I have long natural nails, as soon as I walked in I greeted and said how I wanted my own nails redone in gel, the lady immediately became rude and only stated thats $50. I don’t know why she was automatically rude, normally i pay 35-40 for my own. I chose this place for a pedicure because it was conveniently located. My first impression was that it's a nice and clean salon. However, the entire time I was getting my pedicure, I felt very uncomfortable. The nail tech was not friendly at all and made me feel very awkward with some of the things she was saying. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never had such bad service. The icing on the cake was when I was signing the debit receipt and she stood over me as I signed. I was going to tip 18% and not 20% (this takes a lot for me to do because I've been a waitress before and relied on tips) but I believe she only deserved 18% and that was being nice. As I was putting my tip on the tip line, she started shouting at me to tip her more. I couldn't believe this was actually happen. By this point, I was ready to just get out of there. Went for the first time and loved it. Had a mani/pedi and they did an awesome job. They took their time and did not rush. The salon did not have a bad stuffy odor (like most nail salons) and the salon was very clean. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Read Less

My nails looked so mf cute got lots of compliments...... the reason why I put 3 stars tho is because my gel nail polish started peeling off literally the day after. They have been open for two years and I'm just finding out about this place! Super friendly staff and a very nice interior. They also have two chairs for little girls which is a plus for me. The few times I've been I've had different nail techs and they are all great. My last time there Brandy was awesome doing my fill! Highly recommend!! Read Less

I guarantee anyone who gives less than a 4 star rating is just mad cause they had to pay more than what their budget allowed. It’s not expensive at all for what you get.. great healthy nails from friendly people. If you want $15 set of acrylic nails then go to the dirty salons that treat you like a herd of cattle. I went here a couple times because the good nail salons where packed ! My nails where uneven and my natural nails where filed down so much they actually hurt . They also charged me $15 extra just to get a tip painted on my nails but the first time I went it was only $10 . They change their prices on you all the time . They rush their work , I ended up leaving with nails I didn’t like . I paid $36 for a full set that looked hideous, my fingers where in pain and I didn’t even get the design I wanted. If you know what a good manicure should look like you would not give this place a 5 star ..... I do not recommend. To expensive for the work they do. Not worth it . Will not be going back . Pluses: zero wait time, friendly nail tech, clean-looking salon and reasonable pricing ($10 for a polish change including gel removal). I docked two stars because my nails still have tons of flecks of the gel polish. She knew I just wanted a clear coat from the beginning so I would've expected her to take much better care to remove all traces of the old polish. No such luck. Pretty terrible customer service. The guy who started my nails, gave up after shaping one nail because I told him I didn't want it that shape. He said, someone else would have to do them. This was an outing with my girlfriend, so he left my nail desk and started on someone else. Another person didn't come tend to me until my friend was almost finished with her manicure. Normally I would say I love itsince this is the only place I go to in the South Arlington area. I normally get pampered very well and I have not been stuck in the broken chair in ages but yesterday I did. With the billions of other chairs available, I am not sure why they stuck me in the one that doesnt work right. Also I paid for a 45 minute pedi, normally I go longer but I didn't want to chance being late to work, but got less than 30. I timed it and was quite disappointed. No one was waiting for a service either. I did not say anything. I was not offered a new punch card either. This is my favorite nail salon in Saint Charles. I came in for a gel manicure today, and I was seated with an extremely minimal wait. I got a chrome color, which took extra work, but I still was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The color looks amazing and was so carefully applied. I'm super impressed! Usually I would give this place a 5. I've been going here since I moved in December. Today, I had a not so pleasant experience. The person that did my nails seemed very uninterested, and rushed. They pulled my arm all the way across the table to work. The position was super uncomfortable, and then would quickly push my hands away every time, then told me to relax. Hard to relax that way. Awesome place... I loved it. I used to go to the skyline nails in Fort Worth but they are always busy but didn't know they weren't connected to each other and not the same chain. My husband I went to get our pre vacation mani's/pedi's recently. Hubs received fantastic service, me however not so much. I felt like my service was rushed and the lack of attention to detail was not there. I told my tech that my toes were a train wreck and needed attention. Also to cut and shape each toe so that they were even and no sharp corners. Did that happen NO! Not to mention she did not clean underneath the nail beds I like to call the "toe jam". The massage was fast and not soothing. A day later my toes are a hot mess! The services that we chose were $46 each and I selected gel nail color. Hubs received a mani. I normally go to Maggie but she was busy so I went with the first available and I tried telling her the powder didn't cover my nail fully but she wasn't listening so instead of arguing I just paid and let it go. Highly recommend if you want to relax. Today was my first time at Skyline. I am from out of town and was a walk in. I was promptly greeted. There was complementary wine and drinks. Mary was my nail tech for my spa manicure and pedicure which was amazing. Mary was personable and great at what she does. My mom took me out for a pedicure and manicure which I never do. I was actually kind of nervous to go but from the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be amazing. The interior is so pretty and relaxing as well as pristine. The staff is attentive, considerate, professional, and just overall really talented. They really know what they're doing and I would recommend this place to anyone. They made it an awesome start to a mom/daughter day. And they turned me into a nail person for sure.
