1st & Last experience for me. This was at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and they were anything but busy. Her design sucked. And she smeared it when wiping my nails at the end since I got gel polish. And just tried to put a jewel on it to cover it up instead of fixing it (it was still very noticeable). I have had acrylics for about 5 years and have NEVER EVER had a nail break. Let alone 4 NAILS IN 2 DAYS after getting them done. And gel chip on about 8 of my nails total in just two days!! And this is the most I HAVE EVER PAYED. So disappointed, won't be back. Read Less

My family and I have been going to the Nail Stop since they opened. We get our toes done. My son even had his 17th birthday celebration there getting his toes done with friends. This is the worst place I’ve ever experienced. Had her re do the acrylics three times and she was talking about how I’m too picky... I’m paying for the service and i expect to get a good service. Neither happened. She “took” the nail off which she just cut them filed them a bit and kept putting the new one on top of the other one. They size people up. So the service you get depends on what tip they think they may get. I knew how much it was going to cost because I been in there before I was going to give a$15 tip. The technician was very aggressive with my manicure and made my cuticles bleed. The paint on my nails was messy and I had to keep telling her that the base and top coat was not evenly distributed. All she did was smile and didn't fix it like I was speaking a foreign language. Although my pedicure was somewhat OK I will never go back. I wish I can insert a pic of my messy nails to show you. Absolutely beautiful interior and completely spotless! I've never been to a salon that doesn't smell like chemicals but this place is like heaven. The pedi massage chairs are brand new and relaxing. Owners and staff are excellent. (I had one issue with the desk girl trying to understand me and who constantly argued with me and talked over me when I was trying to ask a question. I'm not sure if it was because it was loud in there at the time of my call or if she was new, as this wasn't my usual experience. I think the phone needs to be in a much quieter location.) The stylists worked with my hair for months after (several) very bad haircut(s) in The Villages to get it back in shape and healthy. I can't say enough good about what a great place this is. Also, I would ask what your bill will be at the end of your consultation so you know up front. I had toner added to my head twice without my knowledge and therefore my bill was unexpectedly more at the cash register. They are already VERY expensive. Read Less

Quite possibly one of the worst hacks of a nail job I've ever received. I don't know who fixed my nails this time, but she sure didn't show me the time of day. She was quite distracted the entire time, wasted away my time looking for a phone number on her( do that on your own time) & left me with a piece of shit nail job (Photos will be enclosed). After having a total hysterectomy and a double mastectomy the only thing I have left is my hair. I had a very important business meeting to go to at the last minute and really needed to get my hair fixed. The salon was closed but Mike the owner met me at the salon and fixed my hair perfect. I have never met anyone so caring and compassionate he opened his salon on his off day just to fix my hair. Went in and they weren't busy so I got right in. I got acrylic nails with just paint over them. My nails are all differently shaped and some are thicker than others. On one nail it looks like they only put acrylic on half of my nail. Another nail she started to do the point so it's skinnier at the top than all my nails it looks ridiculous. I had to go home and fix them best I could but that was a waste of 45 dollars. I wouldn't go back. Read Less

This was my first time going to Nail Stop and unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning. I called beforehand to make an appointment and all I needed was a gel polish change. I got there a few minutes early and they started me right away which was great. However, shortly after a few ladies came in that must be frequent customers because suddenly my nail tech was rushing through my service. I will mention that I did tell her I didn't have enough time for a manicure and just wanted to do a polish change, so that could of affected the time of my service. But she didn't even take my previous gel polish completely off and rushed through the design I asked for and if you look close, you can tell. I am not a picky customer but there is nothing worse then being rushed through your appointment and it being completely obvious. I did still leave a tip because I thought the nail tech that I had was very friendly but had she of not rushed through it, that tip would of been double or triple of what it was. Read Less
