Chose this salon because it was the highest rated in the area. For the life of me can't figure out why. Nail technician was extremely rough with file, to the point of drawing blood. Then later was weirdly tickling my feet. Another worker asked if I wanted eyebrows waxed. I replied "no" and she stared at my forehead and said "Are you SURE?!" Rude. Was there with 2 friends and none of the 3 workers said "thank you" when given tips, just walked away. Pricier than other salons in the area. On the plus side, toes looked pretty good after the scabs healed. ***Three hours after posting realized polish has completely come off 4 toes. Lasted one week. Read Less

I'm only 1 star was because the massage part was decent. I went in today to treat myself to a "end of school year" pedicure. I usually go somewhere else but they were petty busy so I tried a new place. I paid $30 for the BASIC pedicure and my feet AREN'T EVEN SOFT!!! They put on some lotion stuff that is supposed to help calluses.... after extended use. So, of course I'd have to buy the lotion. The only attempt at "treating" my heels (I've been in sandals for a couples months already and have flip flop feet😉) was my feet getting whacked at with and electric like file. SERIOUSLY!?!?!? I have had MANY pedicures over the last 20 years and this is probably the worst. I'm sue I won't be back. Read Less

I have been coming to five star nails for four years and have always had great results. The staff has always been pleasant and reasonably quick obtaining services until recently. A few weeks ago, a friend and I scheduled manicures/pedicures and arrived a few minutes early. We were there for approximately three hours and due to the staff starting our manicures at different times. Additionally, we were told to be quite because my friend and I were conversing quietly while receiving our pedicures. During this time, two small children came in with their grandmother and were running around the salon, climbing on furniture and disrupting others. The staff did not address the grandmother. After leaving the salon, the nail paint on my toe nails lasted two whole days before coming off. After paying $35.00 for my pedicure to only last two days is ridiculous. I decided to try their services one more time, due to my loyalty to them for four years and hoping they might have been understaffed and over worked during my previous visit. I walked into the salon and asked for a powder manicure and was asked to sit at a station immediately. The salon appeared to be moderately busy. After approximately ten minutes, an employee approached me and began to wrap my fingernails in foil and acetone. The employee then left my station and began to tend to others. After approximately twenty minutes, I began to notice other people coming into the salon and begin to receive services. I waited 57 minutes until an employee approached me and stated I would need to wait another 7 minutes. I waited approximately 10 more minutes, when I was approached for the last time, at which time I ran out of time and refused to wait any longer. Unfortunately, my loyalty only goes so far and I will not be a customer any longer. I have never written a review in life, let alone a negative one, due to the lack of time I have with a busy work schedule, but this incident upset me. Read Less
