I do not recommend this place at all!!!First of all, I asked for a full set of all white acrylics. The lady then sat me down in the chair and gave me French tip acrylic. It wouldn't have been a huge deal but I had homecoming he next day and I would've really appreciated it if my nails matched my dress and corsage. The lady was way too rough with my nails and filed them too much and they hurt so freaking bad. They STILL hurt. I told the lady that she didn't do what I asked her to. And she said "don't worry, french tip only 2 dollar more" UGHHH I decided not make a big deal about it. At least my nails aren't an ugly shade of some random color. It could be worse. But then the lady expected a huge tip after making me pay a little bit more for something I didn't even want (a full set is $28, A full set of acrylic is $30) I know it was only two dollars, but it was still extremely frustrating. Under the tips of my nails there is a bunch of glue UGH, and jut today I noticed there is chipping around the edges of the acrylic at the base of my nails, you can kinda see it in the picture. I got my nails done. She did an ok job on the acrylic nail part. Than I picked out my nail polish. She half assed the polish and It was streaky plus she messed up on one nail when it wasn't fully dry and she didn't fix any of the mistakes. Read Less

Not a good experience. First of all, I was told that manicure with regular polish was $10, but when I got there the man at the front desk said it was $15. Second, I had to keep asking the nail tech to file my nails correctly bc she'd spend less than 2 seconds in each nail. Third, while cleaning around my nails, I also had to point out that she missed some spots. Also, after painting my nails I had (again) to tell her to clean my nails better because there was still nail polish all over my fingers. I didn't have a very good experience here. I am new to the area so i am currently looking for a new nail salon. The lady just seemed to throw my nails together. There was glue all over my hands when i left and my nails looked like they were cut and painted. I was very clear i wanted them short and shaped due to having a little one. I have been a client of Sandy's nails for over 15 years. They do a fabulous job and take great pride in their services. The shop is clean and well ventilated and everyone is very professional. I love the pedi chairs that massage while having your feet pampered! They do acrylic and gel, and are true artists in nail art! I highly recommend Sandy's nails! Read Less

Absolutely terrible and do NOT recommend. I got a full set of acrylics and a pedicure, two different workers for each. The pedicure was actually wonderful! The guy that did is was really friendly and he was very gentle. However, for my acrylics, this was when I had issues. The lady was not gentle, and very rough. The shape is right, but I almost wish I had gone with square instead of almond. The filing she did cut my skin and it started bleeding (still hurts terribly). They're crooked and don't look nice at all. Not to mention she was very rude. The painting also looks rather terrible for a salon. I could have done MUCH better myself. I am either going somewhere else next time, or buying my own acrylic kit. I do not recommend going here. Read Less

I've been here about 5 times and have decided I won't be going back; for multiple reasons.The first being I paid 45 dollars plus tip for your every day average shellac pedi. Not even French tip. To me I think that is absurd. I've never paid that much anywhere unless it was a deluxe pedi with stones or extra perks. The second reason I won't be going back is I always feel very rushed. I was looking at the shellac colors for like 3 minutes and felt like I was given a death stare while the lady waited for me to choose. The final reason I will no longer be going here is because there are only 2 people that actually talk to you. When I go to get my nails done I'm going to feel pampered. I went recently and she said nothing more to me than your normal "wash your hands" , etc. I felt very awkward and almost like I was being a burden to them or something. Read Less

