I went in to get a fill today and I was extremely disappointed. The lady that did my nails hurt me the entire time! She told me my nails were lifting too much and ripped them off! Literally. I wanted to cry. When my nails were finished they looked really goopy and I had to file them myself just to make them look decent. I went in to get a manicure it was my Birthday so I was treating myself. My nails were damaged and short due to the last place I had them done and my cuticles were in bad shape. I just wanted to make them look a little better. They actually made fun of my nails and a gentleman decided he would do my hands. The ladies continued to come over and make fun of my nails to the point that one of the women working there looked embarrassed by their behavior. The gentleman did a great job until he let one of the ladies put the polish on and she did a horrible job. I've got thick skin so I ignored them because like I said it was my Birthday and I wanted to do this for myself. When i was done i tipped them well which is my style. But that will be the last tip they will ever get from me due to the fact I will never return! I just hope they dont fo that to someone else that may take it a lot more personal. Went to get my nails done today picked out my colors and sat in the chair to wait. They already knew I wanted a full set. About 5 min later this old white lady came in and they asked her what she wanted and took her ahead of me. I waited a few more minutes and asked how long is it going to be? They said they don’t know they only had two people to do nails. I walked out and left, talking about white privilege. They won’t get this $20 tip it will go to someone else. My daughter and I have been here several times for pedicures when I visit, and they are always friendly and fast. The quality and experience is equal to the cost, and we always have a great time. Going again this morning for girls pedis! Ok...post pedi review...look, ladies, I spend a LOT of time abusing my poor feet. I work 12 hour shifts, go to the gym, etc. Lisa took great care of me with laughter and smiles, maybe teasing me a little in her native tongue, but I've come to enjoy that in a nail salon. The first time I went I was so happy she did a great job. My nails lasted 4 weeks. No lifting and no chipping. Well today (my second visit) to get a fill I felt so rushed didnt even let me wash before paint and was cut in 2 different spots! When I got home one nail has already peeled and the black gel polish was literally leaking out. Its hard to get in as I am a mom so I would like them done right the first time. Called ahead for an opening. They said yes. Wanted my nails removed and toes painted. I wasn't going to be a money maker. I barely got them to paint my toes after complaining about them letting a mani pedi customer go in front of me. Said they only had two nails tech's when they actually had four. Finally got my toes done and watched two other people go in front of me. It was my first time there. I will never go back there again. Absolutely rude and no customer service. I tried it there it was ok. I love Salon Galleria next to Costco, and behind the I hop pancakes house. Van is awesome the pedicures are fantastic. Nails there art work is amazing and they don't charge for any designs. I highly recommend Salon Galleria. Read Less

I go to this place since I moved here in Sparks, in 2010. But since there's a lot of people who come here they don't take time cleaning & sanitizing their foot spas. I acquired a fungal skin disease on my leg. I knew it was from them. And they don't sanitize their tools. The lady who did my manicure insisted that the nipper was new but it wasn't because there was a customer before me from whom she used the same nipper with. So I insisted to sanitize it. I sure hope she did because I did not see it with my own eyes. I guess I need to look for another nail salon to go to. Read Less

