Five plus years as a patron didn't stop the fact my African American husband being outside this shop by our car as looking suspicious. This is what the owner thought she was whispering to another customer, before I realized the man in question was my husband. The stereotyping and implicit biases came out. Needless to say they lost me as a customer. Because if our money is good enough to bring to your shop, surely my husbands only crime was being Black standing by our car. They are under construction, so I'm not judging them on that. But the pedicure bowl was dirty with dead skin & dirt floating in it. A really young girl did my pedicure. And she was rushed & messy while polishing my nails. I won't be back. :( Read Less

Why is it that almost all nail techs do not want you to verbalize how you want your nails!  And all black ppl do not like long, thick, unnatural looking ghetto nails!The owner recognized me from years ago and I'm sure she remembered how specific I was with my nails. She had me sit with a nail tech that wasn't fluent with his English. He did not know how to shape my nails so I asked if someone else could finish me up. He took offense, so the owner came over to shape my nails correctly. I then asked if she could finish me up. She made it quite evident she didn't want to by saying that she wasn't done with her client (I could see that!). I made it clear to her that I would wait and she didn't confirm anything she just walked away. Will not be going back to this place. Didn't have matching gels and regular nail polish (after they said all of them had matches.) First color didnt have a match, second color was dried up gel. Rather than stopping and finding a new color, the lady kept painting with bad polish. Even after I asked them to stop several times. Finally got her to stop and I picked out the 3rd color. Three hours in the chair later they still charged me full price. Read Less
