I have been getting my nails done here for years. They have some really talented designers. Everyone is friendly, both staff and the other customers. I have been a customer for many years and used to love it.  Ever since the owners opened a new salon and spend their time there it was steadily gone downhill.  When I first picked this place it boasted they spoke in English.  Not so much the case anymore.  It is pretty much appointment only now so I always make sure to call and have one set up.  It never fails though, I wait and wait and wait some more.  I love my nail tech but I am seriously considering going somewhere else. Be sure you make an appointment, this place is packed! I arrived right when they opened at 10:00AM on a rainy and cold Saturday morning with the thought that the weather would have people staying home. I could not have been more wrong! Almost every technician was booked with appointments. I had Mai and got a shellac manicure. For $30 she did a full manicure, shellac, and a hand massage. She was fast without making me feel rushed and did a wonderful job. Without even asking she did 3 coats of color and two top coats which is exactly what I wanted. Just left. Won't return. Did not get my nails done. I was given a timeframe to come back in about 10 minutes. After I did that, no one spoke. I was then handed a thing to choose a gel polish. Still not speaking, no eye contact. Meanwhile, chatting up, being friendly to, and starting service for 2 women who came in after me. I have been going to TruElegance for over a year now. Over the past few months the service has really gone down hill. When you make an appointment they never start on time. It is usually 30 to 35 minutes after your appointment time. Once they finally seat you the technicians usually do a great job. I went in today for a pedicure with a friend of mine who is pregnant and can no longer see her feet. We waited 30 minutes past our appointment time to actually get our pedicures started. The water was luke warm at best. The rest of the pedicure went well until we were ready to go sit at the drying table. The technician decided to grab my purse for me but in doing so she hit my freshly painted toe nails with my very expensive leather Coach bag. When I called the manager over she attempted to clean the polish off the bag with alcohol which we all know ruins leather. There was no apology. No discount on my pedicure for ruining a $500 Coach bag. Nothing.Needless to say I will be searching for a new nail salon. Read Less

This place is so amazing!!! Not only are they affordable and quick but so talented. It is always crazy busy in there but they never fail to make you feel like you are the only one there. The manager is constantly walking around making sure everyone is well taken care of as well as jumping in wherever she is needed. I have never been more impressed with a business as a whole. Let me start off this review by stating that I am a licensed Esthetician, so I know how to do a proper pedicure, and cleanliness and relaxation are highly important in my eyes. Which is why I rated this place 3 stars, basically saying, eh it's okay. We had appointments at 4 30 and had to wait about 15 minutes past our appointment time to get in, not a big deal at all. Once our pedicures started however, I had to tell the girl doing my moms nails that my water was literally on as hot as possible, seriously! Then she turned it on as cold as possible, so my water was freezing, by the end of it I settled on tepid water just so I didn't have to deal with it anymore. My mom got a classic pedicure, and I got their Signature Pedicure, her pedicure started about 10 minutes before mine. My pedicure ended up getting done about 5 minutes after my moms did, I felt really jipped. I was treating my mom that day, so I spent $100 including tip. The filing of my nails went well nothing crazy happened, I felt my cuticles could have been pushed back a little better, and the trimming of my cuticles started to hurt because the person doing my nails started trimming fresh skin so I pulled my foot back. I also noticed that the person doing my nails put the cuticle pusher and trimmer BACK IN THE BASKET after using them on my feet. So uncleanly! Those are the two biggest tools that collect bacteria and then for the rest of the pedicure I was wondering what else wasn't clean. The massage was where I was most disappointed. As I mentioned relaxation is most important to me, when I do a pedicure I spend a long time massaging my clients FEET because that is half the reason people get pedicures. My feet were never touched during any of the massage. My legs were very lightly rubbed as if to rub in the lotion, and it lasted about a minute or two, no exaggeration. Overall, don't pay extra for their Signature Pedicure because it isn't more relaxing or decedent than their Classic. Yes, they provide you with a file and nail buffer to take with you once you leave, however the other tools they use on you are not properly cleaned. The bottoms of my feet were never touched during the one or two minute massage. I felt like I wasted $100 because I didn't leave feeling refreshed and pampered, I left feeling like I had I sub-par pedicure. Read Less

