Went here for the first time today and got a French gel manicure and deluxe gel pedicure. The ladies that waited on me were so friendly and did a great job! Love the end result! They were a little pricier than what I’m used to paying ($80 total + tip) but I feel I definitely got my money’s worth! I will definitely be a repeat customer and highly recommend this salon. Me and my grandma just went here to get out nails done for my aunt and uncles wedding and I was impressed. Best nail place yet! I can't stop looking at them! My girl was nice too. 5 stars! Also if the staff reads this, I was the one who got 5-4, glow at in the dark. Read Less

Not sure what happen here,  maybe new management, but gone are the fresh set of sterilized tools. My nails were filed more than I like. I decided to give it one more try (mistake). While on the phone, my manicurist scraped my old gel polish and she ripped right through my nail to the quick. I will never go back. Read Less

M&D is my preferred nail place for pedis. The spa is clean and I watch them clean the basins after a customer and I am always confident about the steps they go through to Sanitize. Great place, but when I told the woman what shape I wanted (Almond), she gave me Coffin shaped. I told her that I don't want that because I always end up scratching my daughter so I need then to have a soft tip like almond. She tried to convince me out of it, and no offence, but that's not what I asked for. Then I told her the almond shape was unevenly done, and she still told me I was wrong. I wasn't, they are still crooked. I love the place, but I hope to have a different nail technician next time. Read Less

This is my favorite nail salon and have been many of times! Everyone is so nice and friendly! This past experience was not as good my previous ones. It was really busy and the staff was trying to get people in and out in a timely manner (which I greatly appreciate) however, my nails suffered due to the rush of staff. I got home and the powder was stuck to my skin and wasn't filed down enough around the edges of my nail. Hopefully soon there will be more color options for the powder dip! This place is horrible don't go there I brought a picture in they still could not do what I ask for all the male nail tech said to me was the nail was to expensive for me I don't think that the so called nail tech should dictate what goes in and out of my pockets I won't be returning to this rasict Establishment ever again. This was my 1st Mani & Pedi ever! It was a surprise, was told we were having a "girls lunch" but instead was taken here! I was nervous to say the least, especially for the pedi. OMG why did I wait so long! I explained to the lady my issues with my feet & she was very patient & gentle, can't remember last time my feet felt this good! I have been into the shop multiple times for pedicures and have gotten a variety of nail technicians.  I cannot tell you that any one of them is better then the other, all did a great job.  The shop is small but very, very clean and well organized.  I have just always had the most pleasant experience.  The prices are very average and there is never any pressure to upgrade to any more then you want to spend. This is in response to a post by Marlene Jennings (St. Louis) about M & D Nails. She stated that her nails were "horrible" but waited 5/6 days to come into the shop to complain. I say to her, "Why did you even walk out the door and not say something right then and there that you were dissatisfied" I know the owners would have been more than happy to work with you to fix the problem." WE all know that when we get our nails done with regular polish, that depending on what w...e do with our fingers that there will be some chipping. The rougher you are with your hands, the more apt the polish is going to chip. If you want a longer lasting wear,,,get the gel nails. This lady was very rude to Lana and instead of politely asking if on her next visit if they would give her a discount, she demanded that they take $10.00 off her next service. But as she commented, she wasn't going to return. I say "good bye to bad rubbish". Not only was she rude. she even posted a racist remark which I am not going to repeat. If you read her statement you saw it. I have been going to M & D for several years and intend to do so. This lady's remarks were cruel and uncalled for. Since she did not get her demands met I believe she went home and vented her rage on FB. If you read her remarks, I say ignore and consider the source from which it came. A happy client. A friend and I went to M&D today on a whim and found out that it is under new ownership. The new owners, Lana and Lin, were extremely nice and accommodating and talented. My nails, and my friend's nails, looked fantastic. I have been to many of the nail salons in Wentzville and this was far and away the best experience I've had. I have a new favorite. Read Less

The lady who does nail is very rude, disrespectful, did terrible job to my nails and she couldn't even fit it. I has to go another salon and has to redo my nails. She cannot communicate properly. I would not recommend anyone to go this place ever. Very RUDE employees!!!! Read Less
