Worst place to go at. They did an extremely horrible job. Nail polish was not even dry when they put on the clear coat. The acrylic is very thick and lumpy. The shape of my nails is really ugly. The nail polish came off the next day. Charged me $50 because they were long, we were told a specific price and he charged us more than what he said. He kept cutting me and working on my nails when i told him to stop. They were also very rushed to finish my nails. He also cut into my nail beds with the machine they have. Terrible. Had an appointment at 1 the guy I saw messed up on my nails and had me soak in nail polish removed for an hour and half. While he was with another customer (instead of finishing my nails) then blamed me for the mistake. Then when he was doing my nails again I got cut on every finger on my right hand. The best sitting i’ve had with their new male employees. Very nice and suggestive. The guy who did my nails took his time to make sure the acrylic did not get on the skin. He didn’t get ANYTHING on my cuticles!! The shape is great. The color could have been brighter but that was my fault because he said that if he put white under it would look better but i wasn’t confident because i didn’t want it to be too bright. My mistake. I would give them 0’s if that was an choice.They cut my daughters finger. She has three fingers with cuts. It was bleeding and he filed of two of her cuticles to the flesh. Three of her fingers are swollen and painful. She kept trying to take her hand away and said he was hurting her. He kept grabbing her and telling her to relax. Hard to relax when someone is hurting you. Then he toke a break to go smoke outside while he was working on her. She did finally get up and moved to a different chair. Then I called for a refund. The manager that I spoke to said he would give me a refund. Went in to get my refund. The man that hurt my daughter was there and was very rude. I left with no refund and was treated very poorly to say the least. The WORST and if I had the option there would be zero stars, I will be reporting them to the Board, not sure how they stay in business...FILTHY, I did nails for 20 years so I know without a doubt that they should be SHUT DOWN, I went several times just to give them the benefit of the doubt and the nails were decent per the price but OMG the rest was not good, Lets start with...in between Pedicures (they NEVER turn a customer away) the Pedicure Tubs are NEVER sanitized ...it is simply rinsed out or wiped out and filled back up shoving another client in it, this is a spa tub that the water is rotated/circulated through pipes and when shut off irhe pipes are not cleaned unless you run bleach or some sort of board approved sanitizer through them with the same circulation running through the pipes for a certain amount of time (per the label) without doing this between each client then each client becomes subject to many disgusting posibilities, disease, infections etc. by all means don't tale my word for it...please google it, it is gross, plus they use a blade on some of the more neglected feet to take excess calous off, this is NOT board approved for many reasons, it is however less work for them, and the extra bonus pedicure for dollars more, do not waste your time and money, basically the same service (a scam). the emplements they use, they may rinse or brush but they DO NOT sanitize those properly either!! they are so RUDE talking and laughing about their clients in their language! they truly DO NOT care about the customer, only the money, if you leave a poor tip to express the service, don't expect them to do better service the next visit (if you dare to go again) they will punish you for the poor tip! Very broken english and they only hire their nationality (discrimination at its finest) a very sketchy place, I will do my part to correct or shut this place down, I advice NOT going here if you value your health, I will not return! If I could give 0 stars I would.  They are awful, the owner over-works these girls to the point of exhaustion.  Each time I have gone there I made an appointment with a specific person who is outstanding, however, because of the greedy owner she is unable to provide the level of service one would expect when you are paying $60.00 for a mani/pedi. You get passed around from one filthy station to another, the gel lamps they use are disgusting and dirty, My last appointment I was booted from my seat, had a quick manicure, no massage then sat in tepid water waiting for my pedicure which took all of 20 minutes, again no foot massage, hot towels, etc, as soon as more people walk-in the door they forget about the client sitting there.  As much as I love the gal that does my nails, I will never walk thru those doors again. I had been going to this salon for 5 years very loyally- every 3 weeks.  The reason I was loyal is because I love the gal who did my nails and pedicures.  The owner of this salon treats her employees horribly!  She talks down to them, never gives them Holidays and never once bothered to thank me for my loyal business. WORST of all, my gal who has been doing my nails for 5 years suffered a horrible loss- her husband died.  The same week that her husband died/ rather than give her excellent employee time off, what did she do-?  She fired her! I'm upset to say I scheduled an appointment and asked how much a pedicure would be and was quoted $25. I was super excited as I was paying for me plus another person. When we arrived, I pretty much almost burned my feet in the scalding water and didn't even get much of a massage. The stuff they put on my skin was scratchy. As I was rubbing it off, the lady doing my toes told me to stop and that it would come off: BS. I still had to scrub it off my legs. Then they did a sloppy nail and trim job that came apart in a couple of days. The flower they put on and charged me extra for was crap too. Then I go to the register and get told I owe $45 per person. Confused, I told them what they told me and they go "oh thats for nail only" and am shocked since I was very specific on what I wanted and was quoted $25 per person. Am sad to say I will not be back. Buyer beware for eyelash extensions. $50 sounded too good to true and it was. They looked good. It ends there. There were globs of glue on my inner eyelid that I could feel every time I blinked. My eyes after 24 hours didn't stop watering and were very red. I went back in to have them removed because clearly my eyes weren't very happy. Now you would think the lady would be sorry and apologetic. Nope! Used some kind of liquid to melt the glue and it burned like crazy. She snapped at ME saying I shouldn't close my eye all the way. Really??? Went thru hell getting them off and seems like a lot of my natural lashes were sacrificed as well. Lesson learned. Want eyelash extensions? Go pay $150 instead of $50. Your eyes are worth it.  The lady clearly couldn't have cared less. Not offered a refund but didn't ask for one. She could have at least offered the $10 tip back!! Oh and while I was there for a mani/pedi the pedi was only about 1/2 of what it used to be and the mani went on WHILE the lady was glueing extensions on. After 4 years I'm done with this salon. If I could give this place zero stars I would in a heart beat. To say that the board needs to pay a surprise visit to inspect sanitation is an understatement. The pedi chairs aren't properly sanitized. Files and tools are being reused. If you want to be given ingrown toe nails, made bleed after telling them to NOT dig so far under your free edge, polish on your toe, and uneven nails sure have fun and waste your money here. Don't go to Walmart! Come here.Walmart can't do any special designs and they don't have stickers!!I came in and was welcomed and got a seat very quickly on a Wednesday at 12:00pm. I picked out my color and a tiger fish and Nemo stickers for my pedi.I sat in the comfy chairs, while they are working on my feet right now. I've been here about a dozen times and always leave happy. Second favorite nail shop in the area. (Fav is in the Costco parking lot in Reno) both are the same price as Walmart, 25 for a pedi, 5 for special design. The give you a foot massage and clean up all your cuticles. They really get in deep and try to make it look super pretty. Which is always nice when you spend a fair amount to have your toes look good all year round.They also have gel to note. Read Less

