I went in today to get my set off and get a manicure. I explained I was on my break yet still she offered me a pedicure. I said I’m not sure I don’t have time. She said it was quick..45 mins later she finished I explained I was 30 mins late now and couldn’t get the polish on my nails. She charged me for the pedicure, nail removal and manicure even though she didn’t finish. I did trip her generously but that is the last time they get money from me. So yea you got more money from me this visit but since I won’t be back you lose a whole lot more. Not smart business practice. Read Less

Came here once before and actually was please at first. Got acrylic nails. They lasted for about a month or so before they started lifting. It was a good deal only $$30 usual price. Went here about two weeks ago to get another set of acrylic on and they only lasted about a week and a half before they started lifting!!! They just started to pop off. They shouldn't be doing that! Brilliant experience! Friendly, accommodating and quality work! Recently moved and in search of a salon after having my nails destroyed from sampling others and playing outdoor extreme sports. After having a bad experience at a salon in the area I had to call extremely late and they invited me without hesitation. They took the time and stayed late to redo a full acrylic set in order to fix my nails. I truly appreciate how accommodating, sweet and genuine they were, on top of having quality work! Thank you! My daughter and I had a nail appointment to get some fun Halloween designs this past weekend... Well my nails look awful. They are not even or shaped properly and some of my nails are crooked. I went here for a while. But after my last visit I don't think I'll be returning. I get acrylics, now the first few times going here, they were amazing, I absolutely loved them. Then thus last visit I go back and I felt like I was rushed on, everyone else was being talked to, pampered and here I was sitting akwardly. I'm no professional but I knew these were messy and not done right. Still none the less i was polite and STILL tipped 10 bucks. After 3 days my left index finger... lost its nail. I was simply putting pants on and it popped off like a press on. Not long after the rest popped off one by one. I gave up. I don't want to go back and get my nails done just yet because I want to give them time to grow out, but I will DEFINITELY not be returning here. I guess if you're not spending a crap load of money there, they end up just got giving a damn about how your nails end up. I went to get a full set and it was horrific. The nails were crooked and some were too small so my actual nail was visible on the side, the paint wasn't covering my whole nail looking like i already needed a fill, and the lady didn't round my nails or cut them to the correct size i asked for. Plus the overall paint job looked worse than if i did them myself. That visit would've received one star. But when i went back two days later and complained, another girl fixed it for free and she was quick and efficient and they came out perfect! Would've easily received five stars! So i guess I'll give them three stars, if you go i recommend to have the young lady do them, and hopefully they reassess their staff and get rid of their not so awesome employees holding them back. at first i was a little skeptical becouse i usually don't get my nails done here, i got a new full set of acrylic nails and within 24 hours one broke . i don't do much to where my nails should break that often, also one of my nails was infected under the acrylic from there tools not being cleaned properly . ewe. defiantly don't get your nails done here!!!!! Had a shellac manicure on April 7, 2015 and was not impressed. The nail tech I was with painted beyond my nails and every nail on both hands was "glues" to my finger skin and there were flaps of paint going off on the sides of most nails. I asked her to fix this as I knew it would peel off in a few days and she started cutting my fingertips with cuticle cutters. I asked her not to do this and just checked out and left.......i separated my fingertip skin from my nails on my own at home.After 3 days the shellac was already peeling on many fingers and one nail came completely off in one piece. I went back for a repair and the tech used the wrong color and missed the sides of my nail - at this point I didn't feel like arguing. What a waste of $25.I'll stick with Act II in Salem or Natural Nails in Derry next time. Read Less

I've been here a few times for gel manicures. For $25 they do a decent job. Quick and efficient, but no massage or lotion like I would expect from a spa.They have signs saying they accept credit cards but would appreciate gratuities in cash. I didn't have CA's, so I asked for the tip to be added to my debit card. The nail tech was angry, saying, "Now I don't get anything. Next time bring cash." I was taken aback by his rudeness.I've been going there because it's local and they accept walk-ins, but next time I will try the new place down the street.The techs are bilingual and often speak to each other and joke in their first language, and I find that somewhat unprofessional. I've been going to Happy Nails for about 7 years now and am EXTREMELY HAPPY with their services. I am very fussy with my nails and can also be very demanding and this is the one that was able to do the best job for me. I tried at least 6 other places, once I even tried a salon closer to my house, trying to make it more convenient for me, but forget about it, came right back to Le and Ann at Happy Nails. They keep the place very clean and sanitary and never heard or had any issues with fungus. I also have many friends, some recommended by me and some by coincidence, that have been there for a long time and very satisfied with their services. I go to Ann the owner is she is absolutely the best. I have been with this nail salon over a year and have tried them all. I love Happy Nails. Ann is so accomodating and always has a spot to get me in right away. My friend has been with her for 9 years and feels the same way. There isn't a better nail salon anywhere in my opinion. Read Less
