I had a less than satisfactory experience here. I asked for acrylic nails and showed a picture of the shape id like. The shape was mistaken and I asked to simply correct it and it was not corrected nor politely taken. I left with a bad paint job (nail polish and glue all over my fingers), awkward asymmetrical nail shape, and a painful cut on my thumb. Read Less

For an inexpensive mani or pedi, Eternal nails is fine. Not great. Not horrible. Just fine. The shop is clean and they can usually make an appointment within a couple of hours. I'm not a college kid, so find its best to go here when UNH students are not around. Don't expect conversation with the service providers. $25 for a gel mani is the going rate for most places in the area. Read Less

:( These guys destroyed my nails. I have gotten tips put on for years and years and have never had to recover form the damage they did to my nails when they applied acrylic tips. It has been MONTHS and my poor nails are still in recovery and are sensitive due to the amount of healthy nail that was removed before the tip was glued on. When the french tips were new, even, there were visible lines on the nail bed from the times I had gotten my nails done and you could count them like the rings in a tree! It's really too bad because they are close. I'll be driving 25 mins out the the crowded mall next time. I had been doing that for years but was trying to find somewhere smaller and closer. Ah well. (Oh, and also- they are not good about walk-ins/same day appointments- I called and asked if I could come in and they said they were booked FOR THE DAY! I hardly believe that. Never seen more than 2 people in there at a time. They had me make an appointment for the next day instead.)Sorry, won't be back. Read Less

Let's begin by setting some boundaries: I'm a 30 something who isn't all that social & getting a regular ole manicure in a college town.I was promptly greeted & told I could be helped right away - I was.  In 20 minutes, I received a regular manicure from Kim, nails shaped the way I desire, with zero conversation & a brief hand massage.  All of this for $12.  With my $4 tip - I had hoped for some extra pizzazz but received nothing extra but then again - it wasn't my expectation since I hadn't received even hello from Kim. I didn't mind not being greeted by the manicurist - I wasn't feeling chatty either. (& she wasn't either since when other customers entered she barely let out a hello let alone one that made you believe she WANTED to be at work). This is the place for you if you're seeking fast, simple & inexpensive service without frills. Eternal Nails is fantastic. I've gone to Tommy and Kim since I was a freshman at UNH many (well not THAT many) years ago. Even though I've long graduated and moved back home to Boston, I still make the drive up to get my nails done because I can't find a place in Boston that does it the way they do my nails.  I suggest Tommy for nails and Kim for pedicures. From acrylics, to shellac, to nail art, to a regular mani/pedi, to pink and white, they've always done a flawless job for me. I'm quite picky when it comes to my nails but Tommy always nails it, getting the shape just how I like it. He always recommends good colors too. Tommy's pink and white technique is great. You know how some salons' pink and white just look like regular acrylics? Tommy actually creates different shades of pink powder that you can choose from to choose your shade of pink be it darker or lighter. They're prices are definitely lower than what I would normally pay around Boston and they do a better (and cleaner) job than other salons. They've always been accommodating to me when I call to make an appointment the day of. Read Less

Very nice staff, but I was disappointed in my nails. I got a fill in for my acrylic nails I had done previously somewhere else. Going here was more of a last resort. When I showered hours later, the nail polish on 3 of the nails completely peeled off. I don't know why, if that was something they did or my shower did? Not really sure, but it was hours later so I don't see why the shower would make a difference. I never had that happen when I've gotten my nails done at other places. I wouldn't go back. Read Less
