Pedicure was great, I didn't like that my manicure was done while I got my pedicure. Also they have signs all over that say "free $5 gift card." When I asked about it they told me they don't do that any more bc there isn't any more construction, which there is a ton of construction making it hard to find. I was absolutely happy my first visit. I had Amy and she did great! However my second visit was terrible. I told Pink when I was checking in that I haven’t had good luck with dipping powder and she assured me I would with them. So a young male w a pebbles ponytail did my nails. When done he asked if I liked and I said no it looked really thick and goopy. It pissed him off. He filed for a few minutes then got up and left. Didn’t come back. While paying I again told Pink that I was not happy and it looked bad. All she said was “oh”. Didn’t offer to redo or drop the price. Just got my acrylics filled today at Bali. The tech was nice and tried engaging in conversation. While removing some of the old acrylic that needed to be replaced, she grabbed the side of my nail with a cuticle nipper and ripped it off pretty hard. Then she prepped my nails for the tips and was not too careful while doing so. This resulted in 3/10 fingers bleeding. After washing my hands I realized that what I thought was dust from the file was really my skin after being torn from her filing at my nails too hard and not carefully. Also she used a tip on one of my nails that was way too wide and it just doesn't look right now. I will not be returning and I don't recommend this place for acrylics. Read Less

I went back several times to this salon because I wanted to relax and have a glass of wine despite their high prices. Twice now I have happened to have two men start my pedicure and were so rude telling me I had to pull my chair forward and be in a crunch position so my foot is straight for them but I was uncomfortable .  Then because I am tall and insisted to put my chair back the employee refused to do my pedicure because it inconvenienced him that my chair was in a relaxing position. The owner Paul did little to remedy the problem. They were allowed to tell you what worked for them. Not ask what helps you relax. Paul lost a good customer and many good referrals. Read Less

Ok , so I have been to a majority of all the top nail places in omaha.  Once I went to Bali Bar my search was over!  They have a ton of polishes to choose from.  My shellac manicure lasts 3 weeks.  I can bring in picture of a design and walk out with it looking better than the picture.  The owners are very friendly and remember me at my return visits.  I would highly recommend them.  Heck, you can have a glass of wine or beer as you relax.  Can it get any better then that?    Trust me I am very picky and have gone no where else for the  last 2 years!  You need to check this place out asap. For prom I prepaid for my step-daughter to get her nails done with a design. They couldn't do the design she wanted, so they did something else. I thought I probably overpaid but let it go. The next time I was there they told me I overpaid and gave me $10 back! The guy said something about make sure I give the money to my mom but I just thought he was confused or there was a language barrier. I was happy with them for being honest! Last night, when I went in the lady at checkout rudely told me I had to PAY IT BACK because they confused me with someone else. When I told her it was in fact me she went and got some guy and he literally started yelling at me and called me a liar. Whole salon can hear! I would gladly pay $10 to avoid this kinda thing or if they had asked me nicely. They both continued to chew me out until I said "just take it" so I could get out of there. I've spent hundreds of dollars there... I can't believe they would risk losing my business over $10!!! Someone new came in and it didn't even phase them to stop yelling. If they would go to this extreme over $10 I would be concerned with how they would behave if you had an issue with your mani/pedi.  Please consider selecting a different salon.  I don't think people should support this kind of behavior (although I will say I LOVE the girl I go to and have been seeing her for years.  She did nothing wrong!) I happened to be in the area so I stopped here on a whim for a shellac manicure.  It was in the middle of the day so they weren't busy.  The nail tech did a great job on my nails which were in a little rough from previous shellac manicures.  They had a ton of colors to choose from.  I also got 20 percent off for happy hour which was a nice surprise when I checked out.  I will definitely return in the afternoon!  I'm sure time of day makes a big difference. This was my first visit to the Bali Bar, and overall I had a GREAT experience and would highly recommend this place!  A friend and I booked 11:30 pedi appointments on a Saturday, and were ushered to our chairs right away.  Once seated we were offered a menu of beverages to select from, soda/water are complimentary, wine, beer, and Skinny Girl cocktails are also offered ranging from $2.50-$3.50- very reasonable I thought!  My friend and I chose Sparkling Moscato, and it was delicious!  Drinks were served in real glassware as well, nice touch!The atmosphere inside is much classier than other salons around, with a décor that will have you wishing (pretending) you really WERE in Bali!  The technicians were friendly, but mine was struggling more than most to understand my English.  I tried to tell her several times that I wanted an acrylic nail on my big toe, because most of the nail was broken off.  She kept saying she understood me, but then proceeded to polish my toe as is.  Finally, another technician stepped in to explain to her, and they had to send someone specific over to do the acrylic and finish up.  Their basic pedicure is only $25 bucks and includes the oranges, pastes, and hot towel wrap.  For $32, the hot stone part is added, and well worth it!  I even gooped up a toe getting into my car (totally my own fault), and they happily fixed it!  I will definitely be back!  This place is a cut above the rest! To be honest I live really far from this place but we picked it because they offered alcohol. It's just a nice added bonus to have a drink while getting your feet rubbed. Amiright? When you enter, there's a cute little bar and reception area where you pick your color and your drink before you enter the main salon. The salon is laid out nicely. There's a giant nail bar in the middle to get your mani's done and pedicure stations lining the outer walls. Nice chairs. If you go by yourself there's a giant stuffed panda getting it's nails done to keep you company.When you sit down for a pedi they give you a menu which details how long and what is in each package and the price, which I really like. I got the deluxe pedicure, which lasts 35 minutes, included orange slices (not to eat) and a hot stone massage. It was delightful, relaxing and my nails turned out great.I went to this place with three wonderful ladies. Three of us were really satisfied with our mani's and pedi's one was not so satisfied with her manicure. It seems they really like to up-sell you on the shellac. Drink prices are very reasonable too. $1.50 for a bud light, cheaper than a real bar and more relaxing, I would definitely make the trip again. Read Less

I really wanted to love this place since it's so close to where I live, but there were a few issues:1. Wait time - yes, we were weekend walk-ins (I came with my mom for a pedi)...but they had PLENTY of open chairs and it took a solid 15-20 minutes for us to be seated. Once we were seated, they didn't start filling the water for our soak for another 10 minutes...and all the managers seemed to be running around flustered (it really wasn't that busy...and I'm usually a pretty easy to please person).2. Quality of the pedicure - was good to start, but chipped after the first week. Also they seemed to be lacking in polish selection (half of which was a brand I never heard of...Polish I chose was OPI but still did not last).They do offer booze (but they charge extra for it). I may still try it again, because it's a cute idea for a girls day or night out. It's cute inside but I'm not overly impressed with the overall service or quality based on my first trip. I went in for a mani/pedi because I saw that they were offering a $35 special.  I was probably given the bare minimum when it came to both of my treatments.  The man that did them was rude and did not even offer me a "free drink" as advertised.  I think my manicure lasted about 10 min, and the polish started chipping the very next day.  Then when I went to pay, I discovered that they charged me an extra $5 to remove my shellac polish.  I will never return to this establishment.  I would rather go down the street to Maple and pay a little more, and receive the adequate treatment and services that I pay for. (Suddenly the name makes a lot more sense.)I don't think I'll ever be into the "squeezing orange slices on your legs" thing, but they do a nice spa style pedicure here for under $40.
