Worst nail salon I've ever been to! The customer service was the reason why. We made an appointment for 1 and they didn't start till 20 minutes later. Then it took an hour and a half for shellac nails. The reason it took so long because the person doing my nails would rather answer the phone 3 times and gift cards. I have been going to Crystal Nails for at least 5 years and I highly recommend it to everyone. Julie and her girls are very experienced and really know what they are doing. I just had a pedicure today and it was wonderful, especially with the massage chair on - it is super relaxing (in fact, I have actually fallen asleep before). I LOVE this place! I'm very picky about my nails and every single time I've had acrylics done, they have been fantastic! Julie, the owner, takes the time to get to know her clients! I hadn't been in in 6 months (just didn't have time) and she remembered everything about me! Yes, she does do everything there (answering the phone, taking appointments, etc) but in my opinion she has always been worth waiting 30 seconds while she answers the phone.  I went every 2 weeks for 8 months and she was ALWAYS been on time. I had gone to this place a few times because I used to live just five minutes away from it.  But I never had a great experience.  The woman who owns the place also does nails herself.  I have gotten her every single time.  And everytime my service is terrible.  I always make an appointment.  But if someone shows up just a minute before you arrive, they go ahead of you.  (Why do they bother accepting appointments?) I have waited over 20 minutes past my appt time in the past.  Another time, My sister and I showed up together (appt made again) and we got taken in at the same time.  I got the owner... my sister got a different woman. Although we had the same exact service done... my sister got out of there 40 minutes before me.  This is why:The woman that owns the shop will not only provide service to you... she will provide service to EVERYONE else too.  While doing my nails she was constantly leaving to answer the phone.  And left a few times to ring people up at the register as well.  At one point she even left to help the other employee with another customer.  And continued to sit with that customer for 15 minutes.  (I must add that she was a walk-in customer who arrived well after I did)  I was so mad.  The last straw for me was that she used a sparkly top coat on my shellac nails. I hate sparkles!  I was having french tips done for a wedding I was attending, and I was furious that she made my nails look childish with pink sparkles. I can't believe she didn't ask first!  (She had already done several nails before I noticed)Unless you get someone other then the owner... good luck to you.  You might be there all day.   I have to say though, my sister was extremely satisfied with her mani/pedi.  Any other employee is great.  Just pray the owner is busy when you arrive.
