I like this place and have gone there for years. Today they did charge me $7 to remove my dipped nails which I thought was steep. A girlfriend of mine went to another salon and got hers removed and they didn't charge her a dime. Read Less

I have gone to this nail salon since I was a little kid when my mom would go, and at 18 I still went there because the people were always friendly and they did a great job on nails. However, the last time I went in I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. A woman was doing my sister’s pedicure and asked what we were up to today and I had said that I had to run to the the outlet mall, she responded by looking around the salon for a minute and then lowering her voice and saying “I don’t like going there anymore. There are too many black people that shop there and I just don’t like those kind. They’re scary.” It took me a minute to process that someone had actually just said that to me (my sister and I are white so I guess she thought we’d go along with it or something) but we do not tolerate that. We told her that it was a horrible thing to say and any kind of diversity should be encouraged and welcomed, and just because people look different than you do doesn’t make them “bad” or “scary”. I have never been so genuinely stunned in my life, and we told them we would never be bringing our business back to their salon. Such a disheartening and horrible experience. Never go to this salon.
