Ok first off very unprofessional, I paid 40 for a full set and gel. I honestly could of just took my time and did my nails myself , my nail tech unprofessional rude playing with a customer dog playing very offensive music from phone ! My nails look horrible I'm heated left paint all over my skin , did not file my nails correctly gosh my list goes on and on oh then the color of gel I wanted was almost empty so my nails look horrible . Everyone who works here is a beginner, I've been going here for awhile now trying to give them chance after chance to get it right bc it's convenient for me to go there distance wise but they are not thorough at all. Never in my life have a gotten an acrylic set & nails fall off a week later til I went here. The young one texts the whole time while trying to do nails and will stop to answer her phone, I'll be there an hour longer bc she texts every couple minutes. She's real unprofessional & doesn't do a thorough paint job. The only thing good about this place is the prices, it's extremely cheap but most likely bc it's not quality work, it's beginner work. I went to forever nails today and paied 40 dollars for different length nails, the color and gel are uneven. Plus the girl doing my nails was on the phone half the time and I told her to fix my nails two times because she didn't know what she was doing. Won't recommend anyone to go here. Read Less

Forever...hardly...I got gel nails done here and within two days the polish was starting to fall off in chunks. I paid $85 to get my toes and fingers painted, pretty steep if you ask me, but I thought I was paying for quality. I went back in to request a refund for the fingers since the different polish that was used on them didn't hold up and wasn't applied properly. I was told I would be reimbursed only the $15 for the polish and would have to pay $25 for the application. Being that the nail polish did not remain long enough for the event for which I had it applied, I was not satisfied with this offer. I went to this salon about 4 weeks ago. These photos were taken the morning after. The nail tech filed my gel dipped nails forever with the electric filing tool. When a new customer walked in it seemed like she was rushing to finish my nails up so she could serve the next customer. In the mean time, she kept talking to the new customer (asking her what she wanted done etc) while filing my nails with the electric tool. She repeatedly filed my skin while talking to the new customer and looking away from my nails. She cut the same spot on the outside of my nails multiple times and it was extremely painful. My skin bled and I could see my blood appear on the filing tip. I never witnessed her clean it. She just kept going and put the filing tool back in its place when I was finished. This is probably the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. The nail tech made my nails extremely thin for my full set. I informed her that I would like to thicken them, however, with attitude, she assured me they would be okay. Later that day, my nails broke, not one but two. I went back to the salon, the owner told me she knew how my nails broke and told me a bizarre explanation of why my nails broke, when in reality, all I did was flip a page in my binder at work. Walked in at 5:15pm on a Tuesday for a French gel mani and was very warmly greeted by the manager, Jennifer. I did not have to wait longer than 5 minutes. The woman who did my nails did not make small talk with me, which I prefer, but was friendly when I asked a couple of questions. There was a cute 2 year old roaming the salon,  who also greeted me as I walked in and said bye as I left, and had the occasional mini outburst but as a professional childcare giver, she was fun to watch and interact with. I had a small issue with one of my French tips and without attitude or hesitation the technician fixed it. This was a disappointing visit. One of the nail technician's was talking to me about how she wished she knew a good place that did gel nails while giving me a gel nail manicure. I was passed amongst 3 different workers until after 45 minutes, they scraped off the old gel and began. The place was very dirty and some of the works had really long artificial nails that had disgusting food underneath their nails. overall left with a mediocre manicure. Read Less

I have been here 2 times, and both times have been great! I love that it DOES NOT SMELL like a nail salon at all. The staff gets you in and seated quickly. TONS of nail colors and styles/techniques to choose from too. The chairs are super comfy as well. I took my granddaughter for a polish change and I was going for a mani and pedi. They took her to a table where I could not see her at all. As I signed in I felt the place was very warm. I asked if they could lower the temp a little bit and they nodded. While doing my pedi I again asked to lower the temp. They yelled at somebody and this lady owner came over in a huff and asked if i wanted to ask her a question. I asked if she could lower the temp. It felt like 80. She said then the other people will be cold. I told her okay but that I would not be returning. Then she went to the AC but who knows if she turned it down or not. Hawaii Nails has passed 'my' 6 month probation period. I'm a loyal customer ~ a very PICKY customer and one that expects 5 Star service. I've been faithfully going every 2 weeks for 8 months. Customer Service - Great; my one take away is the managers empathy for clients. They care- they want happy customers. He walks around asking the clients if they are ok and if there is anything he can do to to help them. He runs a tight shop; making sure all the service providers are atte...nding to customers efficiently. Very important to note; if you are not happy with any part of your service... SAY something because they will make sure you are right before leaving. Nails - Nika does my nails - she is the BEST, very detailed, attentive & sensitive to all of my request. She makes great suggestions when I'm baffled with many ideas. Always makes sure I leave a Happy Women (which is not always easy). Today was my first time trying out this nail salon and I really liked it. I was looking to find another nail salon that offered a variety of gel colors in addition to being innovative with the nail art, this place did not disappoint. The pricing was identical to what I normally paid at the other nail salon. The decor is very elegant & soothing. The place was also very clean. I like that they have the UV lights built right into the stations. The only thing that I could have done without was the persistence in trying to get me to upgrade my pedicure. Other than that I was very satisfied. I was told that if I saw any nail art I liked on Pinterest to bring it in and they would do it for me. I have already referred my sister, neighbor & friend.
