Yesterday I received my first facial and my first waxing and I’m lucky to have had Meghan F as my esthetician! She was absolutely amazing, made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns with my face. She worked magic on my blackheads and now my face is GLOWING! Wow! Toni is amazing! Best blowout ever! Definitely schedule with Toni. I had a terrible experience in the past here but Toni is amazing. I would definitely avoid Lisa though if I were you!

I came in for a blow out - the stylist LISA washed my hair, blow dried my hair, did not round brush so she had to curl it... when checking out tells me I have a specialty style... and a length charge!... Read More

So this is my first review and I wish I could have made my first review a positive one. Which maybe I should have posted my first review with my first appointment here because the esthetician was so nice and did an amazing job, probably the best brow wax I ever had. Unfortunately the second visit didn’t got well at all. I actually never go to my visit. Today, 11/4, I was scheduled to have a 4:00 facial. Around 3:15 I received a phone call that I missed from beauty brands but ...no message was left. I arrive right at 4 for my appointment and am told that it will be closer to 4:30 which I was a smidge annoyed with but thought ok a little time to relax and shop around, so I did. Well 4:30 rolls around and I still have not started my appointment. So I go sit down. At about 4:45 my esthetician peaks her head around the corner and asked if I’m her facial I said yes and she said ok and then continues to cut her current clients hair. If my appointment needed to be pushed back they should have left a message when they called so I didn’t sit around wasting my time or just canceled the appointment. Unfortunately because of the lack of customer service I walked out. I have never ever done that. I work in the customer service industry and usually can give everyone the benefit of the doubt but after being almost an hour late...the customer service no longer exists. So sad and frustrating. So this is my first review and I wish I could have made my first review a positive one. Terrible nail salon. Will never go back. $40 gel manicure by Tanys peeled off within 5 days while I was on vacation and had to get them redone in Paris. Upon my return they would not remove my polish as it was done in a foreign country and Rochelle, Assistant Manager, told me to go across the street to Nail Pros to have the polish removed and only offered 20% off my next service. Have had numerous bad experiences here and don't plan on returning. The employees are absolutely rude and are never willing to help. They never stick to there word.

I am writing the customer service for beauty brands too so this is not just a random rant.  Today was one of the worst customer experiences ever.  Being a brand new mom of a 10week old I was really looking forward to doing some minor things to make me feel a little more back to normal and pretty again ... not just a tired out mommy look.  So I scheduled for my haircut and eyelashes to be put on through the online service which is a bonus bc it's easy.  However the outcome was not good.  The appointment was for 1:15pm and I wasn't sat down to meet with my stylist until 1:40pm.  I had timed it around my 10week olds nap and thank God he cooperated.  That was my first impression of the salon as I had never been there and I find it extremely rude and unprofessional to run that late.  I made the commitment to be on time for my appointment and I get things happen but really 25min?? So then while I'm getting my hair done another woman comes and asked do I have my eyelashes; ummmm what? No where on the appointment website was it said I provide my own eyelashes. Additionally I have never ever had to provide my own eyelashes for this service anywhere else I have been to prior.  So she advises me to go to sally beauty supply bc beauty brands doesn't even have them.  I'm frustrated but I hate causing a scene and I really just wanted to feel pretty going out after just having a baby so I did what she said and went and got my own supplies for them to use.  At this point everything is extremely behind but I'm trying to hang in so come back with lashes and another woman comes out to put them on for me.  What happens next? She doesn't know what she is doing apparently and could not perform the task and tried to blame it on it just isn't sticking to your eyelashes.  Ummm what?? That's why I came here to beauty brands bc they stated they provided this service.  So in the end i left frustrated and have now spent extra $ on lashes Which I cannot use bc she tried to do them but couldn't so they are essentially used. She even said maybe you can take them back; ummm what?? No one is going to take eyelashes back once it has been removed from packaging and put to someone's eye!!! I just left and am now left frustrated and with no eyelashes and no time to make another appointment somewhere else.  It was a nightmare experience where I just wanted to again feel confident and back to "me" for the event tonight after just having a baby.  Now I'm debating even going and staying home sounds so much better. The first time I went in the girl did an ok job on my hair but instead of taking care of me at a set appointment she tried coloring me in between other appointments so she could leave at a good hour. She left bleach in my hair too long and fried my hair pretty much. Aside from that it still looked decent. It was a good price I guess. So this weekend I went to get a new color made my appointment for 4 on Sunday. I received a call at 2 saying there was a mistake with the booking. So instead of telling me earlier in the day so I could try booking something else they gave me 2 hour notice. There was no other openings. If you can't manage to even keep your booking straight and fry someone's hair... You probably shouldn't be in a salon. Read Less

I am a huge fan of Beauty Brands. I love that they can give you the salon feel without the salon prices. I've been here for products, waxing, color, and cut. Most recently I went in to get my hair colored and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. My stylist, Cyndi, was very open to my ideas and helped me decide exactly what I wanted. I went with a Violet/Red and it turned out SO good. I love that in the light you can really see the different dimensions of the colors. I change my hair up a lot so it is nice to know I can go to beauty brands and still get great service without having to pay outrageous prices.I also love that they have such extensive product selection. Most salons only carry one brand or line, if you are there you can explore different products from hair to makeup and styling tools. I would recommend this place for sure. And I know I'll be back again soon! Read Less
