Went in for a mani with no appoinment and didn't have to wait that long. They have a lot of colors to choose from. Love the ambiance of the place, really clean and smells good, also, they play a very relaxing music. The only thing is that the lady who did my nails wasn't really talking to me the whole time and tried to start a conversation w/ her but she didn't seem to be interested so that was a little awkward Lol the owner was really nice and very welcoming. Everyone here is great!  The ambiance and service is wonderful.  When I make an appointment at 2pm...they are ready for me at that time.  Others I've been to have me waiting 15 minutes or so.  It's so hard to find a good nail salon and I'm so happy, especially because their super close to my home! MARY,  is wonderful! She is the one who gets the five stars not the business. I am an aesthetician and am SUPER rough on my hands (I also bite and chew on my nails) so I generally break through sets of acrylics and gel with ease. Not hers, I can go 3 months just letting them grow and they WILL NOT COME OFF! They may not look pretty by the end but they hold on, no chips, no cracks just grown out :) I love her! She also speaks english very well so we can hold have conversations the whole time and not sit there in awkward silence, which is lovely. I recommend her to anyone and everyone I talk to about nails. For the record i usually get acrylics with a gel color on top. As for the shop itself... Probably 2 stars, I used to work at a nail shop so perhaps I have higher standards (personally I think I am more understanding). walk ins are welcome but they do always seem to be put out if you walk in, which is odd. Ive also seen them switch clients in the middle of services with out telling the client, so the poor client just looks confused and disgruntled. Its true about the liners, Ive seen them take out the liner empty the water and not rinse the tub. Also everything seems to be an add-on. Cuticles, massage, scrub I understand more advanced things like callous removal but a scrub?) Also they offer "eyelash extensions", which none of them are trained in nor licensed to apply. I cant tell you how many of my clients originally went to nail salons for "extensions" and came out with damaging (potentially permanent) results that I, as a licensed and professional Lash Tech, had to fix.All in all I LOVE MARY! She is amazing and I will follow her anywhere. The shop itself is do-able but she is the best part. Read Less

This place is fine for a quick and basic manicure and pedicure. It seems pretty clean and is never too crowded so it's good for walk-ins. Once I got a gel manicure and the next day it started to peel. I walked in and they quickly fixed it for me without any fuss so I appreciated that. However if you're looking for some creative nail art or a pampering, spa-like experience I suggest you go elsewhere. Everyone here is professional but not overly friendly I've been here several times and they still act like they don't recognize me when I walk in through the door. EDIT: I just found out Vivian no longer works here, and I'm heartbroken. I am going to try to find her, this place can never keep good nail techs!!! Ugh, such a shame. Good luck to this crappy salon that lets the good ones go. They won't last long..... LOVE Vivian, she's the best tech there! I won't go to anyone else, she does my nails exactly how I like them. If I'm bold enough to try something different, her recommendations are always spot on to what I would pick. She knows me so well, and I'm VERY picky. First time at Lami Nail Salon yesterday, but not the first time with Yen (I've met her at another nail salon and followed her to Lami). The salon is amazingly clean and all the staff, including Lami (the owner) are so nice and warm. Yen takes her time and I've always been happy with how she does my mani & pedi. I had some time to kill, waiting for my husband, so I looked up a nail salon nearby that had good reviews on Yelp. I was in desperate need of a pedicure!! So I happened on this place!Initial impression, this place is very nice and very clean. The nail salon itself didn't stink of a nail salon. They also had nice tranquil music playing. So the entire environment is very relaxing.I know I was a walk-in, so I was ok with waiting. When I walked in, the lady closest to the door told me to pick my color. I waited about 10 minutes when another woman came up to me and asked me to sit on a pedicure station. We made small talk and she worked quickly and efficiently. When she finished, my toes were perfect. But I guess to save time, someone else worked on my manicure. The guy was really nice and gentle. I think he did a good job. Not sure that he normally works on nails though, because he did everything except polish my nails. He had someone else do that. I decided to use a different color for my mani. Maybe it was the color. Maybe it was the polish. It was going on pretty thick so they let me wait awhile to let it dry. Its been one day. My toes still look great. But the color is already all cracked and chipped. My actual nails are chipped on the edges too! How does that happen?I really wanted to like this place. Everyone was really nice. Prices were very fair. For the most part, it was a great experience. But my mani didn't last one day. So I had to give it less stars. Maybe I'll try it again and update my review. Read Less

I really hate leaving this review with only 2 stars but after the last two visits i had to.  I have had a fill in and a pedicure the last two times with the same lady, there are only two people there most days and its always appointments first, so dont plan to just walk in. I am writing this review today because it hasn't even been two weeks since my last fill and three of my nails have totally lifted off. I dont know what type of acrylic they use, but it sucks. The pedicures arent that great either.  They never scrub the feet enough and the day of my pedicure i can feel little rough spots- which i shouldn't have for someone who gets a pedicure every 3/4 weeks. They are very nice and the salon is clean but your nails will not last. And they're kind of pricey. For a regular fill and a pedicure (no gel) its 45 dollars. Save yourself the heartache and go somewhere else. Read Less

Awesome location.  Very courteous. I came in 10 min before they closed and they took me in without hesitation. James and Lami are very nice and wonderful couple. Wish them the best In their new business!!!!I asked if they would prefer appointment next time and they said to just give them a call before coming to make sure they are not fully booked.
