chosen color then the nail gets tapped to free any loose powder. Repeat 2-3 times and your done. No light that burns like the dickens and less time. Care was taken to make sure my needs were met and I was offered bottled water. Conversation was welcomed which made the appointment very pleasant. This was my first time coming to the salon, which I based on all the positive reviews. The first guy who started on my nails had trouble shaping them to my liking and left some bubbles in the gel. He asked another guy, Dieter, to finish them and he did an amazing job! I think his name was nick. service here was very slow, they took forever. also the prices on the board don't match the website. i feel like they charged me more than what the sign said as well. I went in due to a broken nail and I was paired with jimmy. I found out new management took over four months ago. This place is awesome. I went here because a year ago I remember how good of an experience I had. Jimmy was so appreciative and kind. Very thorough and very detail oriented. I don't think I've had anyone who's been so invested in making sure my experience was top notch. I could tell he was happy and loved his job. Wish I found this place sooner. I should have read the signs when I walked in for a first time appointment at 11am on a Thursday and there were NO customers in the shop. A somewhat stout 35ish male tech was friendly enough and encouraged me to have a seat and get started on a basic mani/pedi. Toes went well, started the nails and I paid with my credit card, included a decent tip, before the final paint was done. For the first time EVER i accidentally nicked TWO of my nails on the way into the dryer. I apologized and man he got angry! He lost all sense of humor, accused me repeatedly of being impatient and DISRESPECTFUL of his work. I disputed his accusations and explained it was just a mistake only to have him plug his ears with headphones and ignore me completely thru the drying process. As he repaired my nails he complained that he hates working and his boss will take part of his tip because I put it on my CC. There was more, but you get the gist. It was awful. Just had the best mani/pedi that I've had in a while. More comes with the standard mani/pedi than most other places around, but it only took an hour for both. It was really clean, super relaxing, and the prices are right on point too! I never take the time to write reviews but I had the absolute best experience here. Just had my first pedicure at Impulse Nails. Very nice, clean atmosphere. I arrived around 3:30 Thursday afternoon and there was no one there. Was immediately greeted by I believe the owner and brought to one of their pedicure massage chairs. I chose a shellac color from the large selection they have. He was very pleasant and friendly. They offer water, soda, and wine while you get your pedicure. I just got a regular pedicure, which was $30, with shellac for an extra $10. The regular pedicure I received here was better than many "delux" pedicures I have received at other salons! It includes callus removal, exfoliating scrub, lotion, and hot towel. I am 8 and a half months pregnant, so my feet were quite neglected before stepping into Impulse Nails. He did a great job, and my feet feel absolutely fantastic. This is the best nail salon in the area. It's a very personal experience and John the owner works very hard to keep repeat clients. His work is guaranteed, and he does a phenomenal job.
