I have been coming here for many years. I've always had a positive experience. They really listen to what I want and are very consistent. I also feel comfortable about the cleaning techniques used for their tools. I feel confident knowing all of the tools are sanitized. Everyone is always very friendly and accommodating. I just got finished getting my nails done at this shop spending 50$ here and I have never been treated so poor it's ridiculous .I got a full set gel nail & my toes polished (baby doll) color to be exact .Once finished with my full set I was asked to go sit in one of the pedicure chairs to get my toes painted a ladie walked up and said it's going to be 8 $ u pay me now I said ummm ok I can do that blank stare now I payed for my nails after completion that was issue #1.So I'm sitting for 10 min with 4 Techs just talking and laughing like I wasn't a waiting customer issue #2 .so the ladie finally comes over with a bothered face like why are u here and why do I haft to be the one to paint your nails? I'm looking like I just paid you to do a service like what is the problem ? Thinking to myself...so I turns on my google speaker bc as she proceeded to take my old polish off she started frowning her face like she had seen a dead body or something and my google phones says this..why did u ask me to paint this black ladies toes she's filthy she needs to take a bath and all the other workers from the owner was laughing she says I wish black people would not come in here if they do we need to have them in the back of shop in hiding bc they make our shop look bad and the other workers proceeded to laugh and would even purposely walk past me to laugh one of the ladies say filthy animals and more laughter she proceeded to talk about the color I chose how ppl of color should where only dark colors and the pink I chose is not a color for me my google is still going ....as I'm sitting there in this racist establishment just at a disbelief and furious thinking when are they going to stop the bulling,the name calling ,etc..I turns my google voice speaker off and tell my husband that dropped me off thinking I would be in good hands to come pick me up immediately that I had to leave asap bc I am in a shop where the employees except for the Caucasian ladie that didn't have a clue what was going on bc she prob does not know or aware of what there saying and the owner are racist and I told him they don't want black ppl in their shops or want us here that I was on dangerous ground and that I needed to go !!! She then asks me is everything ok ??? I said let me tell you something you don't treat your customers like that if you had a problem doing a job then you should not have done so I told her that I'm glad I have tough skin or else I would be pretty devistated that she and her owner and staff was racist and that no one should ever be treated or feel so offended in their life & how dare you treat a human being in this manner or fashion she said nothing I told her I will never ever step foot in their establishment or any like it for that matter please everyone share this review this has got to stop no one should be treated like this ever .. no one apologized the owner just acted like nothing ever happened .it's just sad I'm not sure how these ppl sleep at night help stop this immediately no one deserves to be treated like trash bc of the color of their skin please be aware of what type of business you are spending your hard earned money with thanks for reading ! I've tried this salon for pedicures twice. Both times, without asking, my nails were cut down very short leaving very little nail and a very stubby look. This time they were shaped uneven too, meaning to fix them I'll have to file them ever shorter. I could have given myself a better pedicure. To top it all off, my technician literally hovered over me as I left the tip. I felt pressured to leave a good tip despite being completely dissatisfied with the services received. Read Less

