I recently had been going to this nail salon trying to find a better experience from the last place..but i actually had a worse experience. Not only do they rush doing your nails they do not have prop...
I recently had been going to this nail salon trying to find a better experience from the last place..but i actually had a worse experience. Not only do they rush doing your nails they do not have proper equipment. So if you get a full set with regular polish they have you sitting in front a fan FOREVER don't even have a dry station that works or quick dry spray. Ok not the end of the world. But then they charge for a fill and it looked like my nails got pregnant literally! I had a huge bump on 90% of the nail. Due to her rushing and not properly blending my nails after putting on acrylic. Also wanted a design and it looked like my 5 year old little cousin did it and she refused to fix it ....Then on top of it after ..i gave it on last shot and came back ..and one lady got rude because they wanted to leave early and close and i came in right before not knowing i was going to tip a huge tip because me working at a salon i know how it feels to have someone walk in 20 mins before you close. But they got extremely rude im front of multiple people that was already there so after that ...i will definitely not be going back. Terrible experience!

Horrible service! They have no method of taking reservations and if you just call that you’re on your way then you automatically get to skip ahead of everyone else who is waiting. They also have no sense of urgency and constantly stop working to take personal phone calls. Waited for over and hour and no one even acknowledged I was there.

Went in after a year of giving this place a rest because I was tired of feeling disappointed after getting my nails done. I got a regular polish pedicure and a shellac manicure and it was TERRIBLE. She made my big toe bleed the entire pedicure and just squirted acetone on it and acted like nothing happened. I decided to go with chrome polish but she told me it was a 15 upcharge as she was putting the second coat on. It looks nothing like the example and she had to redo two nails!! After leaving, I am now limping because of my toe and with a finger color that looks nothing like what it was supposed and it’s very thin.. what a waste of $58 dollars. The service does not match their pricing, I do not recommend.

I just got a full set the other day & they look amazing!! can’t recommend them enough!!

This was my second time going to lucky nails and I love it so far. They have a good variety of polish and shellac and they take their time to make sure they do a good job. Sometimes it takes a little longer than previous places I’ve gone to but I’m okay with that if it means my nails are going to look great.

Great salon and super friendly staff, very close to campus with affordable pricing. I've gone here since I was a freshman so almost 5 years and love when I get my nails done by Jenny... only down fall...
Great salon and super friendly staff, very close to campus with affordable pricing. I've gone here since I was a freshman so almost 5 years and love when I get my nails done by Jenny... only down fall is recently every time I get my pedicures I almost always have chipping within a week or have to go get them repainted which sucks because I can't always go back to a touch up and it never looks good when I try myself 😔

The entire staff here makes me feel very welcome every time I visit the store. There is a huge talent inside this little shop. I would recommend Lucky Nails to anyone.

Am not sure how they got the Daily Nebraskan's "best nail salon" award on their wall (other than its the only salon downtown by the University), but I read the negative reviews and still tried them. ...
Am not sure how they got the Daily Nebraskan's "best nail salon" award on their wall (other than its the only salon downtown by the University), but I read the negative reviews and still tried them. Pretty much the worst manicure I've ever received. Ground my shellac AND my own nail down and filed so hard my nail was moving back and forth, no cuticle work, and amateur at best polish job. So not worth the money...drive a little bit down O Street and go to a decent place like Shiny Nails, Davids Nails, or Fashion Nails. Ridiculous.

FYI, some of these negative reviews are from people who overreacted a little and the owners tried to do their best to accommodate them when they were busy. You'll get in for sure if you set up an appointment, but they get really busy at certain times so don't go at 5:00 on a Friday evening as a walk-in and then get mad at them because they can't get you in. Sometimes it's just impossible to get everyone in when the place is completely packed and there are only a couple of them able to do acrylics. They try really hard, though, trust me. I've been going to these two ladies for about a decade and I still have to be turned away sometimes when there's no possible way for them to get me in. This is a thriving, small, local business. They don't have 500 people working for them. Just be patient and plan ahead. 😊

They fix them for me no problem... Never had issues with my nails at all... I faithfully go every two weeks for a fill, pedi, and my eyes brows waxed

She made my big toe bleed the entire pedicure and just squirted acetone on it and acted like nothing happened.
