Well my nails looked cute until they started falling off not even 24 hours after I got them done. They werent put on good enough. It wasn't a big deal until I went back the next day to get it fixed and I was told to come back later. I shouldnt have to go to the nail salon 3 different times for some basic a** nails that they half ass did. I've never really had problems with them before but this just irritated me. Read Less

Got a full set and about 2 fills. Fills kept lifting after only 1.5 weeks. Got fungus on my real nails. This has NEVER happened to me. Thought, well, okay, I’ll go back and ask for a refund. They said it’s not their fault. That my hands are probably too wet and they get moisture under there. I work at an office. The most I get my hands we are in the shower. They nade no effort to fix anything or keep me as a returning customer. Not even advise on how to treat the fungus. Read Less

Worst place I've ever been to. They have no manners, no hospitality, and completely lack in customer service. Whoever did my nails, which seemed to be by the owner or whoever runs this junky place.. not once talked to me. Nor did she listen to me. She kept yanking my hand and ontop of that I wanted squoval shape for my nails and one of my thumb nails were round while the other was squoval. I will never ever be back here. She charged me $45 bucks and then of course she wanted a tip. This place use to be good, but now it's just run down. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This is by far THE best place for eyebrows. I've been to lots of places in Lincoln and they don't compare. I always leave there loving my eyebrows every single time. They really know what they're doing. And people always ask where I go and I gladly tell them! Highly suggest! Read Less

I was in there about 30 min. Had Shellec done. They lasted less then 10 days. Kept in heat cycle less than 60 sec after each coat. Needs 2 heat cycle of 60 sec after each coat to Make them last 2-3 weeks. They were not busy. I may go back. I have heard a lot of good things about this place. Read Less

Not so bad, the shop needs more cleaning not impressed. Nice employees but for the same price I can get a bottle of water, longer massages, pick lotion's scents and not least but most important keep my phone with me while they work on my toes she asked me tu put my phone in my purse Lol Read Less

I had a terrible experience at Hot nails on 27th and holdrege. A week ago I went to go get my nails done because everybody recommended them, needless to say I left not even an hour later $65 out of my pocket and very unsatisfied with the work. The first night my nails on my toes the polish started peeling off and the 3d flower that I paid extra for completely chipped off. The shellac on my nails was peeling off within the first two days and gone completely by the third day. T...hey were very rude up charged me over $20, didn't do all the things they said they were going to do. I had to go get them fixed which was another $50 at a different place that I was satisfied with. Went back in today to go see if I could get a gift certificate for some of my money back or a refund. The lady that I was talking to said that she couldn't do anything for me and the manager refused to even talk to me. As a business owner myself I would say that's pretty frowned upon. Love these guys and my nails always stay in, which is saying something because I am very hard on them. The designs they do are the best I've ever had in 30 years of having my nails done. My daughter and I have been going here for two years after trying several other places that just don't measure up to these guys. They are on the absolute opposite side of town from us, but worth fighting traffic for. The only itty-bitty thing that is not great is they keep getting busier as word spreads and don't always have a full staff, so they end up rushing and you end up waiting. Shellac and Full set nails are done very well and very professionally. Never had a bad nail job from them, however the salon definitely needs more ventilation, as the fumes from the chemicals are really noticable, almost to the point of wearing a mask. I came in on a Saturday after noon and wanted a mani pedi, I was promptly seated in a chair.  They did my mani with gelish polish while my pedi was being done. I asjed the lady twice to cut my nails shorter as I work with my hands...she almost seemed appalled that I wanted them short. These nails STAY ON!!I've been to several of Lincoln's inexpensive Vietnamese nail salons (there are quite a few), and this one has won me over.  They have the best pedicure massage chairs of the salons I've been to. Pedicures include peppermint foot bath, hot towel, & calf/foot massage.  2 wall-mounted HDTVs (always tuned to Ch. 10/11).  Waxing also offered. Occasionally, they'll offer you a free water or soda while you sit in a massage chair for the next available beautician.They always remember my name & what service I got last time, no matter how long it has been since my last visit. Here's an example of their service:  I showed up after a long, stressful day at work.  The lights were out.  The owner , Judy, walked out to my car, asked me what I needed, and (despite my insistence that "you're closed! you don't have to do this for me!") insisted on turning the lights back on and giving me a fill AND pedicure.  I was the ONLY ONE in the salon, & she stayed open for me, while her husband helped clean up.Your beautician may not speak perfect English, and it may not be in a wealthy part of town, but this salon makes me feel more like a queen than any other place in town.  I recommend it.
