I decided to look for a new nail salon that was closer to home. I looked up the best salons in Lincoln, & Happy Nails was one of the top 3 and right by my house. It seemed like a perfect switch, especially when I walked in. The place is well kept, clean, and the chairs are a lot nicer than other places. Also, they did one thing different that other salons don't which was wrapping the legs in warm towels. Needless to say, I felt comfortable and thought it was going to be a wonderful experience and that I'd found a new long term salon until I was up and my pedicure began.
Like a lot of places I've been, the salon had employees that didnt speak very good English... which was totally fine except throughout the duration of my visit they spoke in their language back and forth the ENTIRE time and were audibly louder than any other salon. Also, I have a fairy tattoo on my leg, and one of the employees waved a washcloth towards it as she walked by, scoffed, spoke in her language aloud, and I was given dirty looks once it was noticed by her and other employees. I even smiled at a different worker and she gave me an awful look before quickly looking away from me. I felt like I was 2 inches tall. I wasn't offered a design either, & thats something I'm use to elsewhere. I was exhausted mentally, physically, & emotionally & had just got off work after being up since 5am. I was hoping for a relaxing experience, but I left feeling hurt & confused. Happy Nails is NOT a "happy" environment in my opinion, and I won't be returning!!! Read Less
