Amazingly rude customer service. I have been going to Nice Nails for well over 7 years and the owner has always been the one to do my nails. My nails were always perfect and done quickly and I alays left at least a $5.00 tip plus gifts at Christmas. Shortly after they introduced a punch card for earning a free pedicure, I took my daughter, who was visiting from Seattle, to treat both of us to a pedicure and gel set. After paying for services + tip, I presentd my punchcard for credit, the owner told the cashier that all 4 eligible punches, (2 pedicures & 2 gel sets - remembering all was paid by me) could not all be on my card and that my daughter had to be given a new punchcard of her own. Even after explaining that my daughter visits only once a year and would to fill it for years, the owner would not consider any acceptions. So, trying to be understanding of small business survival, I put this behind me and continued going to Nice Nails for about 2 more years until this happened: I handed my punchcard over to get the last punch and finally would get my free pedicure. The cashier looked at the owner and the owner came over to explain to me that they no longer use punchcards and they now use points instead. I asked her if points could be applied to take the place of the pedicure I had earned (which, realistically, she still could have honored). I honestly thought she was just kidding, but no, she was not kidding!!! After the many years I spent as a loyal customer and regular tipper, I was completely dumbfounded, especially knowing that she was the owner and she made the rules and had noone was breathing down her neck. To me, the loss of a loyal customer as a direct result of the poor treatment of customers is far more detrimental to any business than providing one free service as in this case. People, in general, would rather support a business that is known to provide great cutomer service, even if that means NOT using a business with greater expertise. Customer service & satisfaction versus attitude of greed...hmmmm. Read Less
