What a crazy review by "Terrible Hair Cut" what shampoo would turn your hair orange? The tool boxes for holding supplies are newer and actually a pretty cool idea. This is not a barn, it is part of the cities row of buildings that happened to be made of metal. I'd say Stevie & Co are better off without this client. I went here for the first time and Connie cut my hair. I have shoulder length hair that I wear layered. She really listened to me when I was telling how I wanted my hair cut. She did a great job on my layers and side bangs, not too short, like many have done in the past. She is very friendly and has been the owner of her salon for around 25 years. Stay away from this dump! I went there but will never go back. Their shampoo turned my blonde highlights ORANGE. I think they used Tide for shampoo. The haircut that I have now is so bad that I had to go someplace else to have it fixed. Except it was so bad that they really couldn't ""fix"" it. I've been in cleaner auto repair garages. In fact it DID remind me of a car garage because they use mechanic tool boxes to store their equipment in just like an auto garage. Not to mention how UNFRIENDLY they were. I think the building is actually a barn .... I did see a bat or two flying around the rafters. Yes..look up ...no ceiling...just rafters. Bottom line...if you don't want your hair looking like it got stuck in a weedeater then stay away from this filthy dirty dump. Read Less

This salon is prejudice and does not welcome ethnic clients. The owner(Connie) and the previous owner(Stevie) showed this by what I call the three finger handshake. The handshake where you barely touched the other person's hand. It is so sad that today, there are still individuals who simply don't like a person because of the color of their skin. After looking around for a long time I found Connie. I am so picky about my long layered haircut. Connie is so skilled and I've recommended her to a lot of people and they all keep going back. Plus she is really nice. I love the color she does as well. Soooo recommend her and at such a low price. I've paid much much more for haircuts that weren't as good as Connie's. The salon is a little "old-school" but well worth the short drive from Liberty to Pleasant Valley to have a cut from connie. I've heard Stevie is good too but I'm sticking with Connie as long as I can.Read Less