Casey has done my nails and pedi's for 5 years in this shop. I can't say enough about how awesome she is personally. After my heart attack, I've been on both anti platelets and full dose (325mg) aspirin daily, hence I bruise easily everywhere. When removing polish with the Dremel on my great toe, it had a small bruise under the nail. I told Casey that it's ok, not her fault and not to worry. The nasty owner of the shop Vicky misunderstood and told my 16 year old daughter who was getting her nails done, "you Mom don't come back here." My daughter said I think you're not understanding what my Mom is telling Casey, it's because of her medicine, it's ok. This plastic want to be American with plastic boobs that treats her staff like slaves, Vicky, is wicked. I've slipped tips in cash for years because she takes 50% of the gratuity paid to the staff. She posts herself in a video handing staff a $100.00 bill at Christmas. She then had the unmitigated gall to tell my daughter we haven't been clients for 5 years. Ughh beg your pardon Vicky, have all my receipts. It's a shame that I won't see Casey anymore, a good lady, but the owner drives clients away. I stayed much longer than any of my coworkers. Eventually this shop will only be able to service first timers because I know sooooo many people who don't return because of how Vicky treats people. My best wishes to Casey.... I just moved to this area and thought I'd give this place a try. I needed a new nail salon, my nails are done fresh every month and thought I could make this my go to place.. I was completely wrong! The only person that knows what she's doing is Vicky. I sat down to another person and got prob the worst gel nails I've ever had, they were super thick and lumpy, he cut me three times making me bleed, I was told if I'm not happy to just go somewhere else.. im usually not one to type a review up or complain but the way they treat and act with customers is not okay. First time at beyond nails and I was given the maleNail tech, he seemed to be very in a rush as he stated they were short staffed. He was very rough, kept "tossing" my hands around and cut my cuticles twice while grinding. When I walked out I had lumpy nails as the gel powder was not evenly distributed...I will not be returning. This was my first experience with them and I can say that they will now have a repeat costomer. I was a walk-in, I was greeted immediately and was asked was I would like done. Anna did my pedicure and I was asked if I would like to upgrade to the deluxe pedicure, and I am so glad that I did. Anna did a fantastic job and she must have massaged my legs and fees for a good 20 minutes. My feet were in bad shape and now they look and feel great. Then I was told to go over to Paul's station to get my nails done. While I was getting my nails done, Anna applied a paraffin treatment to my feet and covered my feet with warm booties. Paul did an amazing job on my nails, I got a pink and white with sparkles done. I have to keep my nails on the shorter side for work, but they still look beautiful. He is a man of detail, I have been getting my nails done on and off for over 20 years and I know what I like, he did exactly what I asked and I will definitely be going back to him. My twenty first birthday I decided to get my nails done. I called in advance for an appointment for a friend and I to get pampered because that friend had recommended this place to me. They had no problem accommodating my reservation. Arriving at the salon the owner, Vicki, greeted me and told me it was no problem I was late due to construction in the area and told me to pick out colors. I usually don't like gel bc I had a bad manicure that chipped and was thick and bubbly. She explained to me the quality of the products she uses and how much better gel is than regular polish. I agreed to try it one more time. It's included in the full set price! I also asked the owner the difference between white and pink acrylic to which she explained how much more quality the pink was. She only uses OPI product due to its reputation. She finished filing and shaping and already my nails looked perfect without polish. Then Nancy took me to do my special polish. I generally do some crazy stuff with my nails so I wanted to see their creativity and talent. I was not disappointed. The gel polish was smooth, not thick, and not bubbly. It looks absolutely perfect and Nancy was so sweet and very talented. It was my first time here and I will definitely be going back to see these two wonderful artists. Trying to spend a relaxing day with my daughter I in law before she goes to meet my son on an air force base out of state. I wanted today to be special but unfortunately because of the staff here, its been ruined. How horrible customer service. We shouldn't be laughed at and talked bad about in another language when we're trying to enjoy our day off. How disrespectful and embarrassing. I took my 11 yr old daughter in to spoil her after recovering from a surgery to repair a cleft lip. The last of 16 procedures! I purchased her a pedicure and manicure. The lady who did her manicure left a lump of gel 1/4" thick on one thumb nail. I took her back in. My lady fixed it. My daughter wait until we get home ("so I'm not as upset") to tell me that her hand was burnt on a lamp when her initial lady did her nails and the lady didn't even apologize!!!I call today.... And ask for a refund or for the profit portion of my daughter's expenses to at least go to my nail lady.The manager says "let me enlighten you, everything in this world needs evidence."I agree! So I ask for the business email address and I'll email a doctor's note ahs picture for evidence....manager says They don't have an email. & I have to bring my daughter in so they can they can do for my daughter....... Today was my first time here, and I was honestly A tad hesitant with the low ratings on here, but I'm glad I went! It is a bit cramped inside, and they were super busy, but without an appointment they helped me pretty quickly. I showed Vicki (I think that was her name) a photo I found Pinterest and she went beyond my expectation. It took a little long for my full set, but she had to keep stopping to handle the crowds that kept coming in, so I understood.  Also, without their gel colors available on a color wheel, it was somewhat hard to pick my colors. I really don't get why there are so many bad reviews. I stopped in today at 6pm without an appointment. I was greeted right away and was told they could take me. It was really busy in the salon so I was very surprised I didn't have to wait. Now I've seen in other reviews complaining of the cleanliness or lack there of, but to me they were extremely clean. As to those who mentioned that their implements aren't sanitized....they are sanitized. The only places I've gone to where they "open" a new package of implements also charge $50-$60 for a basic pedi. Yen my technician was very friendly and sweet. She did a fantastic job on my toes and she gives the best foot/calf massage. I will definitely be a regular customer here! Read Less

I have been coming here for the last few months and I think this is (so far) my favorite place in Reno.  A friend recommended I come here, after I noticed her nails always looked nice and seemed to last so long. Main reasons I love this place and would recommend it: 1) I always show up without an appointment and usually near the end of the day and they are ALWAYS willing to fit me in, despite how busy they are. 2) They are very affordable and do a great job and3) My nails always end up looking exactly (if not better than I imagined). If I ask them to fix something they do it without hesitation and my nails dont lift and end up lasting several weeks still looking fresh! Read Less
