This place has 4.8 stars...HOW?!?!? I asked for a manicure, the technician cut around my cuticles recklessly, making 2 bleed, and leaving 'fly-away' and peeling cuticle skin on all of the others. I'm assuming his eyesight wasn't the best, as he recruited his coworker to do the gel paint. Oh! And nails weren't even filed/shaped properly, one of them has a ridge across the end because the only file he used was the absolute coarsest, the ends of fingernails weren't even smoothed out. After the mediocre filing job, the dude puts dollar store lotion right on top of the filing dust on my hands! I wasn't allowed to wash my hands during the entire process or even dust them off before he rubbed the lotion and nail-dust combo all into my skin. The lady that was tasked with painting my nails was no better. There are mountains of paint on the edges of some of my fingernails and others where paint was not even applied enough to cover the sides of nails. Of course there are also bumps in the paint from all of the filing dust that was never cleaned from my hands, scratches and her fingerprints from when she touched all of them before they were properly dried under the UV lamp. On top of that there is polish all over my cuticles and around the nails! I don't think you could pay me to return to this salon. There was no ventilation whatsoever and the extremely strong smell of salon products was mixed with someone's fried fish lunch (or dinner?), zero ambiance, no music (only the constant barking of multiple dogs.....maybe just outside the back door, or maybe in the next room? It was hard to tell). I was asked after paint was on 2 of my nails if I wanted "fake nails".....um....no thanks. Judging by the pictures, that seems to be a majority of the business here. More power to them, but if you're looking for someone to tend to your natural nails, don't waste your time or money here. Oh, and there is a $1 charge if you're not paying with cash. Read Less

This place is amazing! I had a horrible experience at two places in Lees Summit previously so I thought I would give this place a try. Everyone here was super nice, they did the design exactly like the picture I showed them, they liked to talk to me, and they told me exactly how they were going to do my nails. I get my nails done here all the time. They are really good and very reasonable on their prices. I love this place. This is the only place I will go for now on. I will never go to this place again! Myself, my daughter, and my sons girlfriend went there to get our nails done call is picky if you wish but they can’t do nails. We had to keep telling them that our nails didn’t look right. And to top it off my daughter for the matte finish on her nails and the polish the next day was bubbled. If I could give ZERO stars I would!! She was sooo rude to me and paid no attention to my request, she literally didn’t speak at all when I was asking questions. I was wrongly charged for long and my nails are short. I was a unhappy customer and she didn’t give not one care in the world. She even rushed me for another customer. Last time I got chrome nails they lasted a full month! I loved them, Radom people liked them.... me very happy they lasted a full month...I clean and cook a lot so this was a first for me. Today I changed it to the cats eye! Read Less

I had my first experience at this salon today and I am happy with my nails. She does things a little different than what I'm accustomed to (no washing hands, no cuticle oil, etc.) but she is super fast. Prices are reasonable (cheaper than some) and she is friendly. I will return. Read Less

Wasn't very clean. It was a warm day and there was no AC on. Someone was smoking outside the building and you could smell the cigarette smoking coming into the salon. Wish I could rate this place higher because the people seem to be very hard workers, and I didn't have to wait very little on a Saturday. Read Less

I understand that they don't take appointments, but I was bringing a friends daughter to get her nails done. I have my toddler with me and understand having a toddler in a nail salon can be stressful. I called and they said theyd make an exception and we had an appointment for 12:30, we get there and they're completely packed. We sat down for ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, then they said we would have three people in front of us even though they said they'd m...ake an exception and make an appointment. We went to top 10 nails instead and they got her right in! I understand things get busy on a Saturday, but instead of lying to get someone in the door, be honest, because now I will not recommend this salon to anyone. Totally unprofessional. Also while I was there, a woman was sitting in a chair and the nail tech was dremeling her nails in the main walkway of the salon standing up... that's kind of gross, and the place was not very clean at all.
