Jenny is the worst she jacks the price up at least20 dollars. Hates when you used the massage chairs while getting a pedicure and when you ask her to do what you like to your nails and feet says uhhhhhh and still does it her way. Maybe that's how she's getting all 4 of her kids through college! Off the backs of hard working folks like me.. Just know that me my mom, aunts and friends will be going to Bahamas nails in maplewood/Richmond heights for better service without the jacked up prices. She definitely needs zero stars! Read Less

Great manicure, lovely and fun color choices.  I went with a new line called Cat's Eye. So vibrant! 2 weeks layer they still look great except for the inevitable regrowth.Prices on par with other salons in the area. Read Less

I had to ask so many times to have the lady file my nails down to get them even/round and I still ended up with several acrylic nails that weren't rounded and they were all different lengths. At first the lady was seriously going to paint my nails WITHOUT FILING THE EDGES DOWN AT ALL!! Seriously the worst experience ever. I went here for Mother's Day with a few family members and it was a little sad. I paid for the $25 pedicure (cooling jell, exfoliating scrub, and a massage with essential oils). The lady didn't talk at all to me. She rubbed my feet and legs in the same spot over and I over to where my skin started to become irradiated. When she painted my feet, she did a very light coat and it was all over my skin. I think next time I get asked to go to this one, I'll pass. Read Less

Being in serious need of a manicure before a friend's wedding, I visited TJ's based upon a co-worker's recommendation. While the owner's welcome was friendly, the woman who gave my gel manicure was nothing short of surly. She made several cuticles bleed (one quite badly) and admonished me for having "no nails". When she was done, she offered a hand/lower arm massage which I politely declined.  Upon leaving, I noticed polish was left on the skin around my nails despite the fact that the nails themselves were not completely covered. Though my manicure is barely one week old, the gel on some nails is already pulling up. I appreciate the owner's friendliness and wish her well, but my one visit to her salon will be my last. I had a great pedicure with a nice long massage for 30$. However, due to what I observed taking place during an eyebrow wax while my nails were drying, I will not return. DO NOT GET A WAX HERE. I watched the technician dipping the stick into the wax warmer time after time, and on top of that, each time the technician was applying and removing the strip, she placed the other end of the stick in her MOUTH. They store a few used sticks in a glass and then use them on multiple customers. I saw three eyebrow waxes using the same two sticks, while here. I seriously doubt they are taking the proper precautions with any equipment after seeing that. Read Less

This nail salon was recommended to me by a friend. I love the family feel of this location. Very welcoming, quiet and comfortable. Vivian gave me a wonderful gel manicure and pedicure. I rarely feel like I will fall asleep during these service because most of the time I feel rushed in larger establishments, but I literally almost fell asleep twice. Big thumbs up to TJ Nails! I have been going to TJ's Nails for several years. In recent months, I've been purchasing Groupon certificates for other various nail salons to save some money. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." I finally decided last week that it was not worth saving a few dollars to get a poor manicure or pedicure, especially in not-so-clean salons. TJ's is very clean. The staff there is friendly and efficient. And the services are top notch. It is very professionally run and the prices are comparable to most other salons. Personally, I recommend Nini, but I know all the manicurists are great. My only criticism is that they could use more selection of polish colors. Read Less

Love T J's Nails! I just got a french manicure and pedicure that was fantastic. Vivian did an excellent job free-hand painting my tips. Perfect!
