My daughter was charged 55.00 for almond shaped nails that is a crappy job it's bubbles the lady filed downed then hurt my daughters finger bumps lines on the nail work. They were 5.00 short the lady damned them to run home pay her and who gives out personal information about needing the money to pay rent! I am sorry but u shouldn't be giving out your personal info to clients! Just saying it makes u look bad. But we are not happy with the experience with salon 95 to pricy crappy nail work pricy on hair that the colors didn't show up 200.00 when the price in the book says 90.00 or 95.00 for a cut color etc I was charged 200.00. Which is ridiculous anyone with a good nail technician that doesn't charge outrageous gets an attitude with paying customers hurts my daughter finger and would be able to fix them good experiences bad experiences bc we have had nothing but bad experiences. So the total for two teens nails came out being 110.00 which is bs. Salon 95 a maybe the reason why u moved from a nice area was bc u couldn't afford the rent anymore bc your prices are ridiculous. My review is not about the Salon but my stylist. From the first visit Jessica Welles did the best cut and color I've ever had. My hair is thick and sticks out everywhere. She not only got it to lay beautifully but I didn't have any problem getting it to look the same as she did. It still looked great 7wks later. I will follow you anywhere Jessica. Read Less

this was back in 2012, so it might have gotten better. i have never used the salon, but back in 2012 after i had been here a year or so and the local merchants had some sale event they were hosting out at the club house at the golf course. so i went out with my little dog and was checking out goodies to buy. i had walked the dog and had to walk past their "bling" trailer that was parked outside. two women were seated on stools outside the open trailer. i said, "hello!" and was about to look at their merchandise when i was totally snubbed by them. i assumed that i didn't look like i could afford to be their customer. so i continued on my way and have not darkened their doorway since. good customer service does NOT judge ppl by the way they look or how much money they look like they have. i ended up finding some really nice earrings from ANOTHER local merchant inside. when i walked back out to my car and said "BYE" they refused to acknowledge me again. i guess my money was no good there. The ambiance of the place is nice, but that's about it. The hair dye that they use washes out in 2 weeks (if that) ...and that is AFTER buying their 17 dollar shampoo and 17.50 dollar conditioner. The day following my service, I was straightening my hair and noticed the haircut was incredibly uneven. My boyfriend even said something about it (that's how obvious it was). I got a full body massage done by Stephanie and oh my goodness does that girl know what she is doing! Very professional she asked all the right questions and made me feel very comfortable. I received a deep tissue since i have a job that kills my neck and back she made my problem areas her focal point. I have never felt better, and can't wait until my next appointment. The staff here are all absolutely amazing! The shop is clean and decorated beautifully, definitely a step above all other salons in the town of Fernley. I get my nails done by Christina, she is simply amazing!  No matter how difficult the design is she is always pushing herself to do exactly what you are wanting rather than other salons who do what they want. She has done my nails for almost 3 years and I am never once disappointed. Unfortunately I'm moving so I will no longer be able to get my nails done, but every chance I get to visit I will be coming to get my nails done. Just the length I like and always listens to what I'm looking for.  And I never never lose a gem and I've gone weeks workout needing a fill. Christina does amazing job. Super gentle and very knowledgeable. Love the ladies they are always so cheerful and attentive to customers needs. Super happy when I come here and love the environment. Oh and when I get my hair cut here too it is always what I want and super gentle on my head and they always reassure with questions back. Love the ladies that give u good conversation while ur getting cut and waxed. It's never dull or s boring moment.  The waxing experience is amazing and comfortable. I've gone to some that felt jerky and like I was an inconvience. They are not expensive, very reasonable for a perfect job everytime. Only salon I go to for ALLL my needs!! Read Less

Worst experience in my life! Paid $25 for a wax on eye brows and lip. Half of one brow was removed, extra hair stragglers were not plucked on brows or lip. Poor, horrible job. My friends and family noticed it, very embarrassing.  I called the owner she asked me to talk to Candice who did the job, she only called when I called to say she didn't call. She did ask me to send pictures,  I did, and only heard that she wants to see me. I just wanted a refund. After sending pictures, due to being out if town, I have not heard from owner or Candice. I had a very poor experience here, and found the particular stylist I had dealt with to be far less than professional as I had come to expect anyone employed here to be. Long story short, I had a perm that was COMPLETELY botched, and had to ask for a refund three times, which was not only refused, but the stylist in question actually had the nerve to argue with me and tell me I was wrong about the situation that had occurred. I can't believe how I was-- and still am-- treated. I really expected nothing more than 100% professional staff here! I am still seeking my money back, after over a month of trying and will review again when the situation has been resolved... All in all, I would not recommend this particular salon, solely based on my first time experience here. Read Less

Aubree is so Awesome. I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair done for my wedding but I knew that I wanted something soft and feminine that could stand up to the wind.
