I walked in almost in tears....i had my natural nails dipped at a diff salon yesterday. It was terrible. I went back to that same salon today and they did them for free but they were even WORST and im not a complainer!!!! Of course by the time i was done nothing was open! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE:i switched from going to lovely nails to trying princess nails, princess nails rips you off.I usually go in for fills and my nails grow rapidly underneath, Lovely Nails has a drill piece that can drill down some of your natural nail when they get too long and when you go in for a fill every time, Princess nails, makes you get a new full set, i ended up paying $50 dollars when planning on spending $25. My nails and set were absolutely fine. My recommendation is if you're looking for a good nail salon, try Lovely Nails. They won't rip you off unlike this place will. Read Less

I went with my friend and they wouldn't let us sit next to each other. Okay, I guess I can understand that. But then he put the wrong polish on and after sitting there for 20 rushed minutes, I had pretty uneven nails. I thought that he forgot a clear coat on my left hand but I just assumed I over looked it, but by the second day you could totally tell that he didn't put a clear coat on my left hand. First time here and it was Fast and friendly! Really liked my stylist and he did a great job on my nail design (I like to let whomever I go to surprise me with a design)! I got my nails done on Wednesday the 22, it's now the 26th and one has fallen off and 5 have chipped at the tip. Didn't even last 4 days. I will be going back on Tuesday and getting them redone not paying for it. Seriously shitty job Read Less

