Chose this place because of the high reviews, I walked away baffled at how anyone gave this place five stars. Positives; my nail technician was friendly and my nails turned out okay. Other than that, I was absolutely wanting to leave the whole time. No one pulled out any new tools, used tools from my experience were thrown back into the drawers. Boxes and drink cups and just unnecessary junk littered the counter tops. The place had not been dusted, mopped, or swept up in quite some time. The furniture and some equipment was clearly not taken care of. The shellac mani/pedi process went through the bare minimum steps and seemed very sloppy. This is an amazing place to get your nails done. I have gotten both a manicure and a pedicure here. The people who work here are all very kind and professional. They also do amazing work and never rush. There is free wifi and TVs to keep yourself busy if you wouldn't like to talk. The pedicure chairs have massage functions. I needed a last minute appointment for 5 people. I called this place & they said they could get us all in! (Immediate brownie points for that) Assuming that we would have to wait a bit, I arrived there 5 minutes late ( I assumed wrong). When I arrived 3 of my friends were already seated. They seated me, as well as my other friend and gave us a basket full of nail polish colors to choose from - they literally have every color and shade you can imagine. They asked me how I wa...nted my nails & I showed them a picture. I'm going to be honest, I wasn't sure that they could perfectly mimic the shape of the image I showed them, but as long as they were close, I was willing to settle. BUT HOLY CRAP they're good! My girl friend told me about this place. I drove all the way from Midtown to check these folks out! I normally go to Aksarben Nail but I had a bad experience the last time I went so I thought I would try someone else... Well, this is my new go to! Kenny and Nilia were so friendly. Kenny did my nail dip and he was so gentle with my hands and wasn't forceful like some salons are. I highly recommend this nail salon. Went in at the suggestion of a friend, and was NOT disappointed! I've had some troubles finding a place for full sets and fills, but this place was amazing, especially for a first visit. Most places I go to rush through clients so they can get to the next, but from my pedi to my fill, each technician took their time and did beautiful work. I wanted the powder dips and the lady just said pick one out from the wall, I asked if they had samples so I could see what the color actually looked like and she said no they look just the same in the containers. I've gotten powder dips done a lot and sometimes the color does not look the same. She just walked away from me.... needless to say i walked out. This place sucks Read Less

My favorite nail tech was out of town so I was forced to try someone new. This guy Kenny, seemed to have a lot of nice ratings so I decided to check him out myself. He was super friendly and I got in with no waiting since I went near opening time. I chose the ombre style nails medium in length. He took his time and seemed to be very particular about his work, which I love to see. I was out of there in about an hour and a half. He promised no lifting, which he effectively delivered. Creative nails get a 3 rating because four days later I had a nail to break and I got charged an extra 5 bucks for the length of my nails which was not long as evidenced by half of the nail lying on the floor when he cut them down. But if he wants to consider my length requiring an extra $5 then I think it's important to let the client know in advance. I recommend asking the cost of EVERYTHING before you get started if you're particular about how you spend your money. Read Less

Today was my first time coming to Creative Nails. Love it!!!! I've been to many different nail salons throughout the Omaha area, but honestly this one has got to be my new Go-To!! Kenny was the one who did my nails and I loved how he took his time in making 100% sure they looked amazing.... and they DO!! Plus the prices are very reasonable!! $45 to remove my previous set (the RIGHT way), apply new ones, trim down to make them EVEN, file, shellac, dip powder, white tip, and he even cleaned up my cuticles for me)! I have been going there for 6 years now and love them. Doesn't matter who does my nails they always do a great job and the hot stone massage they added to the pedicure is awesome. I used to get the acrylic tips, then did the solar and now using the dip system and have noticed my natural nails are now a lot stronger and healthier. Read Less

Horrible. Went to get my nails done and the place looks horrible inside. Was given a nail tech who was in training. When I complained about her not knowing what she was doing and how long it was going to take the owner tried to speed up the process by dropping a bowl of acetone into warm water which splashed on my suit! 5 stars for Kenny!! I am so picky when it comes to acrylic nails. I can't stand it when they lift. I have never had nails done so well. He has been doing pink and white nails on me and if he didn't do them I would just take them off. I have been getting nails on and off for about 20 years and hands down best I have ever had. We walked into Creative Nails on a Saturday afternoon after the Husker game without an appointment. Happily, we were accommodated very quickly. It appears as though they only have one level of pedicaure, unlike many salons that offer add ons. My nail technician did a great job with the pedicure and provided me with a thorough calf and foot massage, which is admittedly my favorite part of a pedi.  It should be noted that my friends did not receive as lengthy of a massage, and they were a bit jealous. Where do I even start? We should have known it was bad when we used their restroom. The restroom was dual use, being used as a restroom as well as a storage closet housing a dirty mop and several other "cleaning" items. Gross! Luckily it only took 20 minutes for my friend and I to get in for gel manicures. While we were there waiting, we observed four people walk out from waiting so long. The employees kept shuffling people around and kept forgetting about customers who had been waiting for much longer. When we finally got our manicures, they were sloppy and reckless. I got several of my cuticles cut, one cut even drew blood. We were both left extremely disappointed by the level of customer service received as well as the manicures themselves. Due to a horrible experience at my usual pedi place, thought I would give this place a try. Got the deluxe pedicure, not too bad! It came with two massages which was nice, the technician took her time and did a great job with the color. I would have liked a little more attention paid to getting more of the dead skin off my feet and the paraffin wax treatment was not very desirable (it was like dipping my feet in a crock pot!). They do nice work here. I bought a groupon or living social deal to this place. NIce work. But they also don't use seche vite top coat.  Not as clean/organized as my regular place and busier more chaotic which is why I gave them 4 stars.  Massaging chairs are a nice touch. Read Less

I usually get about 3 pedicures a year so not enough to have a "regular" place. I went here because I bought a Living Social coupon for a mani/pedi and it was a pretty good deal. I made an appointment like the coupon asked and when I got there, I still had to wait about 15 min. The girl then started filling up the water for the pedi and totally forgot about it and it ran all over the floor. Did they wipe it up? Nope, just left a slippery tile floor right in the entry way for someone to fall. When the girl started my pedi she seriously acted like I was wasting her time by being there. It was the worst pedi I've ever had. It was basically just a toe-nail polish session; the entire thing lasted 10 minutes. The mani was just as disappointing. The only highlight was that I bumped my nail while I was drying and she fixed it for free -- not happily I will say. I apologized twice and she just gave me a rather dirty look.
