The manager with the last name Davis was very smug and rude to me when I tried to make an exchange. The cashiers are great I just have a problem with the manager who claimed I made up the fact that one of her employees told me over the phone that I can make a return within 4 months. I even showed her proof of the phone call, and was told smugly that I could get something in store for equal value. I’m a loyal customer to them, but not anymore. I just had my first beauty appointment here. I got my eyebrows and lip waxed by Sylvia. She is seriously the best I've ever had do my waxing. She gave a GREAT consultation before even starting to make sure I had no regrets when we finished. She walked through things step by step. During the actually waxing, she was very good. There was light flute music playing in the speaker and the room was very calming. I liked the atmosphere. The only reason I took off a star was because when I walked in for the appointment, the staff did not tell me that the prices were higher for Sylvia since she is a 'master esthetician' and not a 'stylist' so it was more expensive when I went to pay than I was expecting based on the price in the brochure. No one said hello to me and when no one was at the register I was treated as if I was bothering them to check me out. I got a haircut asking for just the dead stuff to be cut off and some simple layers. Ended up getting wayyy more cut off into basically two layers so my head looks like a mushroom with hair extensions underneath. Not only did she make my hair super thin and short, she didn't even get all the dead stuff off. I look ridiculous and ended up paying $30 for the worst haircut of my life. Do not recommend. The entire store and salon have been remodeled, and it looks amazing!!! Very knowledgeable Salon Pros, that are very willing to help. The Customer Service girls do their best to help you find whatever you need. If they are out of a product, they will recommend others. The return policy is fair. I love this place. Read Less

This was my first time at Beauty Brands to do my cut and color and my whole over all experience was absolutely amazing. Amber was my stylist and she went over and beyond my expectations! Lots of services. Hair, nails, massage, products. They offer you water, tea and coffee. Used to be soda. I don't drink tea or coffee but I will soda. Had hair cut once there - wasn't good experience. I get my nails done there. Products I think are expensive.Read Less

Went in this evening to exchange two shampoos for conditioners. It turns out I was out of the 60 day return policy. The manager and associate on the floor were AWESOME!! They both took the time to help me find a reasonably priced conditioner to get me through until June sale. I was totally impressed with the quality of service I received tonight!! :) Read Less

I have been coming here for years and probably will think twice before coming again. The girl that took care of me, her name was dolce, was extremely rude and unpleasant. When I asked for a couple of samples she told me they only had one cup left and sounded aggravated when I asked her for any samples at all. I use the Philosophy skin care line for the past 10 years which I absolutely love. There's a new product out it is a night serum sleeping mask that I would wanted to try because as it was very new I didn't know much about the product yet wanted to see if it's something that I like. Shouldn't have to explain myself on wanting a sample though anyways I was very offended by her and her attitude towards me. We'll just go to Sephora or Ulta from now on thank you very much! I usually only come to Beauty Brands for a walk-in brow wax, and I don't leave disappointed. After an awful experience with a nail salon wax (I know I know, I should have known better) I've become very particular about how they are done, and have never had an issue here. For shopping, however, I find the selection disappointing, and the staff always seem to be frazzled. Despite there usually being someone available for a quick wax, I've always felt like an inconvenience for showing up and paying for their services. But yet I will keep doing it for the end result, which is on point brows. Read Less

This store has great prices during the liter sale...only time I will shop here.  The customer service sucks when checking out. I have been in line 3x recently and it appears as if all the associates are busy so I wait. Then someone walks up on the other side and they help them...um did you not see the line?? Then the last time the girl saw me in line and called me over. In the process of walking over, someone yet again tried to cut in line. I actually like this beauty brands! Every single time I step inside they always ask me if I'm looking for anything in particular and help me locate the item. I have bought a Chi from them, and lots of shampoo. I love when they have their liter sale! It truly is an amazing sale. Love to stock up on Paul Mitchell and Redkin! I have had my hair cut here before and honestly I probably will never come back. Not because it wasn't a good job, but because it's pretty expensive. I know a lot of people are okay with paying close to 150+ for a trim and color but I just won't do it! I love going to Main Street Salon and seeing Katie. She does just as good as a job, if not better, and it's half the cost! Almost all of my friends, my mom, and my friend's moms go there now! I do come here to get my eyebrows done and they do a great job at that. It typically depends who does them, but the lady who I like costs 17. I was kind of shocked at first when I found out what she costs, but she does a way better job than anyone else I have ever gone to. Her name is Jamie and she does a fabulous job! I also really like Smashbox, and they carry their cosmetics. And they obviously have Opi, and a much better selection than Walgreens or Target. Read Less

My wife is in the unfortunate circumstance of being employed by this company. From my perspective, they are a horrible company that treats their employees with near disdain. We have been trying for over 6 months trying to get her insurance cancelled, and they keep throwing roadblocks. (""We need a letter from your husband's HR department, oh -- we need the insurance cards, oh -- sorry, you can't cancel because your husband is no longer an employee and you're no longer newly married."") So essentially, they have been removing $150.00 a month from her paychecks for an optional service we don't want! Realize this people: companies that treat their employees poorly also treat their customers as such. They are solely motivated by profit and do not understand the concept, nor benefits, of creating, building, and fostering relationships among neither their employees, nor their customers.
