THE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!They are racist, and appear not to care much for the black community! On 2-10-2017 I came in for nail takeoff and a full set- was unsure if I should get coffin nails or keep my regular manicure nails; decided to do coffin since it was my birthday, and I wanted to be a bit more festive. Lisa approached, as I was still deciding if I wanted Kevin or Lisa to do my nails, since both of their work looked so appetizing on their Instagram page. Needless to say decided to work with Lisa; since she's the veteran. The worst experience ever.1. she tore my old nails off with out concern or feeling that it may be hurting me- I proceeded to tell her numerous times to please be GENTLE. In turn she would argue with me and say "she's was being gentle and its all in my head (who does that)." After that remark at I felt uncomfortable with her doing my nails and asked if she rather me sit with someone else, and she said NO.2.. Lisa would pull and tug at my hands and arms without making any interaction or asking me to place my hands at a certain angle.3. AFTER MY NAILS WERE DONE THEY HURT BADLY which is probably FROM HER BEING ROUGH WITH THE DRILL AND FILE.4. THE GEL NAILS LOOKED HORRIBLE . no shape, the color was sloppy, and the powder is thin on some nails, and thick on other (photos do not lie).After spending a whooping $70 bucks plus tips- I walked out vowing to NEVER return again!Well needless to say Sunday (2-12-2017) evening, my brand new middle finger nail broke down to the tender nail bed, plus one of rhinestone bow ($5 dollars a piece ) fell off. GO figure! Having already vow to never return to Cosmo nail- I went down the street to have them fix it. They proceeded to say you need a new fill and I informed them I just got my nails done on Friday...... they told me to never go to that shop again and sat me down to fix both nails. Well, once they looked at the gel application they informed me they didn't have the material to apply the ombre look to my nails . DARN IT! Now I have to drive 45 minutes back to Cosmo nail to deal with shitty service!Drove to them on Monday, and they were closed (should have checked that before I left home .... just like I should have checked the yelp reviews before getting service here)Came back on Tuesday and this is where the story gets even better . I walked through the door and let Vince know I broke a nail, he gets up and looks at my nail sits back down to continue working and says nothing. I asked him again if there was someone to service me. He points me to the gentlemen sitting behind him.The gentleman examined my nails and proceeded to ask who did your nails?- I told him Lisa and he calls another young lady over to examine all my nails. He says some words in Vietnamese and proceeds to work on the broken nail; all the while stating "to let him know if it hurts and he will stop(such a nice guy and very concerned about my me and my nail)".Then Lisa comes and the service just changed out of nowhere. She asked how did I break my nail? I must have been too rough and hit it on something.. What?Lisa takes me to her chair and being to be even rougher than before and start talking the nail off I tell her again she's being a bit too rough. That's when all heck broke lose, she starts SCREAMING at me WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO. YOU BROKE YOUR NAIL AND TRYING TO FIX IT EVEN THOUGH IT HURTS. YOU SHOULD HAVE WAITED TO COME . I NO HURT YOU!!!Vince gets up from his station to try and rectify the situation. I informed him that she's being too rough and now being extremely unprofessional by screaming and walking away, all the yelling while myself and customer are getting service. Well this pissed Vince off!!!!! He proceeds to get in a yelling match saying the same thing:YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE COME IF YOUR NAIL HURT THAT BADHOW DARE TELL ME HOW TO RUN MY BUSINESSWE ONLY HAVE A 1 DAY FIX POLICY, AND YOUR COMING BACK 4 DAYS LATER ( mind you they were close on Monday)YOU SHOULD'NT HAVE COME BACK HERE IF YOU DON'T LIKE OR SERVICE OF IF LISA IS TOO ROUGHETC,ETC,ETC!!!!At this point I was mortified and wanted to get up and leave, because nothing is worth me getting humiliated in a shop, especially for asking her to be a bit more gentler. Mind you, I NEVER GOT AN attitude or raise my voice with Lisa as that's not my nature. This leads me to explain why I feel this shop is racist: there were 3 other black young ladies getting service in the shop, and I know for a fact Vince would have not been yelling at the top of his lungs, if there were middle aged white woman in the shop, or if we were on another side of town. How can you treat your customer in such a manner, in front of other customer. I told the young ladies they don't have to take that type of treatment and shouldn't patronize a business that yells at customers in front of them.