I went in to get a simple manicure, thinking it would take 30 minutes max. When I went in no one was at the front to greet me, and the lady who was doing my nails was also working on 2 other women as well. It took an hour after I had mentioned that I needed to leave. I loved Carson Nails as soon as I went in. The place was clean & busy at the same time. I walked in to check it out & decided to make an appointment to my nails done. I was happy to hear I could get an appointment anytime. I came in the next day to get a new set of nails put on & I was helped by Vivian. She took off the old set without pain (I'm very sensitive), what a relief. New set went on, very nicely, with a personal touch by her. I must say Vivian is quite an artist, you can see the pride in her work. Next, I saw Cindy for my toes & eyebrows. I left a happy camper and have kept going back. I had a pedicure, which was 1star at best. Very little cleaning. She didn't even get my old nail polish all the way off.She left new nail polish on my skin.For my pink and white acrylics, she cut 5 of my cuticles. Two days later my hands are still hurting. My daughter (11) and I stopped in because it was close to where we needed to run errands in Carson City. The younger girl who gave my daughter a pedicure was nice and did a good job. The older woman who worked on me could have cared less. Never said hello. Never spoke a word of English to me. She kept pushing a flyer at me, pointing at a bunch of services that didn't have prices next to them. (She was trying to upsell me.) I kept politely saying, "No thank you." She frowned at me and just threw it down. Overall it was just a very rushed experience. Thankfully my daughter was happy with the outcome and neither of us got hurt. I definitely wouldn't go back. I just had one of the best pedicures I've ever experienced. I had the pleasure of having Helen do my nails. She is young, but she did great work. She paid incredible attention to detail. I asked for 10 minutes of extra foot massage and she did it without any problem or rush. I enjoyed it and will be back to see her. Read Less

Listen to the other reviews and stay away. Waited with my feet in water for over 20 minutes and all they kept saying is they'd be right with me. Yes they were busy but maybe you should say how long the wait is before sitting someone down. Not to mention they were leaving clients in the middle of manicures to go start a pedicure.  Horrible!!!! This place was a joke. As a walk in first time early in the morning the first 10 mins were fine...but as the gal started painting my toes it went down hill fast. They look like I could have painted them along with my nails. And it's already chipping. Then I go to pay and it's 50 bucks!! For some white lines and a snowflake. She then asks how much for a tip. Worst $60 Mani Pedi of my life! That's right! $60 + tip!I wanted something special for my wedding nails, not only did they shoot down my ideas they did gel polish on my hands after I specified I only wanted a regular French manicure. Hence they wanted to charge more for that. The $5 extra flower on my toes was hardly noticeable. All the nail ridges were not filed down and my nails did not look smooth. Just painted over.And! When I asked why they had done the gel polish without asking she sited the fact that she has added the free stones to my ring fingers as a "gift" and the gel polish would help them last longer. The stones & gel polish lasted a whole 4, yes 4 days! I was on my honeymoon, not home or work washing dishes and the polish still came off! Not happy at all. After complaining about the high amount they wanted, they promised me $10 off on my next visit. No thanks!! Not coming back here except to show them their shoddy work. Read Less

I started going here for pedicures and they cut my big toe nails incorrectly causing my toe nails to get ingrown.  They'd always mess with it and poke around, very painful.  After last time, I developed cellulitis in both big toes, and it was extremely painful.  Went to a podiatrist, taking major antibiotics and if left untreated, can be deadly!Stay away from this place!!!!
