Called to ask how much was it to get 2 nails fixed she stated $7. So I went in, she didn’t greet me, just asked what did I want done. Told her just 2 nails fixed. She sat me down, worst nail tech I’ve been too. She was so rough & rude. No type of customer service. The older lady ended up having to add my clear coat & fix one of the nails because the short one with a gut & attitude didn’t do it properly. As the older lady rang me up she tried to charge me $8, I told her I called & she stated it was $7. The rude lady then went on to say oh yea $7. Then yelled next time I pay $7 I need to pay cash. This place is AWFUL. I went for a birthday manicure and pedicure with my friend, and we both left upset, pissed off, dirty, in pain, and almost in tears. We had different manicurists, and she got gel artificial nails, many of which were very crooked, and were applied painfully. I got regular polish applied to both toenails and fingernails. My fingernails were cut so short I couldn't scratch myself. They were also scraped very hard and horribly shaped and uneven, too. I also very politely, very quietly asked if they could fix the shape and tried to pull up a picture to show them what I was after and the manicurist got frustrated and was very rude, and made a girl who seemed like the manager come over and do it; she was very kind, but still screwed it up. My toe nails were jagged, diagonal, and also uneven. We both left with nail polish all over our hands and feet. Even our boyfriends said our nails looked awful. I had also asked them not to remove my cuticles, and they did anyway. But not only did they trim the cuticles at the base, but they ripped the strips of skin off either side of my nails, which was INCREDIBLY painful. My nails and the skin around them were damaged for months; luckily with lots of TLC I was able to nurse them back to health (I waited to make sure they healed before writing this review). But I wish I was making this up. The only way I can imagine it being any worse was if we had gotten an infection along with it. I was surprised this place was so horrible, because it had had some good reviews from years past. But come to find out the entire staff had changed, and that's why it was so horrible. I hate writing reviews like this but I don't know what else to do. The staff were all so nice but they don't know how to do regular fingernail polish and kinda admitted it afterward. I don't like gel because it's too hard on my nails; when I don't want to have polish they look bad. Anyway, the tech who did my nails cut my toe while I was reading and when I looked up she was putting something on it that now has given me a rash. Then when one of my toe nails got messed up while she was putting my shoes on (because this weird vinyl polish they have doesn't dry fast at all) she didn't have time to fix it. And overall it doesn't look very good. I'm so disappointed because doing this was suppose to treat myself and now it feels like a huge waste of time and money. I'm so sad. Read Less

I found the Nail Room on yelp while looking for a good place for a pedicure. They were able to get an appointment for my daughter and me right away...I went with the hot stone pedicure and my daughter did the classic. The massage was great with the hot stone...My daughter loved the designs on her toes, I decided to add in manicures for both of us. A regular one for her (she's 8) and a gel one for me. By the time we were finished, everyone who was working had helped both my daughter and me with our nails...and we are very happy with the results. Very nice people, professional, and accommodating...even if I sprung a Wonder Woman themed manicure on them. Came to Yelp to find a place for nails since there are so many in town. I can't see myself going anywhere else after The Nail Room. Close proximity to the freeway, and close to my house. Very relaxing atmosphere, and everything was perfect. I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and walked out more than satisfied. It was long overdue for me to get my nails done, and I wanted something a little different than my usual square shaped French or nude colored nails. It was the first time I have gotten coffin shaped nails, and my nail tech was very clear with the process and reconfirmed what I was looking for. He took his time, and I'm in love with the end result. I also enjoyed the fact that the facility had plenty of space for manicures and pedicures, and that I was able to walk in and sit down right away. This is now my regular nail place, and I look forward to coming back for a pedicure when it is time for a fill. They also do a little punch card, so when you visit 10 times, you get one free! My regular nail girl was out of town and because of scheduling conflicts I hadn't been able to see her and my nails were driving me crazy...so I made an appt. here for gel nails at noon. At first they couldn't figure out how to remove the gel I already had on, as my regular nail girl uses a different product that nobody else in Vegas uses. Long story short, they (Nicole and I forget the other tech's name) figured it out, took their time and were very patient. A girl sitting next to me had the ombre nails that I've been wanting and Nicole was giving me info, letting me know they were acrylics and I stated that I was anti-acrylic for a long time. She ensured me she only carries the high quality materials so that put me at ease. I may just return for a full set. I love their salon, very cute and chic. There are very few places in Las Vegas that do good nail art so when I do find a place that does, I want to let people know.  