The people are friendly, but I felt rushed through my pedicure. The lady who worked on my nails was very skilled but because she went so fast the quality of work was poor. Don't waste your money here.

I visited this place based on their same day availability. On my first visit I had my usual gelish manicure, which I've had many times at other local salons in Billings. Enough times to know the process and quality. This salon offers the service, however their nail techs are not trained properly of at all. The man that did it on my first visit was new, and had other techs watching over him. It became clear he didn't know what he was doing when he started to add on multiple and random layers, and was also using UV lights rather than just air dry with a fan. My nails turned out sandy/grainy feeling and none of the employees were correcting him, likely because they aren't familiar with the process either. After a couple weeks I needed my nails done again, I should've known better than to go back but every other salon was closed or booked due to it being memorial day. So I made a same day appt for 12:30. Showed up 5 min early but they were short handed and obviously over booked so I wasn't seen until 12:55. I had a different tech this time so I felt okay about it. Shortly after beginning the gelish manicure it was obvious she wasn't sure about the process. She had a difficult time removing the old manicure, which they advertise that it comes off in minutes. And probably would have if the guy before knew was he was doing. When she was cutting my nails she made me bleed from cutting too short, and instead of cleaning/sanitizing the tool she used she just put it back in her box. With my blood on it. Then put super glue on the wound and told me to go wash with water only. There were no towels to dry my hands so I came back with them wet and she asked me why there were no towels. She started to put the gelish layers on and once she was almost finished she started spraying rubbing alcohol on them, removing and clouding the paint. I couldn't believe it was happening again. She started to get worried so she called someone because no one at the salon knew what to do. She ended with a regular gloss layer of polish rather then following the gelish dip process. Put me under UV lights again and started on the next person who was clearly irritated it had taken so long to be seen. I was in the chair for an hour and a half. It should only take an hour at most. One of my nails was bright blue under the lights while the rest were the paint color. The tech charged me FULL PRICE for the service which shocked me. She also didn't clean the tools before she started using them on the next girl. It took all I had not to let me have a piece of my mind, but I didn't want to make a scene. I did not tip her and left upset which she could tell. They may know how to do some services at this salon but gelish dip is not one and they should not offer it.

I've had my nails done here twice. My nails were beautiful both times! The ladies are friendly and kind. I saw the owner do a handicapped lady's nails when I was in there. When the lady went to pay, the owner said"No charge. Have a good say." ! The atmosphere is also lovely. I highly recommend them!

Nail techs do not perform up to my standards...5 Nails broke off within 1 week of having a full set put on...i usually never have any Nails break off...have worn acrylic nails for years.

I love the pedicures!! The girls are all very happy & well dressed. They great you as soon as you come in. Make an appointment or you'll have to wait a few hours, yes it's that good. I always get a gel pedi $55. They use a exfoliating scrub, hot towels & cooling gel all before the massage. Those little extras really make the difference. The pedi area has 6 chairs, perfect size & nice atmosphere.

My mom and I both absolutely love going to sensation Nails and Spa. Tracy and the crew there are so much fun, and we always end up laughing the whole time. They do a beautiful job, and are lightning-fast. I am constantly getting compliments on my nails! If you're a local, try to get in on a weekday, as they are incredibly busy with out-of-towners on Saturday. Great prices, great service, and always lots of giggles. :-)

I have been going to Tracy at sensation for well over a year now. She does an absolute fantastic job. A friend of mine goes to Jon and her nails are just as perfect! I used to go to Davi In Walmart but for some reason they always broke! Ever since I've gone to sensation I've never had a problem and will not go anywhere else. I also want to add, that sensation spa is very passionate about their customer service. If you are unhappy, let them know and I know they are always willing to fix it, just see Tracy or Jon.

This nail salon was THE WORST salon I have ever been to. They do not talk to you, they continuously talk and giggle amongst themselves in VIETNAMESE..talk about being RUDE!!! No eye contact, nothing. They asked me if the last nail tech I used was AMERICAN, when I said yes, they chatted in VIETNAMESE and laughed giving me the impression that they thought that THEIR work was far superior to anything an AMERICAN can do. I do not recommend this nail place, not what I would call a salon for all the money in the world. A very cold and unbecoming HOLE in the wall. The floors were very dirty too! ICK

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The girls are so friendly and they do a great job at a very reasonable price. The place is very clean and well maintained. I almost always do a walk in instead of making an appointment and they remember me every time! During busy hours, it can be a wait but if you aim for off hours you can usually walk right in. They even let me bring in my whole bridal party to have a day before the wedding celebration while we all got our nails done for the big show. Great place!