The worst manicure experience I've ever had. I came here to have shellac removed and a basic manicure performed, and specifically requested no new polish or frills. Just remove the shellac and file them down. The employees were all young girls except for one older woman who didn't appear to speak English and didn't say a word to my mother the entire time we were there. The younger girls chatted with each other the entire time, having completely inappropriate conversations in front of customers, and also not paying attention to the customers whatsoever. The lady doing my nails even made a remark that I looked much older than I actually was. Classy! Nice touch! Once my shellac was off, my lady started filing my nails, then gave me the worst, most non-attentive "massage" I've ever had. She didn't even touch me long enough for the lotion to be rubbed into my skin. All of her attention was on another employee messing around in the pedicure chairs and goofing off. At the end, I went to pay and they tried to charge me for a regular manicure and I reminded her that's not what I asked for and I wasn't going to pay for it. I didn't even have my nails painted. Her attitude turned sour and she said, "Well didn't she give you a massage? That's a regular manicure." I told her I was hardly touched, then she told me she would charge me the $15 "this time only," as if she were doing me a huge favor. What's worse, upon closer inspection of my nails later, she didn't even file them evenly. I had to clean them up at home. I'll never come here again. Read Less

This place is absolutely outstanding as far as nail designs and overall work. I'd rate 5 stars but even when you make an appointment they don't get to you on time. Had a 6:15 appointment this evening and didn't get my pedicure started until 6:40. I almost wanted to leave because they closed at 7. A++!!! I loved going here! I think I finally found my salon! I've been searching for a nail salon I really like for quite some time now, but I've never been completely satisfied. I called to make an appointment because I had heard they do not take walk ins because they are so busy. That was correct! They were packed! I had an appointment for 4 o'clock I arrived just after 4 because the parking lot was packed with the opening of Dublin donuts I assumed, so I had to park in the Walgreens parking lot! When I went inside the nail salon was FULL! Every chair, every station, including the dry station. They apologized multiple times for the wait when we hadn't even been there for 5 min. I had previously gotten shellac at another nail salon a week or so ago so I still had that on. They wrapped my nails in the foil while in the waiting area because they said there was not a chair available which I thought was awesome, they care enough about their customers, and it truly showed! Nancy the receptionist was wrapping my nails and she was so friendly! I didn't wait long and then there was a chair ready for me and they got to work right away on my nails because they had already been soaking in the foil. I had a lady named Vicky and I have never had better service! She was awesome! They all spoke really good English and she was even joking about that how they speak English at their salon! She was so fun to talk to, I'm usually lost and confused at nail salon because I can't understand anything they say and I just nod my head and smile, but I LOVED Vicky! She did an awesome job on my nails, and she was so sure I liked them because I told her I've gotten my nails done similar before but I wasn't in love with them and she kept saying be completely honest, and she was joking with me about me coming back and getting angry at her because I didn't like them. She was hilarious! My sister was with me and she didn't know my sisters name so she would call her sister when she addressed her until she finally asked her name! I really like this place because the employees are very nice and talented.  They can do any design you want!  I also like them because they speak english and I don't have to strain my brain trying to understand them!!  However, they are very unorganized.  Always getting interrupted to answer the phone or greet people coming in.  Turning my 30 min manicure into an hour manicure.  The decor is hit and miss.  Nothing matches, doesn't look good.  Even if you have an appt, you have to wait...and The last two times i've gone, ive had to wait at least an hour when im told its a 30 min wait.  They need more staff!! Truelegance is definitely the place to go to get your nails done! They are spot on with nail designs and have the most creative nail techs I have ever had the privilege of knowing! I have been to plenty of nail salons and this is the creme de le creme of them all! I definitely recommend coming here to get your nails done! Plus the staff is nice and they just remodeled!
