Stay away from Jessie Smokey at this salon. She claims to know how to do ombré styles but she butchered my daughters beautiful hair. She left the bleach on too long and fried it. Her hair was bright orange. Then the layers were horrid and choppy. We complained to the owner who made Jessie fix it. The fix was still awful and you can't fix fried hair either.  She screwed my other daughters ombré up too. It turned out to be 3 different brassy colors. She was also made to fix her hair too. All she did was dye over it all with a wash away color. So a week later it was awful again. And right before senior pictures. Jessie's attitude is very poor. Walked in on a Thursday morning to a stylist cutting hair, she saw me, didn't say anything though, so I sat down in the waiting area. Thinking when she was done with her customer she will help me. Not the case, she didn't even come acknowledge me when another customer walked in and sat down for what I can only assume was her standing appointment. The  reason I come to this salon is for their stylist Jett! She is an amazing stylist, and really the only person that I trust with my hair. Her technique is truly flawless!  Both times Jett has done my hair I have left feeling like a movie star.  She shows me how to get the same look at home, which is very helpful when you are as hair illiterate as I am. So I haven't dyed my hair in 8 years but hey why not try something different here and again. I was very lucky to find Jett. She is a certified hair colorist. I went burgundy and mahogany-like color. At first it was little shocking!! But again I haven't dyed my hair in 8 years!! Then I got home and started really looking at it. WOW! It is gorgeous! It is really not too far from the natural color. Robin is fantastic! I won't allow anyone else to touch my hair. From color to haircuts, she listens, gives advice and I always leave with beautiful hair. I came to Jesika on a whim. I had seen her post on a Carson something page on Facebook.. So I called and we made an appointment that was convenient for the both of us. Which I loved! She doesn't have set hours and is very flexible! When I came in, I did not have to wait for her to see me and she instantly told me, which already knew, the issues that was done from the previous hairstylist which made me feel relieved. She fixed the issue and at no point did I wait for her to finish or get interrupted by other people. The appointment time scheduled is the appointment time you get. Great first visit here yesterday for makeup and a blowout. Tonya somehow managed to blow my coarse, frizzy hair out so well that it didnt even frizz up in the rain and very strong winds!
