I went in yesterday for a pedicure and a french nail dip for MY WEDDING that is Saturday. I wanted to move my appointment earlier in the day (2 days prior) but was assured my 4 o'clock appointment is what I wanted as they "really wanted to take their time" since I am THE BRIDE. I left this place in tears yesterday. After already being stressed to the max, I enter the salon to Jon running around screaming, literally, and having a melt down every time the phone rang. It was like they were hearding cattle around the salon. He screamed (so the entire salon could hear), how he has to turn down 100s of walk-ins and how his employees are required to work faster to accommodate his high customer demand. Well Mary did my pedicure which was mediocre. However, whom ever the girl is who sat in chair 3 was beyond horrible. After explaining I wanted it simple and just french dip for my wedding, she begins to very aggressively start grinding my nails to the point of them feeling like the were on fire not to mention the number of times she ground my cuticles. Then we get to the actual dip portion and I have never in my life (I get my nails dipped locally every 2 weeks), had someone so rough and have zero remorse. She literally popped my fingers and then yelled at me to relax so she could do her job. Then after I point out that she missed a large portion of my thumb she processed to tell me her customers help make her nail jobs look good and I'm the reason mine look the way they do. I was livid. I said no more as I was at the brink of tears and just wanted to be done. Jon rings me up, never asked about my experience, or even said thank you. He wanted me to enter his raffle tho (which when I asked how, I was told read the sign as he walked off). I spent $90 dollars on my nails and look like I got a $30 job for my $30,000 wedding. I am beyond devastated as any bride would know - I am crunched for time and don't have time to go elsewhere. So while they're might be some good artist in this salon, the business practices are far from acceptable and they are more worried about quantity versus quality. This is one customer who will NEVER BE BACK.

Saturday was my first time ever going to this salon. I am very pleased with the service I had done. I had heard many great things about this nail salon and decided to give it a try and do not regret my decision one bit. Everyone was supper friendly and the atmosphere is great! I will be making this my nail salon from now on.

The customer service here is fantastic! I see them every 2-3 weeks, always get whoever is available and am usually super happy with my results. Well this round I had some peeling/bubbling going two days after my manicure. I called to explain what was going on. They were super kind, worked me in within 30 mins, redid all the polish, and didn’t charge me a thing! I will go back again and again!

After being treated poorly at a local nail place just minutes before, I headed over to Gel Nails & Spa hoping for a much better experience and oh boy did I get it! They got me in immediately. Lee was super attentive and did a fabulous job on my pedicure. It is honestly one of the best ones I have ever had! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and great customer service! Jon is amazingly hospitable and always greets you by name if you're a regular which makes you almost feel like family.Ruby usually does my nails and I adore her, her work is impeccable and she's a lot of fun to talk with.Trihn is also amazing. She's my sister's regular technician but we fight over her for pedicures because hers are far and away THE BEST either of us have ever had.You really can't go wrong visiting this salon!

My fingernails were in perfect condition prior to coming here. I got a mani and pedi. The pedi went fine but prior to painting my nails, the technician put what i can only assume was a thinning agen...
My fingernails were in perfect condition prior to coming here. I got a mani and pedi. The pedi went fine but prior to painting my nails, the technician put what i can only assume was a thinning agent in the polish. The next day the polish just slid off three of my nails and they are now horribly discolored, rough and appear to be separating from my fingers. I emailed multiple times with photos to no avail. I would not recommend going here unless you want to hide your ugly fingernails for the rest of the summer.

I have been here a couple of times. The first time, my experience was higher end of average. I like the decor and it is close to where I live. Yesterday, I went in to get dipped nails. I had read the sign wrong and thought that they closed at 7:30, but they were actually closing in half an hour. I told them I could come back but they insisted I stay. I guess they were all trying to go next door for a drink. Well, they should have told me to come back. From what I gathered, the person doing my nails was the owners mother. First, I asked for a drink (they didn't offer--that drives me crazy) and they gave me a hard time about it. I thought they were kidding--I let it go. Imagine my surprise when she doesn't even perform the manicure part of getting my nails done--just starts in dipping. After she hurriedly dips my nails and puts the top coat she says "ok, done!". NEVER have I gone to a nail salon and not had lotion put on my hands. I am quickly ushered out and while putting my own lotion on in the car, I noticed the color all over my skin. I paid full price, I expect to get the same service as everyone else. Not cool at all.

