I've been coming here on and off for a year and recommending friends. For the most part, it's a great salon and the prices are okay. Unfortunately, tonight might be my last visit. I decided to opt out of a gel manicure and give my nails a rest for awhile. Plus, I thought I'd save some money and give myself more time to study for a big test I have coming up. It was a negotiation to get my technician to do the regular manicure. She did a shiny buff (and her suggestion) with no clear coat. When I went up to pay the price was nearly the same as a gel manicure-- as if 18 wasn't already high for a regular manicure, I got charged an extra $5 for the buff. Miki Nail Bar is small, but very clean and classy.  Everyone from the receptionist to the manicurists are very friendly.  They do everything they can to make sure your experience is good.  I usually get a deluxe pedicure, which includes the hot stone massage and clay mask.  I really like that they use the plastic liners in the pedicure tubs to ensure hygiene.  My favorites are Anna and Kyle.  They do such a great job!  They are also great at accommodating my daughter or sister and myself at the same time in chairs next to each other.  Make sure you call for an appointment though because they do have a lot of "regulars" that book in advance. I came in to Miki for the first time almost 3 weeks ago for a full set. I haven't had a full set done in probably three years. And let me tell you... it is THE BEST FULL SET I have EVER had. It's nearly three weeks, and only a few of my nails have barely began to lift. I believe my tech's name was Adrienne and he was amazing. Immaculate attention to detail. The salon was also very clean and they offered me a water. The only small downside is they didn't tell me they had 10% off for new clients for checking in on yelp. I plan on going back in for a new set this weekend and I'm hoping they will honor it . But the salon it's self, and the quality of work was truly fantastic. Read Less

I needed a quick pedicure so I gave this place a try. They were able to take me in at the time I requested, for a same day appointment. The salon is very nice, modern, clean and upscale.They have an array of services available and do gel UV nails, they have so many color opitions it's hard to choose 1 color.  Fast friendly service. Never again. I came here about 10 days ago for a pedicure. I just removed my nail polish and noticed my toenails are paper thin. I've never had nails this thin before. The tech used an electric nail file on my toenails which I thought was odd. I've had numerous pedicures and never had this done. I've never had gel polish on my toes, so I wasn't sure why he was using that. It was painful at the time and I told him it hurt. He didn't understand me. He continued with it and left my nails very thin and my nail beds very sensitive and tender. Never ever again!!! Read Less

Really nice place, very clean, & they did a good job. My mother & I came in on a Wednesday afternoon, no appointment and were taken right away. They had what looked like was 8 nail techs & about 2 weren't busy after they took us. That's good bc I went to another nail salon & they didn't have too many employees available. Anyways, this place was a bit more pricier than other nail salons but I think it's worth it for the service & how clean it was. I came in 10/2017 & I don't think they offer drinks anymore or it's only with the more expensive services? Also our technicians didn't really have a full blown conversation in Vietnamese just probably asked if they were ready to massage bc they use hot stones so one of them got the supplies for the other. I don't take offense to people speaking in their own language they usually aren't talking about u anyways (you're just paranoid if u think they are). You don't get offended when u hear Mexican janitors or landscapers speaking Spanish while doing their jobs right?! Read Less

I had had Tiffanie as my NT for over 5 years and she never disappoints.  I always choose to get my nails done with gel and nothing else.  They never lift or break. Unless I do it myself on accident.  This place is very nice and affordable and they never over book.  Not as many refreshments, but I'm here for my nails and nothing more.  I know that the supplies are in fact top of the line as well. There's this new Powder that I've tried on my nails for the 2nd time now and it not only made my nails stronger but my cuticles and hang nails have drastically improved in condition. The Dip (powder) is what gel is to most everyone, except the powder does make your brittle nails stronger and healthier. I'm glad Nina made me try it. She is an expert in this process. She's meticulous and a perfectionist. I highly recommend the powder, and of course Nina. Oh and my nails lasted close to 6 weeks! OPI now makes that powder. I first had on SNS. Try it! Read Less

Miki's nail bar is extremely nice and relaxing inside! The owner took their time into designing this salon to give the experience of relaxation to each customer and it works! It's not like any basic salon where you walk in and it's white walls and some chairs.  You walk in and immediately feel the feeling of stress free and relaxation.The two nail artists we had were both friendly and easy going. One didn't speak English well but the other one spoke perfect English and was able to assist with any questions and concerns.  They both did an excellent job and I'm def going back and taking my mom for her bday to be spoiled :)Update: We decided to come back in today for her Bday mani/pedi and again extremely happy with our service. The manicurist were awesome and they provided an excellent service with no rush in our service. Called yesterday to make an appointment with Nina for 1030a the next day. I arrive at 1030, asked to choose my color and then no one else speaks to me. By 1040, I ask when will Nina be ready. Awkward silence and people looking atop me and someone laughs and says "she's not in yet" wow. "She didn't know she had an appointment" they did apologize but the situation was what it was already. It was disrespectful of people's time. It was my first time because I was referred by my mom but that was not a good impression. Needless to say I will not be back. Seems to be a recurring theme in nail salons lately, techs are either overbooked or clients are not allotted the proper amount of time for a service so you always feel rushed. There's a nail salon on every corner but I highly suggest Nohea nails. They're schedules are always planned and each client has a good amount of time with a buffer in between appointments and they are VERY detailed and thorough. My nail technician "Nina" is very talented, she takes her time to perfect your nails the way that you want them. Wanted to try a new nail place & i live fairly close.  It has been bookmarked for so long I thought i'd finally give this place a go. The shop is so clean and  organized. Everyone is so nice, Nam work on my gel manicure &  she did a great job, very sweet. I love the decor and they even have an area to pamper kids, so cute! There are plenty of pedicure chairs & color options. They don't have manicure stations instead a long marble table, i thought that was a very nice touch. When receiving a pedicure they line the bowl with plastic & i definitely like that they open a new tools package on every client, so you know it has never been used & sanitized. OMG! This place stole my HEART. I called in, they made me an appointment to come in 45 minutes (wow), and my tech, Dustin, was literally flawless. I had a simple regular polish change on my toes, Dustin trimmed my toe nails, and shaped them perfectly. I've never seen a more FLAWLESS pedicure! Literally perfect I'm not exaggerating. As for my nails, I'm still drooling over them. I've never had a more seamless acrylic fill ever, let alone the gel and rhinestones were done beautifully. I'm still star struck with how perfect they are. I had OPI (I sadly didn't get the name) for my pedicure, regular polish. Same shade of OPI in gel on my manicure with a matte top coat and AB clear rhinestones. Thank you so much Dustin for the literally perfect manicure and pedicure!!
