Very very nice,  very informative. However, gel paint ended up not being even. I could see through the paint in my nail. The chrome chipped off by the second day, which was before the wedding : ( had to paint black over it with regular polish.  Bad part, I did nothing  with my hands that would have just chipped it. I recently moved here from Upstate NY. I went to a few random places for a pedicure and gels. What a disaster! I felt hopeless! I came across The Nail Bar and Salon. I read all the wonderful reviews! So I decided to call. I spoke with Carmen the owner and set up an appointment with her for both pedicure and gels-pink and Whites for my nails. I new right away! Just by her voice this is my girl! I explained all the horrible experiences I've had here trying to find someone. She was so understanding, very professional and Sweet! My pedicure was outstanding! My nails perfect!!! I was looking for a nail salon close to my new home....I've found it!  With nice oldies playing at just the right volume in the background I was able to relax and enjoy the experience.  Lindsay, having recently returned from a trade show, was eager to try out some beautiful new pigments and products on my nails.  She's talented and intelligent.....great combo in my opinion.  I love my nails and even though in the past I've veiwed my trips to the nail salon as a chore....I'm actually looking forward to going back and letting her do her thing again.  Thanks Lindsay, you rock! LEXI IS A DAMN SAINT!!!!  I love her so!!! She does amazing work and her prices are more than fair!!! I have never had any problems and I am a full blow picker chew abs completely rough on my hands due to my profession and never doe I have lifting or cracking! I came to her out of an accident where my previous stylist/barber forgot what they were doing and ... let's say it took four maybe five months to grow out. Haircuts should be a simple pleasure - a brief period of time where the chaos of creativity makes you feel better for the rest of the day, weekend, or until the next cut. Winter understands this. The entire block is fun and upcoming so you can plan your visit to shop, drink and relax all at once. Service: My husband and I had our mani and pedis done by Candice Smith. This is definitely the best nail salon in all of Reno/Sparks that I've ever been to! I've been getting acrylic nails for about 3 years now and I've finally found a nail tech that I will forever love.