Can work on customer service. I went in for the first time & was not at all pleased with the attitude of woman doing my nails. She kept yanking & twisting my hands and feet as if I was a child. Most places I go to just tap u if they need you to moved or change positions. She also cut my pinkie toe and didn’t remove polish of my skin on my toe. I just went home to clean up my feet. When I saw the polish on my finger I asked for a different color because it was too light she got an attitude & brought me a really dark color. Awful. Made an appointment a month ago to have our bridal party in this morning... We get there and they are full. We all had to wait and go at different times. What's the point of an appointment when they let anyone who walks in the door take your spot?!?! Furthermore, the majority of the wedding party was not happy with their nails. If I could give zero stars I would. First time ever I didn't tip. Everything that could've went wrong, did. I was not being picky nor did I ask for anything major. But they did horrible. Amy and the other guy, the two main managers or leaders weren't there, I had three people try to work on me. I left mad and didn't even get what I wanted at all. And they didn't even try to make a compromise with me or anything. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. When Amy and the other guy is there, it's much better. I've been going to Nail Crew for a few years now because I've generally always had a good experience. (That's why I gave 2 stars, instead of 1.) I went in on my only day off to get a mani/pedi. The lady I had did not talk to me once. She kept laughing and giggling to another pedicurist next to her. She wasn't even LOOKING at my feet half the time!!!!! She clipped them and put lotion on my legs and proceeded to beat my legs when I obviously have bruises on my legs. She tried to get my mani done as fast as possible... I had some stuff under my thumb nail that she didn't even bother to get out. She didn't clip the cuticles. She ate part of an apple on the job. I was stressed out and angry getting my nails done, when getting your nails done is something you're supposed to do to pamper yourself. I tip fairly large but I was enraged by the service I was getting. When I went up to tip, I said $5. The lady who rang me out said... only $5? So I said... okay $8. She said, .....oh only $8? Will not be coming back here again. Decided to take a chance since it is near my house and was way less than satisfied. I came in as a walk-in and told the young man I needed a FILL-IN . As we walked to the station he asked was it dip or polish I had on already I explained dip. The communication ended there and instead of a fill in was forced to get a whole new full set. He didn't even apologize for the mistake or mishap. Now fuming (because I knew he would try to charge for a full set I bit my tongue). He continued to do my nails and realized one of them wasn't exactly even and powder was too thin ...I saw him look at it several times and yet in still never tried to fix it or correct it...now getting so angry I'm fighting myself to calm down. He finishes up, and asked for payment. Maybe if he spent a little more time paying attention to me instead of giggling the ENTIRE duration of doing my nails all mistakes would've been avoided. I paid and left as not to cause a huge scene. I debated whether to even post upon here or not but I had to voice my disappointment somewhere. They are excellent!!!! I am so glad I switched places. they are all so friendly and always do a great job.. definitely the best pedicure I have ever had... I drive 25 minutes just to see them and it is well worth it.. I do recommend making an appointment. Read Less

Today was my 2nd visit to this location of Nail Crew. I specifically chose Nail Crew because I love the dipping powder manicures and not all salons have them. I had previously gone to the Cottleville location and loved them! I made a 6pm appt to ensure I was done in enough time to get my kiddo fed and in bed. I informed them when I arrived that I had a 6pm appt and nobody verified and they just told me to sign in. I proceeded to wait 30 minutes and watch multiple people serviced before me. The sign in sheet asks if you have an appt but anyone can put "yes" if nobody is actually verifying. The nail tech was clearly irritated by me asking about their appt/walk in policy.  He was also irritated that I asked that he not use a drill to remove my old polish due to my nail sensitivity and I asked to just to let them soak. The smart thing would have been for him to let my nails soak while doing the pedicure I also made an appt for. After 45 min he finished and I had a ton of gooey residue on my nails and hands. Then I received my extremely rushed pedicure. After I informed the lady tech of my dissatisfaction, she started to give me friendly customer service but at that point I was highly annoyed and ready to go. I will likely not return here. I have been going here for a couple years now and when I first started going I was always happy with my experience with the particular lady I went to. One day she left and no one told me where she went so I stayed because I didn't know where else to go. The owner is great and very talented but she is always booked. Lately I've been going to anyone who can get me in and I'm very disappointed in my last experience. The lady who helped me was not very friendly. I asked for a particular shape (which I already had).. she filled them to be square then charged me to get them back to the shape they were.. one hand has shorter nails than the other because they were crooked and she kept filing. I was so annoyed that I just wanted to get out of there. It happened to be the day that I recommended 2 friends to come in with me. One of them got in way before the other while another woman who worked there was SLEEPING ON THE COUCH in the front of the salon. One of them also had a bad experience with how her nails turned out. Most of the staff does a good job on nails. There are a few that did a horrible job but most are good. Unfortunately if you do a walk in, you do not know what you will get. When I found someone that consistantly did a good job I began making reservations for her. The wait would be a half hour or more even with a reservation. To me this is unacceptable. The wait without a reservation was about the same. What's the point in having a reservation?!? Because of this I am giving a bad review and unfortunately will look for another salon that understands the importance of time. Read Less

Awful service and awful results. Was charged $22 for a fill, I paid with my check-card, and included an $8 tip which made the total amount $30. The next day, my online bank record reflected that 'Nail Crew' had adjusted my check-card transaction an additional $15. I called my bank and learned that the additional $15 was split between the nail-fill cost and the tip. My bank's fraud department issued me a new check-card, then recovered the total amount for both the initial and adjusted transactions. Needless to say, I never went back. Read Less