I've been going to sandy's nails since she's been at that location and I totally disagree. you must have caught someone on a bad day (which we all have). I always get complements on my nails and the people there are very professional. They try to do their jobs and still make pleasant with the customers. First time in the salon and i didnt like it one bit......there was a group of young girls who wanted to look pretty for a birthday concert......the employees there were very rude to them.....told one girl she couldnt get a design because her nails were "too small" SERIOUSLY?!?! Just give her a design!!!!! Ur getting paid extra to do that!!! And for my experience.....i went in on tuesday (5-10-16) and they were very rough on my hands.....(ive been to several nail places....none of which have EVER hurt me when filing my nails) and i got acrylic nails.....two days later its now thursday and a nail just pops off!!!! So i check them all to see if maybe it was just one nail that was lose or something.....no rhey ALL are very easy to take off..... Went there today for the 1st time, because I am trying to find a local nail salon who is local. All the reviews I read were good. Boy those reviews couldn't be more wrong!! The lady that I had was grouchy and not friendly whatsoever. I have never been to a salon that doesn't do what a client wants or for even trying to up sale a client. When she was finished, she lost her salon an extra $30+ for not wanting to do a shellac Polish, plus I always get a design so there was more money to be had, plus Polish from last fill that she didn't take all the way off along with a HORRIBLE Polish job that I'm ashamed of showing people my nails to. Absolutely amazing service. The owners are friendly, funny and great and helping you feel relaxed and comfortable. Extremely clean nail salon. They take their time to provide a great pedicure. I came in for a shellac manicure. I sat in the chair to see a sign saying cash or check only. I said I needed to go get some and she told me I could get cash after I'm done at an ATM two doors down. The shellac was nicely done. It looks better than shellac at my previous nail salon. I just took a star off for only accepting cash since I had to pay an ATM fee to pay them. Went in for a simple polish, and not 24 hours later the polish was already chipping off my nails. For $15 it is a complete rip-off. Moreover, the service was terrible, rudely pointing us off in different directions, and getting angry when we could not understand what they were saying. It is fine that they have an accent, but with the face mask as well, it makes it difficult to understand every direction. The one good thing that I can say is that the hand massage was nice. I come from Los Angeles, where we get great deals on nails and they STILL look good. So, when moved to Nebraska, I highly doubted that I would be able to find a place that could top what I had back home. I came to this place because it was conveniently located next to Target, the place I had to go AFTER my nails. Before I start on the negative what I did like about his place was that they seemed to know their regulars pretty well, talking up a storm with them and genuinely seeming interested in how they were, with that being said....they need to learn how to treat new incoming customers with the same warmth. I got a pedi and a full set. I asked the lady if they did 3d nails, I wasn't surprised when they said they didnt do that kind of thing there...what I WAS surprised about was what she said AFTER she said no.."We work hard here in Nebraska, not something we normally do or get here." Are you implying that because I am from Los Angeles I don't work hard? Excuse me for being high maintenance....STRIKE ONESo the lady shows me the different types of glittered tips and designed tips they have when I see the glittered powder... "Oh you have glittered powder! Awesome I will take that with white tips" her reply? " Oh sorry I have a customer coming in this week that will use that " Dude , that thing was FULL...how many nails did you think I have? I wont finish the ENTIRE tub of glittered powder.....STRIKE TWOSo the other lady starts working on my nails and knicks me...not once, BUT THREE FREAKIN TIMES! the first two I jerk my hand away, but by the third she had the NERVE to say "Its HOT huh?" No $h!t!!! So I wanted my nails oval tipped and short and she made them long and uneven. Oh and by the time my nails dried the lady took my stuff out of the chair before I even stood up, shoved it in my arms and was like,""You can leave now" TALK ABOUT SERVICE *insert sarcasm here*To top it all off I spend $60 bucks!?!? Excuse me? Your prices are WAY TOO HIGH for the quality you provide. Hell the place I normally get my nails in Claremont does them for $35 DESIGNS and ALL. We've lived in Bellevue 7 years.... I've gone to maybe 7 nail salons in the area and never have I ever been more pleased!!!  My daughter who's 5 & I went there and had a wonderful experience.  No one has ever spent so much time making sure the job was done RIGHT!!!  I'm proud to say I'm going to be a regular at Sandys & I will tell anyone eh will listen!!!! Just got a shellac there by "Sa." Sa is a perfectionist, kept comparing each hand to the other. She made my one broken thumbnail look longer by the way she painted it. Sa doesn't speak any English, but that doesn't bother me. I'm not there to chat. I had been going to Tom at Nails R Us right by Village Pointe and he was good but this is much more convenient for me. I will continue to visit this salon. It was $35 not including tip and took just under an hour. I made an appointment but they allow walk-ins. Sandy's Nails is right next to the Hallmark store. This place is horrid. My daughter and I went to go get a full set of nails. The cost was 60 bucks for two sets.They tagged teamed us with multiple people working on our nails. They did not file our nails before putting on the tips. They were extremely rude through the whole appointment, as much as talking in a foreign language to each other and laughing.My daughters nails broke within 4 days and mine within 6 days. I have had my nails done many times before at other places and have never had nails break so fast or had such awful service in my life!Save you money and go somewhere else. Read Less