Love how my nails turned out!  Had a great spa pedicure & manicure experience. They have an assortment of regular nail & gel nail colors.  Although chairs are not massage chairs, my technician gave me a great foot, calf, hand, & arm massage. Felt very relaxed afterwards. They do have a customer loyalty card too. After 10 punches of spending $25 or more you get a free $25 nail service.  Very friendly staff.  Prices are about right for all that I received. I'm giving this nail salon five stars because I've been coming here for almost two years and they always do an excellent job.On the upside, I learned that this nail salon is under new management when I came back the day before my birthday. The good news is that one of the new people there did a fantastic job on my acrylic manicure set and gave me $5 off my service. The bad news is that I have mixed emotions about the new management. I'm not sure whether to stay or find a new nail salon....we'll see.UPDATE: About a month ago, the acrylic on my left ring finger gave me a possible fungal infection that was very painful. This is a pretty decent nail place. It's all white and pink and comfy. And there's plenty of chairs and color choices.When I called to book and appointment, the receptionist was very nice and I was able to make an appointment for the same day.However, when I arrived, despite having made an appointment for a hard gel manicure, I had an appointment with a tech who didn't do hard gel. But she was very nice and thorough. And she really took her time. So despite not getting hard gel, my nails and toes turned out great. And they seem to be holding up well.When I went to pay, it was a little bit of sticker shock. It was over $20 more than my usual spots where I would get hard gel.But despite it being pricer, it was nice. Though, the lack of massage chairs for the pedicure wasn't nice.But all in all, I'd be willing to go back here. Read Less

Hmm..I wish I could give 2 and half stars.  A solid 5 out of 10.  I wanted something different from my nail salon that has taken a bad turn.  I called for a same day appointment and was able to get it.  I showed up and the place was clean and very cozy.  My nail artist was pleasant and did a good job on my toes.I think my biggest complaint were the chairs.  I got a pedicure and they looked big and comfy- but I couldn't get comfortable.  I hated them- and the way I was positioned was not comfortable at all.  I said something to my artist, and she tried to readjust things, it just wasn't working.  The price was pretty expensive for an afternoon that wasn't comfortable.  I really love some of the nail art- and think I will go back for a manicure only next time. I recently moved from Summerlin to this side of town, and while I love French Nails Salon on that side of town sometimes you just don't want to drive 35 minutes to get a fill.I decided to give this place a try because its literally minutes from my house and they were rated well here on Yelp. I called in and was able to get an appointment within the hour which I really liked.I had originally thought about getting a regular polish fill but upon arrival they had so many beautiful gel options I was swayed to opt for a gel fill instead.Shannon was amazing! I really liked her vibe and I instantly felt comfortable around her. She did a great job with shaping my nails ( They are coffin shape the picture doesn't really do them justice).I loved the way they came out, and for those of you who think that you can't pull off loud colors like these, life is too short for boring nails!! I did not like the price however. At my usual place for a fill whether it be gel or polish and whether I chose to get nail art or builds or studs or crystals its never more than $25.00. One time I got a gel fill with Loluboutin under nails (where they paint the underside of your nails as well.) and with crystal nail art and I paid $25.00 plus tip.Here it was $56.00 for a gel fill with what they consider to be nail art (The glitter shade). They did give me 20% off since it was my first time but that's still $47.00 for a gel fill.Like I said this is a terrific salon and I would definitely recommend Shannon!