I have been a client since they opened. The spa is by far the best in Billings. It is clean and manned by very professional staff. In my 26 years in Billings I have tried dozens of salons and spa's. None could provide the perfect acrylic set of nails regardless of who did your service.mTracy is my primary nail tec, however over the past three years,, Jon and Kim have also done my nails as well as other staff. I have gotten always gotten a perfect set. Their prices are in line or lower than most salons in town. They offer a variety of priced pedicures and nail services. The convenience of walk in service more times than not is an excellent service. Tracy and Jon run a five star spa. I will continue to refer them.Carmella Grill

I am constantly getting compliments on my nails and they ask who does them. I am always quick to refer Tracy and Jons shop. They are quick, efficient, and I find them reasonably priced. I've been coming to Sensations for well over two years and I felt immediately comfortable here and made to feel welcome. I had been going to this nail salon for the last two years. I went in for a normal two week fill and I one of the owners put me with a lady who had to be new at nails because mine looked awful! They were crooked and she made me bleed in a few places and the nail art looked like my 3 year old son just did it. Anyway I let one of the owners know how displeased I was ( his name is Jon) he said he would fix it and to come back, keep in mind I have been going to this place for two years and this was my first complaint ever. So a couple days later when I found the time I went back Jon's wife was there and I informed her of the situation and what she told me I couldn't believe! She said they looked alright and if I expected any better that it was unrealistic. I told her that her husband told me they didn't look good and that he would fix them, she then told me to leave and come back when he was there. I went back later that night and sat down with Jon to get my nails fixed ( while his wife sat in the back and talked about me to everyone that worked there not knowing that I could make out what she was saying ( I speak enough Chinese so I could make out most of the awful things she was saying) Jon fixed my nails and then charged me another 25 on top of the 35 he charged me two days prior. Stay away!!!! Greedy awful people!

I am a licensed manicurist from Washington state and have high expectations when it comes to sanitation and was so happy to find a clean, sanitary environment at Sensation. Tina was so friendly and thorough during my entire pedicure. I will definitely be frequenting this salon due to the treatment I received today..

( This is a yelp from my wife) Zero stars.... Had an appointment at 1030, received no acknowledgment when I came in the door. Sat down for 15 mins, was then signaled to my chair still not talked to and then soaked 15 minutes, finally left at 11:00when they reached for a nail light to finish gel nails on another customer. Will never return.

We called at 9 am for appointment and were told to come at 1pm. We arrive on time (5 min early) to pick nail colors and were told to go sit on a couch and they started service on another couple. We walked out, there isn't a reason to make an appointment if walking in trumps those who plan their day around and scheduled visit.

I hated the last time I went there! Horrible! The guy decided not to redo my nails but keep the white top and just go over it. After one day my real nail was showing through and it looked like I never got my nails done. Worst money I ever spent! On top of it, he was extremely weird and uncomfortable to talk to. By the end of it, he was asking me if I would cheat on my husband.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The girls are so friendly and they do a great job at a very reasonable price. The place is very clean and well maintained. I almost always do a walk in instead of making an appointment and they remember me every time! During busy hours, it can be a wait but if you aim for off hours you can usually walk right in. They even let me bring in my whole bridal party to have a day before the wedding celebration while we all got our nails done for the big show. Great place!

I have been a client since they opened. The spa is by far the best in Billings. It is clean and manned by very professional staff. In my 26 years in Billings I have tried dozens of salons and spa's. None could provide the perfect acrylic set of nails regardless of who did your service.mTracy is my primary nail tec, however over the past three years,, Jon and Kim have also done my nails as well as other staff. I have gotten always gotten a perfect set. Their prices are in line or lower than most salons in town. They offer a variety of priced pedicures and nail services. The convenience of walk in service more times than not is an excellent service. Tracy and Jon run a five star spa. I will continue to refer them.Carmella Grill

Tracy, her husband Jon and their staff do an excellent job of not only accommodating the many clients they handle in a day, they do a beautiful job on your nails. I am constantly getting compliments on my nails and they ask who does them. I am always quick to refer Tracy and Jons shop. They are quick, efficient, and I find them reasonably priced. I've been coming to Sensations for well over two years and I felt immediately comfortable here and made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend Tracy, Jon or anyone on their staff for nail or pedicure services. Susie

I had been going to this nail salon for the last two years. I went in for a normal two week fill and I one of the owners put me with a lady who had to be new at nails because mine looked awful! They were crooked and she made me bleed in a few places and the nail art looked like my 3 year old son just did it. Anyway I let one of the owners know how displeased I was ( his name is Jon) he said he would fix it and to come back, keep in mind I have been going to this place for two years and this was my first complaint ever. So a couple days later when I found the time I went back Jon's wife was there and I informed her of the situation and what she told me I couldn't believe! She said they looked alright and if I expected any better that it was unrealistic. I told her that her husband told me they didn't look good and that he would fix them, she then told me to leave and come back when he was there. I went back later that night and sat down with Jon to get my nails fixed ( while his wife sat in the back and talked about me to everyone that worked there not knowing that I could make out what she was saying ( I speak enough Chinese so I could make out most of the awful things she was saying) Jon fixed my nails and then charged me another 25 on top of the 35 he charged me two days prior. Stay away!!!! Greedy awful people!

I walked in today for a pedicure thinking there was no way they would be able to accommodate me on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised as they got me in immediately. I am a licensed manicurist from Washington state and have high expectations when it comes to sanitation and was so happy to find a clean, sanitary environment at Sensation. Tina was so friendly and thorough during my entire pedicure. I will definitely be frequenting this salon due to the treatment I received today..

( This is a yelp from my wife) Zero stars.... Had an appointment at 1030, received no acknowledgment when I came in the door. Sat down for 15 mins, was then signaled to my chair still not talked to and then soaked 15 minutes, finally left at 11:00when they reached for a nail light to finish gel nails on another customer. Will never return.