Customers BEWARE!!!! Horrible worst pedicure in the Northland! Taking advantage of teens and treating them poorly! Charged for pedicure but NO top coat and NO massage plus extreme disrespectful service!! Especially if teens are going without an adult! My teens visited this salon with having a budget in mind and declined a few extra services costing $60 in addition to basic prices from the technicians that clearly work off commission. They were treated with great disrespect of very rude customer service with eye rolling, laughing and making fun of them in Vietnamese, plus skimpy service. I reviewed their video and had a friend translate.....I'm in complete shock with the mean and nasty things they were saying about my teens in addition to other customers in their shop! Sad they are allowed to treat others in this manor and taking advantage of young people. I would say all beware they are only interested in swindling innocent patrons and making a laughing stock out of them...what a disgrace!

The difference is their customer service, their contributions toward the community and their friendships and love they have for every last one of their clients. They treat you with the utmost respect and your service is set apart from others you have had you'll be quick to reschedule your next appointment bexahwe you feel invited, you actually get to have a pleasant conversation and meet you technician. Jon and Ruby have taken this business but the horns and they are a class act.!

There's nothing bad to say about gel nails. Nothing. Ruby and Jon have made every effort to perfect their business and customer service skills. They are always welcoming and talk to you as a friend overtime you come in. Their technicians are the best and some of the most detailed nail technicians. There isna customer loyalty program and Jon gives so much back to our community with fundraisers for our schools and salutes our veterans, teachers and officers. Jon is a class act.

The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they didn't use new tools (used filer and used cutter to cut cuticle) - maybe it's a state law thing allowed in MO, but since I'm not from here I'm used to manicurists using brand new tools with every client.

First time visiting Gel Nails and Spa. The staff was very attentive and helpful when I was deciding what I wanted to have done. I also appreciated the fact that they weren't pushy about having me do work that I did not want. I met the owner Jon and you can tell he cares about his customer's satisfaction. Very nice guy and he does great Gel work for the fingernails! I will definitely come back. They plan on moving near Sprout's off 152 highway in August.

I had to take my son with me, and generally I feel people can get irritated about it but they were super nice about it !I would defiantly reccommend this place and will for sure be returning! :)

Gel Nails and Spa is the cream of the crop when it comes to nail salons. Truly the best I have been to, and I have been to several... Near and Far. The difference is their customer service, their contributions toward the community and their friendships and love they have for every last one of their clients. They treat you with the utmost respect and your service is set apart from others you have had you'll be quick to reschedule your next appointment bexahwe you feel invited, you actually get to have a pleasant conversation and meet you technician. Jon and Ruby have taken this business but the horns and they are a class act.!

There's nothing bad to say about gel nails. Nothing. Ruby and Jon have made every effort to perfect their business and customer service skills. They are always welcoming and talk to you as a friend overtime you come in. Their technicians are the best and some of the most detailed nail technicians. There isna customer loyalty program and Jon gives so much back to our community with fundraisers for our schools and salutes our veterans, teachers and officers. Jon is a class act.

Absolutely loved mi gel mani! They did an excellent job - they were very careful and made sure that every nail looked perfect. The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they didn't use new tools (used filer and used cutter to cut cuticle) - maybe it's a state law thing allowed in MO, but since I'm not from here I'm used to manicurists using brand new tools with every client.

They didn't speak to me at all, I wanted stiletto nails with matted paint. They didn't file evenly nor did the paint cover the whole nail. Also after only a week one broke. Also they charged me $60 for this. I didn't even bother going back to get them fixed but went to find a new salon that I like way better.

The only place I will ever go to get my nails done. Jon and Ruby truly care about their customers. I had to wait once because they were so busy and went somewhere else - I immediately regretted that decision. If there is something you don't like - Jon will always make sure it is fixed. It's truly a family when you walk in. I've been a loyal customer for over 2 years now and it won't change.

First time visiting Gel Nails and Spa. The staff was very attentive and helpful when I was deciding what I wanted to have done. I also appreciated the fact that they weren't pushy about having me do work that I did not want. I met the owner Jon and you can tell he cares about his customer's satisfaction. Very nice guy and he does great Gel work for the fingernails! I will definitely come back. They plan on moving near Sprout's off 152 highway in August.
