This place, is awful. I wish I could give it less stars. Not only is it expensive, (I paid 68$ for a gel pedicure, and my daughter who is 7 to get her toes and nails painted. The pedicure was less than good. Water was cold, asked them to make it hot 2x, they still didn't. The kid can't massage feet for the life of him (no offense) He put almost zero pressure into it, seriously, isn't that everyone favorite part? The owner, yelled at 2 of his clients while in there, as well as my daughter for being too small to not have people reach her toes while in the chair. It was SO uncomfortable. My daughter had polish all over her knuckles, and then the polish, on my toes and her fingers AND toes, completely came off in less than 24 hours. Will be disputing it with my credit card company. I love this place! Went for my pedicure and manicure yesterday they did such an amazing job! The place got a new make over full of new manicure tables, chairs...etc. the staffs is so friendly, though it was busy for them yesterday but they always take their time to greet a new walk in client! I have tried nail salons all over the area. They are expensive and are not as good as Escape Nails.  This is my 2nd visit, I am very happy! My nails were done this time by the owner. I have never had my nails done by a man before he did a great job! The place was really busy today they greeted everyone who walked in and were pretty quick. The last time I was in there was only one other customer who was getting a pedicure. She was getting very good service as was I. I recommend this salon! Read Less

Absolutely horrible! In all honesty I had to ask them to fix my acrilics 4 times and THEY WERE STILL REALLY SHORT AND CROOKED AND ALL MY FINGERS ARE BLEEDING BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO ROUGH ! Then finally I decided to not have her fix them anymore because everytime she tried to fix it it would be worse. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I paid $25 for a simple gel polish change on my toes less than 12 hours ago... And my polish is already chipping. I have worn flip flops all day and haven't even showered or done anything to prompt this chipping. Yet, it has happened. My husband has a service dog because of injuries sustained in combat. When we arrived he was told he could bring his dog in, we politely said it's a service dog and the woman rolled her eyes at us and stuck my husband in a FAR off corner. The worst experience and customer service I have ever received.  The owner is a mean old man who yelled at me because I needed my nail fixed again in less than one week and suggested the gel polish that had been used was old.  He went on a tirade.  I will never go there again.  It is a shame because his niece is such a nice young woman who fixed me nail. Came here hoping to find better service than my previous nail place. Boy was I wrong!The lady, Rose, cut into my cuticles with the nail machine, burned my actual nail; I had lost my pinky nail and upon trying to replace it, she filed the crap out of my nail, to the point of burning, and then she left it way to messy. Her technique overall was messy! She got acrylic on my cuticle which would cause lifting, and it just seemed like she had no experience. It was so awful I had to walk out, she proceeded to take my card and charge me without telling me the price, after I asked her three times, the last time I had to yell and she still didn't tell me. So I walk up there and she rushed to charge me, still not informing me. I was a damn idiot for signing that receipt! I had to pay another place to fix them. Worst experience ever! I have been going to this salon for several years. I am always greeted and treated very nice on each visit. I love the professional service I receive each time. Worst pedicure experience we have ever had. Took my daughters here over thanksgiving weekend...called ahead to make appointment for three people. Upon arrival, they were short staffed 20 minutes into our pedicure, other person arrived only to simply remove and redo polish. Refuses to do design. THen disappears to help someone else arriving in the salon. Other staff member applied snowman design on my daughters toes. Then to make the experience worse, I was overcharged upon checking out and was told prices are based on age. My 2 daughters are 10...charge was $55 for mini-pedis which is $30 more than is advertised. Completely awful experience. Will never go back and think businesses like this should not be supported. The new owner was FABULOUS. I went in with two kids and a friend of mine. We were walk ins so he tells me the wait for each of us to get a fill was going to be about a half hour. I was a bit sad but I needed my nails done, so I waited. Thank god I did! 9 minutes later he started my nails and a few minutes later my friends nails were started. He was busy, overwhelmed, hungry and tired. (I work customer service, I know) not ONCE did he complain, instead he made my visit a pleas...ant one and even treated the two kids to a candy selection he bought from 2 little girls doing a fundraiser!! He was prompt. Never made me feel like he was talking about me. Thank god I've been coming to this salon for a long time. I have Coke to this salon about a half dozen times in the last 10 years for manicured and pedicures. This salon is an Asian owned place that talks in a different language. If you go to Spanish Springs high school, you do get a good discount, especially around prom. They do give amazing pedicures and are very nice, it is just difficult to understand them at times. I highly recommend booking an appointment instead of walking in, they can become busy. Read Less

I came here for the first time on a Saturday, and I live pretty close to this place which I never even knew existed until I looked up nail salons  in sparks so I thought I'd give it a try. I called and made an appt. and they got me in right away when I called for prices  for gel mani they told me $25  but she charged me $27 when I was done and I didn't even argue. when I walked in and this lady I don't know her name helped me she was on the far left section on the second station she did not even greet me or anything she just told me to sit down and she started working on my nails which I felt she was rushed and I felt tensed  just watching her do my nails like she was trying to finish  with my nails as fast as she can that made me feel super uncomfortable. I tried making a conversation but when I asked her a question she gave me one answer so there was no conversation at all she just wanted to finish. she was not friendly she did a super lousy job on my nails that I wished I had gone back to show her how lousy it was. The color on one nail was different from another nails because she was too stingy on the coats it didn't even match colors. I don't even know why I tipped her $5 I should've just given her $1 or maybe nothing after I got done I was not happy but I did not say anything. Please don't go to this place or if you do I hope you don't get this lady that did my nails coz she did a LOUSY JOB! never again!!!! I should've have gotten a full refund if only I would've talked to the owner. Bad,bad,bad experience. This salon was very accommodating to our walking in and wanting manis and pedis without an appointment.  We asked for the standard service which was $37 total (best price we could find in the area).  They did a great job although it took awhile since they were fitting us in.  The only thing is to watch for when they charge you, they tried to up-charge for extras on the pedi they did.  We told them we only asked for the standard and did not know that the sea salt scrub and warm towels were not included in that.  After a few back and forths of ... but you got the service... but we did not ask for them... they finally gave us the price of the service we asked for. We were visiting Reno for NYE and needed a place to doll up our claws. Escape came up fairly highly rated on Yelp so we decided to give it a try.They were able to get us an appointment - my friend wanted a pedi and I just needed a mani. We got there and the place was packed. My manicurist was a little preoccupied (she kept having to look over at another customer and got up a few times in between my manicure) and after my nails dried I had to ask another person to clean up a few things around the edges (I can't stand having residual nail polish underneath the nail / on the cuticle). I have had great pedicures here, always clean and sanitary. This is the only place I go to get my eyebrows done, she is the only person (I don't know her name, but she's the only esthetician there) who's ever done a consistent job on my brows. I took one star off, because the lotion she uses on your brow area after she's done makes me break out. I have asked her not to use it, but she didn't understand what I asked, apparently. So I just wash it off as soon as she's done. Anyhow, it's worth it to get my brows shaped perfectly. Also, the pedicure always last so long, compared to others I've had. I'd rather not go anywhere else for a pedi. All in all I am pretty loyal to this place! Read Less