This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I work in concord and come to this salon often, each time it feels more and more rushed. I always come at like 9:30-10:00 am there is usually only one other client besides me in here absolutely no reason to rush. Today the man who did my acrylics did not shape them enough did not buff them out and I had to ask him 3 times to slow down because he kept cutting my cuticles. Just went in yesterday I got the dip as usual the first time I got it they were putting four or five coats of it on now when I go they only put 2! my nails keep breaking .. already broke one today less than 24 hours after I got them! Paid extra for a manicure which they are supposed to open a new package of tools for, they did not do that for me they used old ones.. so for the extra $10 I paid they pushed my cuticles back and trimmed off some of the excess that's it! Everytime I go here now it's inconsistent, the price is always different the processes is always different etc! Needless to say after this visit I will not be returning! I was here today and my wallet was on the top of my open purse. When I got home I realized it was gone so I called the salon and who ever answered the phone was rude. He was unwilling to look for it until the end of the day when they clean up or give me a straight answer when I asked about security cameras. I will not be going back. Not only did the man doing my nails cut me twice (with his own nails so this is twice as gross) but he stopped the service FOUR times to pull out his phone and text for several minutes. On addition to these things I am a Cosmetology student and recognized several sanitation violations that could lead to infection, such as they were NOT cleaning their tools in between customers and were keeping them in drawers that had money in them and in Altoid tins and not federally approved container. As for their customer service, they were having a busier day and got me right in. What I didn't like was that I was moved multiple times to different stations and even through the original woman I talked to wrote down the polish I had selected I had to tell several more people before actually getting the one I had asked for. I honestly should have gotten up and left when I noticed these things and wish I had since those cuts are red and inflamed, which is not enjoyable when I am trying to work. And if you are thinking "its just one of those angry customers who is never happy with the service" this is the first review I have written and I have gotten plenty of bad services. Love this place- every time I have gone I have received a high quality manicure (have never gotten a pedi). They are clean, efficient and do a really nice job. Well the price was regular I got fake ones so it was around 25 (w/o tip) and took about an hour the color I chose took forever to dry! And immediatly messed up so I had to wait a while. Two of my nails were uneven though making it look sloppy they weren't horrid and I even played a hockey game in them an hour later! However by the two week mark they were falling off super fast! The service was great, nice people. My problem that i seem to find with a lot of nail salons near here is they don't clean their utensils after each client. They also grind too much nail off, more than needed. I've also had one person when they asked for my money before we were done, i only handed them exact change and so when they were grinding down my nail they seemed to be more aggressive and cut my finger a few times. Overall okay experience. I will say, the first time I went my nails were great, the shellac lasted almost 3 weeks! This last time I went I wasn't so impressed, I felt like I went to a drive thru to get my nails done. They were done so quickly that the job wasn't as good, my cuticles got painted and the shellac polish is chipping and lifting before a week has even gone by. My girlfriends and I booked manicures ahead of time at Princess Nails for our Prom -- when we arrived at our designated time we were asked to wait....we waited for an entire hour before being seated. The station was covered in nail clippings and acrylic dust -- it was a complete mess. We continued to wait at our stations for an additional 20 minutes before our service was started. My technician was not friendly, did not smile. The only thing she said to me the entire time was that she was "very hungry." I felt sorry for the girl. My manicure came out okay. All of our nails looked good but one of the nail techs was rude to my sister and I have to say I was impressed with the owner who was on point with her customer service skills when she fired the technician for being rude to my sister. I got toenail fungus from this place like 3 years ago and am still struggling to get rid of it completely. I will never go back and I will most certainly NEVER take my daughter here. This is definitely my go to nail salon, I have acrylics and fills done on a regular basis. Everyone is very friendly, but if you just want to kick back and watch the big screens that's ok too! They really are artist there and I have my favorite...but I'm not going to tell you their name because I'm selfish!! Just like any other service you're paying for, be up front and let your artist know what you would like and how you prefer your nails done...thin, square, rounded, etc. And if you aren't totally happy with the result, just let them know! Some of these other reviewers are crazy, or maybe they just haven't been here in long enough. My girl friends and I visited this place for a spa day on a recommendation. I was so impressed with the whole ordeal! It was a little busy, but they got us into pedicure chairs to soak until they were ready. Their chairs we so comfortable, and we got to watch a movie the whole time we got our nails done. We got shellac on our toes, then sat at the tables to get our fingernails done. My technician was very fast and efficient. He was also very polite, and we exchanged easy conversation.  My nails were beautifully shaped and ended up gorgeous. Overall, I was very impressed! Although the technicians were friendly I found their manicures are too costly and didn't last too long. I got a liquid gel manicure and the tech told me I could come in at any time if I needed a fix or anything and gaurented my satisfaction.  He was very friendly and talked to me and my bf.... His name was Pat. Shortly after I paid and left I was looking at my nails and found a hair in my nail... Ewe! He reluctantly fixed them but didn't seen to impressed. Then 2 days later two of my nails chipped  but when I came in he wasn't even working and I had to wait about 30 mins for someone to fix it. Even though when I called they said I could just walk and and they would fix it. Not sure it was worth it or if Ill be back again especially since when I came back the tech totally ignored me! He listened music and talked to the tech next to us in his language and twice he left me alone! How rude! I was gonna give him a tip but I decided not to since he didn't seem to care at all. VERY disappointed.  I decided to try here since it had 2 5-star reviews.  I must agree that my tech was rude and found the other techs around us to be rude as well.  My mani and pedi were the worst I have ever received. I had a chipped nail so asked him to fix - he couldn't be bothered.  Very messy nails, and the pedi was far from enjoyable.  I will acknowledge that the place was clean.  I am surprised that it was as busy as it was - if this is the best in Concord, I'll wait until I get home before I get my nails done again. Today was my first visit to Princess Nails, and it has earned my business! When I arrived, it was clean and inviting, and I was kindly greeted immediately. My technician was Cindy, and she was kind and very thorough with both my manicure and pedicure. It was busy but the employees were happy and efficient, without seeming rushed. I really enjoyed my hour there, and was sad when it was over. I'll be back very soon!**edited to say that my manicure peeled off within 2 days. I found Princess Nails to be clean, welcoming, and had a wide variety of gel nail colors. My nail technician was rude, rushed, and frankly had an off putting attitude the entire time. The reason for the three stars is that the time and effort put into the manicure was not great. My nails are messy around the edges, the hand massage lasted less than two minutes, and I felt uncomfortable asking for my preferences because of the poor attitude of my technician. I love this place! I haven't had my nails done in over 2 years due to a bad experience and when I finally shipped around I was hesitant. When I called Princess nails for an appointment at 7pm they said they could get me in in 15 minutes. When I got there I was surprised at how clean and open the salon was. They greeted me right away and brought me to a chair after I chose my shellac colors. I decided on a shellac French manicure. Gerry did my nails and he was quick and gentle. I had high hopes for this place. And I am not picky.It was super packed when I first got there, which I thought for sure was a good sign. Nope. I waited at least 3-5 minutes before being acknowledged, and then was told to sit at a pedicure station and wait. A mother and daughter walked in behind me and they were greeted instantly, and sat in the two pedicure stations next to me. We all waited for a good 10 minutes before a male nail tech started the mother's water and started her pedi... after I had been waiting. No big deal. I waited another 10-15 mins before another nail tech came over and started working on my feet.Now I foolishly have the idea that if you are working for a tip, you'll at least TRY to be nice? She rushed on my feet so much that she offered me the "deluxe package" pedicure which I said I wanted for an extra $10, and she never ended up doing that. After being stabbed in the toe cuticle and receiving the quickest toe prep I have ever had, she proceeded to give me the worst French pedi. White tips that were very thick and one top coat. Usually at other places they at least put a sheer pink coat on.. I waited longer to have this done than the whole process. Silly me, I then wanted a eyebrow wax.. Since when do nail salons do waxing in front of everyone else? Another nail tech sat me in a chair in the main salon room and started to wax my eyebrows...a little awkward? Other places at least sit you in the backroom...anyway, she did a terrible job, didn't even show me what it looked like after she did it. I got no goodbye or have a nice day when I walked out. (sigh) I noticed when I got into my car that she had over plucked into my brow and left a small hole to the bottom of it and the ends of my brow weren't even touched.  I will say that it had cleared out considerable by the time my pedi was started that there was no excuse for rushing and the get-in get-out attitude. I am the pickiest person when it comes to getting my nails done. I know exactly what I want and how I want it done.  I've definitely had my fair share of experimenting around with salons and this one has got to be one of my favorites. First off, they have a great and very up to date color collection, including the new collections that recently came out! When I walked in, it was pretty busy but I was immediately greeted, asked what service I want and to pick out the color, and within a few minutes, making myself comfortable in a pedicure chair. The thing I get nervous most about is getting my cuticles cut because I am very sensitive and the girl did such a great job, i didnt even think about it.  Did i also mention they give amazing feet and hand massages? Of course what I came there for is not the massage, but that is definitely a factor of why ill come back.  the best part is how my nails looked afterwards. she even painted the tip of the nails which some technicians dont do. i had a fun conversation with my technician and felt comfortable the whole time. i didnt have enough time to dry my toes so she let me take the sandals home. The mani pedi combo is only 35 dollars! I will certainly be coming back more often. Read Less

Just moved here from NY. I had the same guy do my nails for years-- since I was in high school-- so I was worried I wouldn't find the right nail technician up here. I had Lien do my nails (pink and white, gel) and she did an amazing job! I would very highly recommend her. The staff is very friendly and works efficiently and quickly.
